Aight folks, here we go: the conclusion to Chapter 7.

I've talked about this one at length and it took way longer than I ever anticipated but the revised Chapter 7 is complete and I'm happy with it. In the original version of the game, this section had some fun themes and ideas but they never really played out with the emotional punch that I really wanted. This version fixes that and then some. In one of the most episodic updates we've seen yet, this one has re-occuring themes, laughs, banter, some deep dialogue, more answered questions, and doesn't let up on the intimacy. In typical Straight!? fashion, this one runs you through all the emotions right up to the end.

Thanks so much for checking this one out and I hope you enjoy it. That means 3 chapters left but the good news is they're the longest.

You continue to produce a very fluid and realistic project- The first was amazing, and the rewrite is answering so many internal questions. We got the complexity of the MC and every other player in the first round. You are unwinding that in a way that is completely relevant. No disruption to the story- but just a more in depth look at Your people. Your story line must be amazing. Transferring it to this project in such a relevant way is producing an amazing outcome. thanks so much man. this was very kind and i'm glad you're appreciating the story and vibing with whatever this level of depth in an adult came is :p this version is way better and it's pretty rewarding at this point to have an idea on something and be able to actually make that and show it to people. it's just taking things to an entirely new level so hopefully that will continue to grow

Love the game have played it twice and now waiting to play v17 can't wait. I started the first one just for the adult stuff skimming though the conversation. Then I fell in love with the story after that I went back and replayed it I was so good I didn't want to stop. I think it might be that because I connected why all they characters in some way but the one I'm most like is Zack. So thanks for helping me out a little with this. I hope one day to find my Braden even though I'm older than the characters. I started searching for more games like this a stumbled upon New Hope by Blayk Str8 so thank you again.

Just want to ask what is the situation like is the game finished or are there more updates to come? if there are, what is the timeline like, a ball park?

heya, so there's tons more to come. i'm still working on the next update and have a few more complicated shots left before i jump into the last scene then i just gotta start putting things together and see where we are. the next revamp update will start chapter 8 and it's the usual length on updates. these chapters get progressively longer. timeframe: i'm not entirely sure. one scene left but also i know there's gonna be a few issues when i put things together. I'll do a devlog here shortly and try to explain things in more detail. but promise it's coming. we got a couple holidays coming up here kinda close together that throw things off but i'm hoping to have it out in the next month

Hey Aaryn! Long time, no pester! Been through a lot in the last 8 months, and I'm not going to bore you with details. Finally gotten back to where I could come back to Patreon, and you were my first stop. I REALLY missed the boys, so when I saw you'd cranked out a couple of updates in my absence I had to download and obsess for a bit. I'm just gonna say it... I'm hatin' on you right now. Where have you been hiding this comedic talent of yours all this time. You remember that I love this story, and am obscenely obsessed with Zach... but this update had me howling with laughter and choking on tears the whole time. The snark in the dressing room, and during the Truth or Dare game was hysterical. I laughed so hard and loud my neighbors could hear me (and I live in a sound-proofed building). But then you go and end this update on a note that struck the mushy side of me. I've always thought that if I ever met a real-life Zach I'd devour the boy. Yeah, I know he's a train wreck, but I'm a sucker for lost souls. Then to watch that gentle epiphany at the end of Chapter 7, ... yeah. You don't sucker punch bitter old drag queens like that, boy! So I'm sitting here grinning like an idiot, sniffling back happy tears, and just wanting to give you SUCH a PINCH!! HOW DARE YOU!! All bitchy teasing aside, Aaryn, I loved every minute of this update. And the new graphics are incredible - I loved what you've done with the "Term Paper Marathon" scene, the overhead shots are extremely good. Also, I about choked laughing at Rachel's new dialog in the salon - "eats me like a box of Corn Flakes" with go with me to my grave. Love 'n' light, -MD

yooo, first off: welcome back and i hope whatever you've been through in the last 8 months is behind you. the world is crazy right now so please take care of yourself. but also thank you so much for making this little corner of the creative world a priority. to know the guys made you smile made me smile as well. in terms of the humor ... :p ... the revamp is much more... just me with less filter. a lot more confident version of me than we saw in the original game. when i was learning how to do this stuff, i had no idea what i was doing and juggling all the jobs you have to do to create something like this solo is a lot-- especially for someone with focus difficulties. i think where we are in the revamp now, you're getting a mix of me being more confident and using less brain power on all the everyday tasks that are required, which opens up more avenues to include new things: which so far has been increasing the realism in the story through difficult camera shots, trying to capture nuances with the characters, and banter. i love banter. it's how i show affection to people. if i'm teasing you about something, it means i'm comfortable and i think that's what you saw in the last update. ton of emotional real life stuff happened during that update over here and the project ended up being a way to counter that. but where all that random shit the characters say comes from? shiiiiit, i have no idea. i dont even know where that corn flake shit came from, she just said that in my head so i wrote it down. lmao. but also, irl, my friends know that i be saying some random, chaotic shit :p yo, good to see you. hope your safe and hope you get the wind at your back for awhile. take care and stay tuned, next update should be soon <3

oh it's far from completed. we still have 3 chapters left and they progressively get longer. v17 of the revamp just dropped a few days ago and it's the first probably 1/3 of chapter 8
