Yo,

I know I been quiet over here lately but the stuff that I've been working on has been really hard to share because of spoilers. I'm gonna do a devlog update pretty soon again to catch y'all up.

I did want to share a shot to show some of the power of the new computer in comparison to older shots. Obviously, given the picture I'm showing, we're going to see the classroom again and I wanted to actually show more students in the school than what we've seen in the past. Mostly because my computer can handle it and it just feels more realistic. My old rig wouldn't have even started to render this. I would click render and the Daz window would just disappear instantly and close the entire program. The crowded hallway shot from v020 was actually rendered by Blayke since he had the newest rig and was the busiest shot we'd ever seen in game. We'll see a few shots like this in the new update as well as the revamp afterwards. While they render very quickly (this shot took 12 minutes in 4k) they take several hours to setup so it does slow me down. Hopefully, it'll flesh the world out a bit more though and increase the immersion.

Looking forward to the devlog. The new pictures look great.

Ok now I'm really excited for the whole complete the version. Knowing nothing about computing or what you go through to make a game. Just seeing this pic seems to add so much more. The college did seem a little lonely. Will any of these characters maybe interact with Zack or Braden. Not into a talking role so much but eg Zack when he spaces out. You will always have someone look at you kinda weird.

Do what you do Aaryn- we all await the amazing Finale. True art from a true artist! Thank you for this great project.

Great project. I did not think I was going to like it (just a personal taste- the cover with Braden makes him look 12- which is a bit of a turn off for me.). But I have really enjoyed the game so far. But when you consider what to do for the final- maybe you will consider giving Braden a little more toned muscles over the course of the play-through. After-all, if he is working out on the wrestling team for a year- he's probably starting to bulk up a little bit... =)

Fantastic!! Love the depth of view. It's as if I/We are sitting behind Zack and experiencing his point of view. I can almost hear the low murmuring sound in the background when many people are in the same room. Aaryn, you and Blayke have upped you game!!

OK, now I'm excited - not only populating the classroom, but what looks like views from different angles? That's going to be a great addition to the texture of the game, and I'm eager to see it! You mentioned "Daz" - is that the name of the program you and Blayke are using to create the art work? I downloaded Renpy because my curiosity got the better of me - totally your fault, Aaryn! - and the old programmer in me just has to tinker with it. Haven't started on that, as my current work projects devour what mental energies I have, but I've been curious if you'd been creating/rendering in the Renpy program or were working with another. I've been really enjoying the art you've created, as it has a much more mature feel/look than a lot of the other games in this genre. I'm not a fan of the Power-Puff Anime some of them use, and the high end manga leaves me feeling a bit alienated... it's a bit too easy to take the over-the-top art and distance myself from it. That's why I enjoy you and Blayke's work - the story combined with the art keeps the characters "human" and relatable.
