Comic #864: Interrupt (Patreon)

I felt like making fun of something simple, common, and relatable. I tried thinking about common mechanics in groups and interrupting came to me. It was either this or having them just watch the cast go off. I was torn, but I think this version is better.

So for this one, I wanted to think of a real encounter where you need an interrupt rotation. First thing that came to mind was the first boss of Underrot, which happens to be in the rotation for Season 2 mythic plus.

I had never really paid any attention to the game model for Elder Leaxa before, and when I looked her up so I could start drawing her I realized she was wearing basically a loincloth, a piece of black tape, a cape, and 3 gallons of blood.

I think it goes without saying that it was one of my weirder artistic endeavors.
