Comic #877: My Bad (Patreon)

Originally this was going to be Krom instead of Gigz. The final panel had Narya on the bench with Donald. Donald was going to tell Narya something along the lines of "wow you almost did one whole fight!" I liked both versions, but ended up liking the version with Gigz a bit more.

I also had a tough time deciding between two options for the third panel. My more traditional approach would be to have Gigz and Narya just staring at each other blankly. Makes for more of a juxtaposition between the third and final panel. But I kind of felt that with the punchline, maybe a panel with Gigz staring at him with absolute fury, and him realizing his mistake, would be worth it.

In the end I feel like the third panel is way more fun and interesting than my standard approach of just having two expressionless characters stare at each other.
