Edit: Missing Images Hotfix: if you have v0.03.2, you can download the attachment "images.zip" below. Unzip and place the unzipped "images" folder into your "Str8Remake/game" folder. Otherwise all links are now updated to v0.03 and v0.02 is dead.

So here we go with the second half of the Chapter 1 download links. Lot of new content here and visuals plus a few changes that both play homage to the original but also feel more in line with Zack's character. I think it'll play fresh for fans of the original and it should be fun to see some of the easter eggs and setup here when you already know what happens later.

As always: Don't use old saves or the game will crash

Also, please try and use the MediaFire and Mega links first. The Google Drive one tends to crash although the revamp downloads aren't as hectic as the original game downloads were so that really helps.

I've been holding off on playing through the revamp just to enjoy the full immersion more. Now that chapter one's done, this will be my Christmas present to myself! :D

Awesome job! I really enjoyed the new renders and the revamping of the story options. Really does help the flow. I played through all of the options to make sure I did not miss anything. I am looking forward to the next installment.

The icy shards of death are coming to us here in the midwest so I will definitely be spending my inside time watching this while snuggled in!! Thanks for all you do and to everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!

You should check out “The Halloween Misadventures of Zack and Braden” (a fan story) if you haven’t already. It references Paramore’s “The Only Exception” at the end. It would be cool to incorporate it in some form. The first verse relates to Zack’s family, the second verse relates to the theme of “nothing lasts forever” and his going through the motions, and the chorus is about Braden’s only exception.

Utterly enjoyed this update, Aaryn! The new images are wonderful, and the updates to the storyline definitely improve the play-through. I can't wait for the next update now.
