Comic #889: Out of Mana (Patreon)

I felt like I wanted to make a comic on a really simple premise involving group dynamics. Something like #864 which was about interrupts. I originally wrote the following comic, #865, trying to follow that same rubric, but with healing, however I always felt like it ended up overly complicated. So this is my reattempt at the premise. I also figured it had been a while since Gigz stomped on someone.

I tried to figure out what the ideal enemy would be in the comic that Miji and Keydar would be fighting. I went with murlocs because they had already shown up quite a bit in earlier comics.

I also had to last minute change the background of the comic. Originally I had used a dungeon background, and in the end I realized it just didn't fit really well with the murlocs. So I ended up changing it to an outdoor wilderness environment.
