Anyone else having a hard time getting Billy Crystal's City Slickers version of Rawhide out of their head? No? Me neither. Anyway, here's a little nugget Kathy put together (with the help of our 7 year old) for a laugh if you need one today.

This is probably my favorite BTS. And I must say that William did a pretty good job with some of the filming despite the audio distortion and the “bouncing” bit between mom and dad was pretty funny 😆.

Just when I thought my heart couldn't get any warmer and fuzzier. Wow. So much goodness here. I loved watching William watch Dad singing Rawhide - he was so still and focused. I loved the kid camera/distortion footage of Rainbow Connection - it has an old timey home movie kind of feel. Also, I don't know if this was an intentional choice on William's part, or just a great happy coincidence, but filming Mom and Dad making a video about Rainbow Connection **while moving the camera back and forth in a rainbow** - I mean, c'mon. That's absolutely brilliant. This was amazing, William, and I hope you keep shooting more BTS!

Best BTS EVAH!!! The sound distortion from William's camera brought to mind how the 'Slughorn's tampered-with memory' sounded like in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Love the "rainbow connection" William was making between mom and dad. And your budding film maker already understands the importance of including the pup! No, I haven't heard Billy's version of Rawhide in years. When I think of City Slickers, I remember Billy asking Jack Palance's character if he's killed anyone today. "Day ain't over yet," Curly growls in reply. When I think of Rawhide, I picture 30-something Clint Eastwood, before he got the Dirty Harry/spaghetti westerns squint.

That was awesome. Thank you. Best part was William's bts video. Following in Mom's footsteps. Love how he moved the camera with the singing. I had a big grin while he was doing that. And then the commentary. Finally got to see Tommy awake. Except when Geoff was walking him. Awesome job William. And I don't care about the distortion. Just made all the better. Kinda reminded me of the old movie cameras.

I absolutely love William's BTS. It definitely brings me back to when I was his age or a little older, and all the home videos my family made on our VHS Camcorder. The technology has improved a bit since then, but the kid perspective is about the same.

Damn straight get the kid on an unpaid summer internship 😂 get Tommy in on the work too (I can see him dressed up as a horse for the next western themed song 🐶🐴🤠) make it a true family production company 😂. All jokes aside bless William is so cute and the Junior PA has clearly picked up a lot watching Geoff and Kathy (and the whole VP fam work). It’s also so sweet that he panned between mum and dad when filming as he’s obviously realised that it’s team work not just “Dad’s show”. I can’t believe how big he’s getting. I’m still picturing Daddy Sang Bass. 🥰
