Melissa Elliott

I wasn't expecting this so fast! Looking forward to checking it out after work today 😁

Karen & Lauren

*giggles with delightful(ly spooky) anticipation* and that did NOT answer ALL the burning questions

Amy Murray

Looks like this was quite the undertaking! Your efforts were all well worth it, though, as the final product is amazing.

Kyoko Nightstorm

I see Johnny kept the golden violin, even in death. 😂 It was so cool to see the other VP guys willing to pop in. And Kathy was right (again), the character call backs were so good.

Susana

I can't watch it now 😩. I have to wait for a couple of hours. I want to see it, I NEED to! 😁 I love the BTS 💕

Mairi

What a ton of work!! Kudos to you guys for a wonderful job making it look real! Wow!!

Azrielen

But who was eyeless bride? Amazing BTS! Wow this was an exceptional amount of work and every inch of it on screen.

Mikki Fullerton

Best part of that whole thing for me was seeing Geoff *smile* as he reviewed the footage of different parts. Watching someone feel satisfied with their work as their creative process unfolds before their very eyes is something that just brings me so much joy and I will forever love supporting that kind of artistic work. ❤️ Great job on this one!

Gillian Drysdale

that has to be the bestest ever BTS! The amount of work in that, so nice everyone including Tommy lent a hand (or paw) and how good does Geoff look as a victorian gent? absolutely superb ❤️

Manasi Kane

Thank you Kathy ! You have the best ideas, the throwbacks to the past characters and relating them to the ones from the ride is just brilliant ! ❤️ Also, is Elmer a new clone now 🤣 Lovely to see the fellas do their bits and the best part was watching you and Geoff getting happier and satisfied as all the pieces fell into place ! Just so much appreciation for all of the hard work y’all do ! ❤️ Hi-fives all around !! Also, Geoff wanting Kathy to be taller and Layne to be shorter for the green screen work was just funny ! 🤣

Helen D

That was quick, something to watch while I do the washing up. 😊

Debbie Buck

Thanks so much for sharing this, Geoff and Kathy! You all really go above and beyond for us!!! ❤️

Amanda Nott

I really shouldn't have taken the time out of my work day to watch it, but I did anyway lol!

Cécile Roussey

So that’s work!!! I loved how this masterpiece evolves... Thank you to Kathy and the few members of VP... and to you too, Geoff! The faces on the statues I asked myself questions to tell myself 'but whose are these faces? From Geoff and Kathy’s family?' when I saw the clip... and in fact it was Geoff! This required a lot of work that must be honored and respected... Thank you very much without forgetting the cameraman... ^^

Amanda Nott

That was an awesome amount of fun to watch! I'm so impressed you got all of that done in such a short time! I actually did not recognize the heads as Geoff!

Lindabell

Kathy and Geoff, thank you so much for putting in so much work to make us so happy! Must be why so many of us love you both and Voiceplay too!

Susana

I like enjoying it with a coffee and not thinking of anything else. So, in an hour or two I will 'dive' into the BTS 😆😁

Doyne

What a wonderful BTS! Thanks!

Carol Franklin

Great BTS. As always the attention to detail is mind boggling & very appreciated. After years of convincing reactors it’s you behind the beards I don’t know what we’re going to do with the busts even I’m still not sure they’re you 🤣🤣

Katherine Powell

I loved this extra long bts. Seeing everything that went into this video was just so much fun. Thank you, Kathy, for all the effort to put these bts videos together for us.

Maria Rydström

What a fantastic work you have done with this song and video. It’s so enjoyable and fun to watch this BTS and that everything turned out to be so stunning in the end. Thank’s both of you and Happy Halloween❤️🎃

Helen D

Wonderful job, it was indeed quite an undertaking. Well done. 😊

Judi B E

Oh, my goodness, your VIRGO was in full display. Your attention to detail is amazing, but I know you can do things no other way. You are so loyal to the finished product, to your vision, to learning all the skills (singing, acting, lighting, computing) that make your videos so exceptional. Thank you for sharing it ALL with us.

Maria Moore

Wow such a lot of work and the pay off is spookily spectacular

Jacky Friedman

That was so much fun to watch. Thank you Geoff and Kathy. I can see the very hard work and time that went into this one. But well worth it. The VP guys did great with their parts. So happy they were in this one too. Great nods to Hide and Siek, Grim Grinning Ghosts, Haunted Mansion, Monster Mash and Ghost Riders In The Sky. Standing applaud to you both 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Jacky Friedman

Have to agree about the bride. My guess is Kathy. But we won't know until it's released to the public I guess.

Karen Campbell

I had so many questions and all have been answered. All of you worked so hard! Thank you! I can't wait until it's released now 🙂

Sue Armstrong

Wow, what a great in depth BTS! Still curious about the bride's identity, but I think you answered everything else I was wondering about. Thanks, Kathy, for another fun look behind the curtain!

Jordi S

Thank you both for all the hard work! I am SO happy to be able to support this. 🥰

Cloudy Skies

Thanks! That was amazingly fun. What a lot of detailed work! Well the final product shows it! It is marvelous.

Mark Armstrong

Makeup. costumes, props. filming and production, Kathy is a regular Swiss army knife of talent in these videos, oh and Geoff was good too.

Beth Comer

It was absolutely fascinating watching you manually reverse engineer projection mapping with the busts. (Once you and VoicePlay get hold of that technology, the sky's the limit.) It's impressive how believably individual all the busts looked once you finished tweaking them. Really amazing work; the vast spread of skills you have developed over the course of your career is truly staggering.

Meg Dailey

You look so pleased with some of those shots--as you should, they came out amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing 💙

Spots Knight (I never use my real name online)

I love the look on Geoff's face at the 23:37 mark when he is watching the filming of the Busts. there is just a slight little grin that shows just how much he is enjoying that moment. So Genuine. It almost makes me think I can imagine him as a young boy having fun.

Happy Leaf

I love, love, love these Behind The Scenes videos! You guys are the best. I'm so delighted to have the mystery of the singing busts solved--it was bugging me! Thank you

Cloudy Skies

I thought the same. I couldn't help but smile at the satisfaction in Geoff's smile.

Cloudy Skies

And I hope Geoff went home and had a better beer than a Miller 😬

Susana

I finally could watch it. Geoff... What can I say that everyone hasn't said before? It is amazing! if we couldn't see the BTS of the videos, we would never know how much work you have to do to 'give' us such an awesome video. I love so much watching you (Geoff) smile because of well-done work, you sometimes looked tired (of course!) and you also looked so happy, so proud of the results of how much you both (because Kathy is an incredible producer!) could film, and the high quality of everything. The details! clothes, make-up, flowers, candles -I guess from Ring of fire-, the five guys, the Ghost Riders (what a trick for us!) and of course Eli, Layne and Cesar. It was awesome to see them there as well. And after all that, you had to edit so many things. Of course... your voice!! As I always write, thank you so much, Geoff for sharing your voice and your art with all of us. Sorry the long comment, it's the first time I write so much, but this video deserves it. Don't worry, this will be a total success!! Thank you again. - Congratulations! Big hug for both of you from Argentina.

Swan

incredible amount of work went into this and it is gorgeous! So happy about all the cameos but mostly about the outfits! Edwardian to Victorian was just peak in men's fashion. We should bring those vests and jackets back!! And the capes!! Eli is winning in that cape!

Doyne

Excited for the public premiere tomorrow!!! Glad that you posted the notification early! See you then!

Loralei Dragon

That was a serious undertaking! I'm glad the monthly Patreon support made it possible to branch out like this. Also, Kathy is basically a documentary filmmaker at this point with how long some of the BTSs are lately. It's fantastic!

Åse M Bruun Lagnestål

Wow! That was quite a ride! I’m so grateful for these BTS:es you give us! We’re spoiled by your talent and generosity! 🥰👍🎃🎶🔥

Del Rhea Watson

I am literally weeping tears of joy for this BTS and the actual video. My long long love affair with the HM far exceeds in time my more recent love affair with VP… Yet both burn exceedingly bright within my soul. Thank you for pouring all the details and love into the video and the behind-the-scenes look. It showcases both your love for the subject… and the love for your subjects. ❤️🎃❤️🎃

Lynn M

Thanks so much for the bts. I thought I had an inkling of how much work went into the video, but my goodness I underestimated. Thank you both for how much work you put into these.

Tracie Schlaak

I did not know you were the busts. Great job!

Loves to Dive

I never would have guessed the busts were Geoff, that in itself is amazing. Add in all the other nifty little surprises and just wow. I know it was a lot of hard work but boy the finished product really shines. Layne sure did spend a lot of time in the Haunted Mansion this month and, bless his heart, never lived through it.

Zoie McIntyre

Thank you so much for sharing what I am sure is only half or quarter of the work you actually did. What an amazing job you all do. Thank you xoxo

Marie DesJardin

I love how much of this BTS I didn't understand in the slightest. Whole other world. From the frame rates to the sforzando, it was a real education. So glad this turned out how you wanted! It's a lovely video

Marie Galaxy

Oh how I LOVE the BTS!!! Everything, just everything! Seeing how you distorted your face on the busts was so interesting and amazing. I was so curious about that ‘cause each one was so different. I had thought, during the preview, “the many faces of Geoff Castellucci”, but instead of gorgeous, incredibly creepy! I want to go on and on, praising this job well done, but I’ll leave some room for others!! 😂

Tracy K

Love the BTS, as always. *So* much attention to detail and creativity. The song is growing on me, slowly.

Christine

Thanks so much Kathy and Geoff for the BTS. Just love to see how it all comes together. Geoff you look very suave in your frock coat!

Jeanette Pencz

Thank you so much for the BTS Geoff and Kathy. This is one of my favorite perk to witness a miracle 😊 You put such an tremendous effort and work to create pure magic 😍

Brandy Franklin

I was excited about the busts. I knew they were clones right away. So now we know what Geoff does to the clones when they displease him. He encases them in stone and still makes them sing along lol.

Stacey V.

I had a similar thought.

Talbot

I love Tommy's voice. We need more commentary from him!

Jill Peterson

Yes you answered almost all my questions. Only one left Did Jeff and Jeoph make up after their little gun fight? Or are they know upset with each other 🤣🤣😂🤣 Thanks for all your hard work, your attention to details are amazing and greatly appreciated 🥰

Stacey V.

My thoughts exactly. I think that is the most i have ever seen Geoff smile and be seriously happy across a entire project.

Sarah Borzelli

Wow wow wow, I'm really amazed and impressed by all the work that went into this one and I'm really glad you had and took the time to make all of your brilliant ideas happen. I love all the ideas Kathy had about the set and to bring back old characters - how great! The outfit of the main character looks so good and the ghost rider in socks was funny lol. Good that you neighbors can't look into you yard, Idk what they'd think of your activities. It was lovely seeing Geoff's content face when watching the singing busts footage. Thank you for such a wonderful BTS again, I really enjoyed seing how it all came together, especially the busts!

Debs Badger

Since there was no information about her (or the other flying ghosts), it's likely they're all just stock fx animations that were used.

Debs Badger

First, thank you both for continuing to find time to record BtS content while in the midst of a very involved video shoot. It is extremely appreciated every time, especially since it is not a perk you are required to generate. Second, thank you for giving us such an in-depth BtS this time around. Given the undertaking this video was, it was lovely to see how all the bits and bobs came together over time. As others have mentioned, it was especially sweet to see how chuffed you were over those singing busts. It's satisfying to see the artist equally satisfied with their creation. So proud to be a patron on this one. 👻🎃💕

Mikki Fullerton

Apologies to Edna Mode, but I love capes! So much fun to wear!

SunnyOutlook

I loved the music video but the BTS always makes me appreciate the final product more. You can see all the love and dedication you and Kathy put into your work. Pretty incredible. By the way, love your look as well. Suits you!

Leslie Langfitt

We have been so spoiled this Halloween season! First a blast from the past video to tide us over and now an almost half hour BTS!? I love all these Patreon perks. Thank you both (all, to include VP & Pattycake as well) for all the work and detail that goes into making these songs and videos.

Christine O'Grady

Wow! Mind blown! I never realised the work involved. Thank you.

Tom Peavy

Not to be total kiss ass, but good lord you are one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever seen. Music, yea, we know. But to combine that talent with the ability to produce so much visually is truly astonishing.

Grand Nagus

DON'T BUMP THE PROJECTOR, or the busts! Such a great BTS! You guys did such an amazing job on this one! And what would a Geoff shoot be without a reshoot in some form or another. I can't wait for the world to see this one! I teased my friend about this one, and i told her NO SPOILERS. I introduced her to Geoff and VP, and now she's hooked too. Can't wait to see what she thinks, not that anyone wouldn't like it, that's absolutely not possible.

Julie Stubbs

This was so fun! We have a saying in our house when someone is being a particular hindrance, “Helping like a Frodo” (our dog’s name). It looks like it could be “Helping like a Tommy” too.

Druid

I honestly was SO impressed by the singing busts (my favorite part of the Mansion ride, tbh)… you NAILED all the mannerisms, quirks, and expressions… with a few extra playful moments to boot. So fun!! Oh, and as a pianist of 20-something years…. To do a sforzando, you strike the note/chord, then run, whilst still holding down the keys, pushing the piano directly into the audience…

Crisstina Joubert

That is a frightening amount of details, technical and material, to keep track of! Always blown away by these incredible glimpses, thank you both so much for who you are and sharing your wonderful talents!! Seeing Tommy enjoying his backyard romp was nice, too.😍

David Wanderer

Wow, that's an amazing amount of work, not surprising given how thoroughly good the final result is.

KorKnot

Thank you for the view from your side of the camera. Informative & enjoyable. 😀

Pickle Sandwich

-passes a beer through the screen for Geoff- You worked hard

Hunter

I appreciate this perk so much. I always go out with a takeaway into the work of video production that I had never known before. It's a much bigger world then I thought it was. Espechially for productions as grandious in work load as this. I'm very happy in knowing there is no more end of the month time slash, because why rush? Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication! I saw Geoff's smile once everything with the busts was working. That is a great feeling. Hardwork truely pays off!

PetraH

Thanks so much for this wonderful BTS. I was wondering about the singing busts, and what a brilliant idea to project. Great new trick and worked so perfectly! Love the idea with the VP ghosts and previous characters. Actually love all the creative ideas you put into this video. And happy that it makes you both happy as well. Thanks Geoff & Kathy for all the work you put into this, it is impressive and turned out fantastic!

ChazyUK

Thank you Geoff and team : ) such a fab perk, we are very lucky patrons : )

Swan

One need never apologise for Edna :D

Ms Molly

Wow! You and Kathy work so HARD for us, all to give us the best possible end product! Your work ethic is insane, and I am just in awe! Your perfectionism always pays off...at least for us! I appreciate it so much, but I am concerned about you working so hard that you send yourselves to an early grave and join those ghosts too soon! You are SO loved by your adoring fans, me especially!

Janet Wright

I just finished watching the premiere out in YouTube world and was astonished to see comments about the BTS. There was no way that I thought you would have gotten that done that quickly. And a really detailed one at that. I wasn’t sure when I watched the video out here on Patreon if that was Geoff’s face or not because the facial features are so different that it really distorts the look. But I could catch a little bit of the smirky smile and that quirked eyebrow from time to time, so I had my suspicions. Even knowing, it is really hard to see him on those busts and believe it’s the same person. The behind-the-scenes video is a masterpiece as well as the finished product. This had so many interesting little tidbits that I really didn’t ever think about. I assumed that somehow you took the footage from Monster Mash for the waltz scene, but Kathy’s scream scene should’ve tipped me off. I think the last time I went to the haunted house was in the 1970s, but this brought back all those feelings of astonishment and the excitement of trying to figure out how the heck they did all that. Thank you, again, for that trip down memory lane.

Janet Wright

I agree about Geoff’s look. Not everybody can pull off a frock coat the way he can.

Janet Wright

I believe it is Eden Espinosa playing Constance the unlucky bride from the recent release from PattyCake Productions.

Suzy Bailey

That was wonderfully in-depth, thoroughly interesting and highly enjoyable. The BtS's and Karaoke tracks are my favourite Patreon perks and thank you Geoff and Kathy for taking the time with all you have to do, it is as always much appreciated! 👻💜

Suzann Harris

Whoa! This is hands down my favorite BTS ever! The tech, the costumes, the lighting, the set, the music, the talented star and his supporting characters—everything was incredible. And finding out the busts were actually Geoff? Amazing! Kathy, is there anything you cannot do? Being a Patreon member is worth every single penny. So grateful to part!

Shirley27

I think Geoff should have a few seasons on the Bridgerton. I loved this video and absolutely enjoy the BTS. It always amazes me the time and effort, not to mention the talent, that goes into entertaining us.

Katrina Greely

Wow! That was really fascinating to watch. You guys have the best attention to detail.

Hwyla

The projection idea works especially well here to make the heads look even more like the busts on the actual ride! Additional plus? they look more like entirely different people by projecting Geoff onto different face shapes.

ChazyUK

Wonderful BTS thanks everyone involved 😊 Thank you for sharing with us, gosh, Geoff and Kathy you have the best work ethic, you really should be very proud of yourselves 😊

Tema Krempley

This was fascinating. I also appreciate the extra Tommy footage!

Mark Armstrong

It's handy that you already work with some silly spooks.

Shari Hibberd

Because it was filmed on the 3rd, I received a wonderful birthday present! Thanks everyone!

Brian Dale

Didn’t realize how long it takes to do a video

lin Zhu

suddenly noticed that Geoff got his new haircut, its shorter now and looks much cuter🥰

Susie Q

Love the long BTS! Wow! SO much detail doing this video. Y'all must feel a great sense of satisfaction with the resulting final product 🤠

Nathan Wahl

Oh, my, that monitor and workstation! So was the titled bust real or rotated in post? Oh, a Layne on fiddle!!! Everything synced so precisely!

Silv E

You work so hard (and it's fascinating to watch)! I really admire your dedication - and the result is just delightful, even if the algorithm can be fickle sometimes (definitely not on you. I actually have a feeling it'll do well in the long run).

Amanda W

Have you ever looked into photo-realistic virtual avatars? It might be more Eli's speed, but that could take a lot of time out of future productions if you could get a really good model of your head. Then you would only have to change the skin layer for whatever you need it to look like.

Amanda Nott

I was listening to something on patreon and it ended and just went to the next thing which happened to be this video, I got out of my car to check my mail and I had closed the door cuz it's cold outside and when I got to the car the whole thing was vibrating cuz of some of Geoff's low notes lol!

Durga Dasi Dorthe Rasmussen

I love the playground you guys have there. It looks really nice. It made me really nostalgig from my younger days back stage on a local theater. I just love all your work. Thanks for brighten up my winter days

Jen

This is a great rendition of not only this song but the dedication and work that goes into it
