Thank you for this update! Geoff, you've been on my mind since you first shared these struggles you've been facing, as this was my exact trajectory too. I can really sense your frustration and resignation in this video and I'm sending you a virtual hug. Please know that I am definitely *not* tapping my fingers on my desk, impatiently waiting for your next piece of content. Take your time, heal/get accustomed to your new normal, I will be waiting for you on the other side. xo

Gillian Drysdale

Melissa Elliott

Sending so much love/well wishes to you as you navigate this.

Wishing you the best recovery possible. Hyperacusis and tinnitus are no fun. Take care of you. We will be here cheering you to recovery.

Trixie

Sue Armstrong

Glad to hear there's progress with your hearing. Life has thrown a lot of loops in your vicinity lately, sometimes you're just along for the ride! That said, I'm excited for upcoming projects! Take whatever time you need, though, to get them done properly without losing ground on your health. ❤️

Arlene Jacobs

Glad you are feeling better and on the mend.

Sharon and Sean Harbour

I’m glad you’re seeing improvement with your hyperbaric treatment! Hearing loss is scary, thank you for sharing this with us and emphasizing the importance of early treatment. Please take the time you need to rest and recover, we’ll be here whenever you’re ready to get back into everything.

Cloudy Skies

Glad you are making progress with your recovery. Best wishes for going forward with adapting to your "new normal". Take your time. We'll be here cheering you on.

Constance Christensen

Sounds like you are having hearing troubles. I know about that so I hope it gets better. I have not bee following much lately due to our health issues so I am not sure what your problem is but I wish you the best and will be here.

Durga Dasi Dorthe Rasmussen

Health first always pray for full recovery. Thank God it is not as bad as it could be. Just Love 🙏🪷👣🙏

Mikki Fullerton

So sorry this had to happen to you, but I'm grateful you were able to get the best treatment you could get! The good care you've taken with your hearing over the years might have been what prevented things from being worse than it was, for all we know. Best of luck to you as you finish up treatment and wait through the next few months to see how far you may recover. In the meantime, also so very grateful to hear you are able to continue making music. I have always known the good tunes from you would end someday, but I was hoping for many years yet before that happened and I'm grateful (though not likely nearly as grateful as you!) that the time did not arrive now. Take care of yourself, and as always, thank you for the music. I'll be around waiting to hear it whenever that time may come again!

Doyne

Thanks for the update. Very glad to learn that your hearing is improving. Take all the time that you need!

Joyce Miller

Praying for your health and healing!

Kristin Taggart

I am so sorry that you're dealing with this. Hope the treatments continue to help, and take whatever time you need to heal. Sending loads of love!

David Williford

Rely on Kathy to get yourself through this adjustment period. She should have good advice on how to handle it. I can tell you were masking apprehension and fear because this is threatening your livelihood. I don't blame you. It's scary. I'm not a musician really but somewhat of an audiophile. Or at least I used to be before dealing with hearing loss and tinnitus. I still enjoy listening to music but I have to use an equalizer to boost in the range that I have lost. You will get through this. After all it didn't stop Beethoven did it?

Jamie T.

I'm so sorry you're going through all this. I've been dealing with tinnitus for many years so that part I can definitely sympathize with. I haven't been able to use headphones for years and need to limit my music listening time which I hate. I also can't fly so it's a good thing I'm a homebody. I sincerely hope you continue to improve and PLEASE don't overdo and make yourself worse!

Hannah1995

Glad to hear you're getting better

Crisstina Joubert

You’ll always be 100% in my book, but I’m so glad you were able to gain a lot of it back!!! Thank you for keeping us posted on your recovery!❤️

Lois McCray

Yes Geoff, Sooon and Later.

Jennifer L. Cramp

We are here for you and with you through the good, bad, and ugly. Here's hoping for a good recovery if not a full one. Thank you for all you do and we're a patient bunch. My best to you and your family 💜

Maria Moore

You have to get yourself better we can wait

Jen

Please don't push to hard on trying please everyone by overdoing. Rest yourself when needed. Take comfort in your amazing family and friends. Your health is much more important than anything outside of your loved ones. The world can just wait.

Eric

May your therapies prove to be the Belgium to SSNL's USMNT...

Renee A. Butler, LMT

We are here for all your experiences, musically or not. Take all the time you need to heal properly, no rushing this, and can't wait to hear all the cool things you bring to the music sphere as soon as you're ready 🎹🎚🎛🎶🔈

Daniel Anderson

Geoff, take your time. You deserve to rest. We will all be as patient as needed for you to recover. We would much rather you rest up without content for some time and get better than to have more content now but risk losing you from pushing yourself too hard. We all know you work so hard for us and we appreciate every single second of your hard work. Sending you all the best wishes and thoughts. ♥️😊 Also, I looked it up. According to the Internet, the majority of people who get the diagnosis promptly and start recovery fast often see significant or complete recovery of their hearing. I don't know how much your hearing has improved, but hopefully it's shown vast improvement Geoff. Again, best wishes and sending you positive thoughts.

Diane Holland

I am glad to hear that you have recovered a lot in the 3 1/2 weeks. I can hear how exasperated you are about dealing with this issue. I, too, am dealing with the pain in my shoulder, knowing it probably will not stop. I want to let you know that I am grateful that you are still able to work through all of this. Take all of the time you need to heal. I am really enjoying listening to all of your older music while I wait.

Åse M Bruun Lagnestål

Yes, this has really been a crazy month. 😖 Sending you all the love and healing energy. Please take your time. No hurry. ❤️‍🩹

Marie DesJardin

Geoff, I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's not just your health, it's your livelihood! I'm so relieved that your hearing appears to be (mostly) coming back. I'm sending you good thoughts and best wishes

Chris Benefield

You will always have my support brother. As long as I'm able that is, never know what cards you will be dealt.

Barbara Binney

Thank you for the update. Take all the time you need to get healthy and/or get adjusted. We'll be here when you're ready to share new content. P.S. You CAN show us all of that over there that you're working on. You just choose not to.

Shirley27

As we’ve all said, you do what you have to do to get better. Also you with some hearing lose is still the best. We are forever your fans.

Grand Nagus

So glad you are doing somewhat better, Geoff. Hearing is a interesting sense, can't be turned off because it's so essential for survival, yet, when damaged, it's the sense that is most likely to be permanently damaged. Looking forward to see (hear) what is on that screen to your left.

Susana

Thank you Geoff for your time, we will always be here for you. Don't worry, you have thousands of fans all over the world who support you, who wish the best for you. Please, take your time, do the treatment you need and enjoy your beautiful family.

Suzann Harris

Geoff, thank you so much for keeping us updated through all of this. We have been thinking about you constantly and are so grateful to hear how you are progressing. Since you shared your diagnosis of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss, time has been taken to learn more about it. Prayers are going up for your healing, for relief from the discomfort, and for strength and encouragement as you navigate this journey. Reading through the comments from your Patreon community, it is clear you are surrounded by people who care deeply about you. You are in the thoughts and prayers of so, so many . . . You can tell we are genuinely excited to see what you have coming next. Your projects are always worth the wait, so please do not feel any pressure to rush back. Take all the time you need to focus on your health and give yourself the space to recover. We will still be here, cheering you on and looking forward to whatever comes next whenever you are ready.

ChazyUK

Of course we will stick with you Geoff 🥰 we care about you and we know you will be working hard no matter what, bless you. Hope your recovery keeps improving, don’t push it though. It’s been such a crappy start of the year for all you boys, fingers crossed the next half is much better 😊 Sorry about the USA not doing great in the World Cup but can I just get a little excited about England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 oh my goodness never in a million years did I think we would beat Mexico on their own turf 🫣 The Three Lions song started off as 30 years of hurt, it’s 50 I think now lol 😂 I daren’t watch the next game lol 😜 😊

Jeanette Pencz

Thank you for the update Geoff. Please don’t pressure yourself 🥺 Your health and wellbeing is mostly important. Sending you good thoughts and healing wishes 🤗 Take your time. I am going nowhere. Old and dusty people stay together 😁

Crazy CatLady

Thank you for updating on your progress with your hearing. Sending best wishes your way! Please don’t worry, take whatever time you need to heal.

J.L.

May you recover as much as possible, Geoff. Prayers and best wishes.

Silv E

❤️

Shirley Patton

Praying for you Geoff! Those of us who love you will be waiting patiently for your next release. Take all the time you need to heal!

Lenka Z.

Crossing fingers for the best possible recovery. As someone with partial hearing loss myself, I can tell you - even if it doesn´t go back to 100%, you´ll adapt, I promise. And since you are so inventive, I´m quite sure you´ll turn it to your advantage somehow. Take care of your health and take all the time off that you need. We´ll be waiting patiently for any music treat that´s currently in progress.

Els Peeters (=jopperke)

Proud Belgian here 🤩! Hope you regain as much of your hearing as possible. Fingers crossed, take your time to heal and adapt, we aren't going anywhere!

Marna Brown

Take it easy and try not to stress, yeah I know love it when people say don't stress! Seriously tho, just breathe and try to sleep be calm. Ya got all of us, right? We be praying for you, we love you! 💜💜💜💜 Oh yeah, stay positive! The body heals better. Hugs

Tema Krempley

Geoff, go slow. Seriously! We’re not running for the hills any time soon. Heal as much as you can first.

Joan

So sorry to hear about this. Take all the time you need to adjust.

Karin Wolf

I was about to ask here if anybody knew anything... because, sending good vibes constantly across the ocean since you told us first... I have to quote Friedrich Torberg, a czech/jewish writer from long long ago: "Möge ER uns beschützen vor allem, was noch ein Glück ist" Crude translation: "Might HE protect us from anything that could have been worse..." BEST wishes - complete healing IS possible! I've done research! 👋

PetraH

Thanks for the update, Geoff! I was wondering how things are going for you and I am so sorry for the tough times and struggles. Please, please, please take all the time you need, and no additional stress!! Your health and happiness is the most important thing. We will wait patiently until you are ready. Sending positive thoughts and healing vibes!

Chava Hall

This has got to be so emotionally difficult for a musician, on top of the pain, nuisance, and extra work. Praying for your healing, Geoff.

Chava Hall

Oh, and adding my voice to the people saying don't feel rushed. It always makes me happy when I see the patreon charge in my credit card for you and Voiceplay, whether there's a recent video or not.

Annnnnnnik

That surely must've been some troublesome time. Good to hear your hearing improved since it happened, best wishes for it to get to as good of a shape it can🫂. Take your time, fans can wait whatever the delay might be. Health's more important, take care🫶

Hector Solana

My friend, thanks a lot for sharing... Which you did not have to. Keep spirits up! Work on your recovery first and foremost! Take your time to go through it and don't worry about anything else. We are not going anywhere. Best wishes from Mexico (who was also recently kicked out of the World Cup), Geoff!!!

Leonie Frenkert-Ghazi

A sudden hearing loss calls, above all, for rest, slowing down, and shutting out both internal and external noise. Your body has pulled the emergency brake—give yourself permission right now to simply not have to do a thing. Healing requires time, silence, and patience. Let the world keep turning without you for a while. We can wait; don’t feel guilty on our account! Everything will be fine. 💞

Sarah Borzelli

There are always worse things and it's a wise perspective however it's still scary, also because you depend so much on your hearing. I send you all my good thoughts and healing vibes. Take good care of yourself, I will be here for things, no matter how long it takes. 🫂❤️

Talbot

My guy, for cripe's sake, let that hyperbaric chamber be the ONLY pressure you put on yourself. Rest! Regroup! Walk the dog! Do what makes you feel better NOT what you feel you have to do. Also, that white stripe really suits you, nudge nudge wink wink.

Lynn M

Thanks for the update G. As others have said, we are here when you are ready. I am glad the support from Patreon has given you a safety net as you navigate your new normal. I’m glad your treatments have helped you recover some of your hearing in the affected ear. Thank you for being willing to be vulnerable with us.

Pat R

OMG I ended up having hearing problems and I am constantly asking people to speak louder and slower at which point most of them start screaming and over enunciating every word.

Bill

G, Sorry!! I've got something similar and equilibrium issues go with mine. Know that you are loved by many and our hearts are with you and your family. I'm amazed that the tinnitus isn't making it difficult to stay on pitch but mine is a high pitch and others have different things like crickets or just a roar. I won't get into the muck of details but I know a lot of what you are going through. There are always well meaning folks sharing non-science based treatments and cures. Be wary. Listen to your doctors. Get lots of rest. I'm available if you want to chat or complain or cry. It's been 26 years since I was diagnosed. Hit me around the same age as you are now. My best to you as I consider you a friend. Nothing is more important than friends especially when you go through trials.

B Sprak

There is no hurry. Take your time healing. We all care enough to wait as long as needed. I'm just glad you've improved and are getting adjusted to the changed Left - Right balance. Go Belgium!!! 🩵🩵🩵Geoff

Helen D

You have been on my mind since you mentioned your medical issues, I have all my fingers and toes crossed that your hearing continues to recover. That's a whole lot of travelling every day but sounds like it was worth the extra time. Take all the time you need, we can wait for all the good things. 😊

AmbularD

We're here, Geoff. It's good to know that things have improved. Thanks for keeping us up to speed. Looking forward to whatever comes next!

Sophie Llewellyn Smith

Hi Geoff, thank you for the update. I don't really know what to say in the face of the difficulties you're facing, so I'll just send you a massive hug and hope for continued recovery.

Maria Rydström

Thank you Geoff for this new update. I am glad that you are feeling better and that your treatment has made some improvement for you. Please take care and remember that we are all thinking about you. I am sending many warm thoughts your way❤️

Rachel P.

Take your time!! We'll be here.

Sharon Bapp

Special prayer for you and your family.

Zoie McIntyre

Don't worry Geoff - you just look after you! Oh the teasers!!!!!

C. McClean

Just take care of yourself and your family. That is what is important. Keep us up to date as we really care.

Becky

Thank you for the update Geoff and for sharing your diagnosis. This post could help someone save their hearing.

Emma Yadkin

Thanks for the update. New content can come when it's ready, I'll wait patiently for that. It's your healing I hope to see soon (with no extra O's).

Christine

Prayers for your full recovery, Geoff. Take the advise of your fans and rest as much as you can.

Beth Comer

Taking care of yourself is the most important thing of all, and I don't think anyone with a conscience could begrudge you whatever time you need for recovery! I'm here until you actively chase us off with a broom, so no worries and no rush. Sending all the positivity and good health your way, and I certainly hope that this is an end to the troubles for quite a long while.

Carroll Guen Hart

This sounds very distressing for a singer. I’m glad the treatments are helping, and we all hope for a full recovery. You are in our thoughts and we are sending good energy your way.

Delila Hall

I am so glad you’re better. Please take care of yourself. You are very important to us. And I LOVE the beard.

Cynthia Ross

Oh hon. 🥺 I’m so sorry you’re going through this; I know what kind of melt down I would have had in your place. Take care of yourself as needed. We want you healthy and happy & we can wait. 🫶

Martina Kraft

OMG so sad to hear that diagnosis. It is so important to take all the time you need to recover and get better. We fans can wait as long as it needs. Glad to hear that you see all the positive things even in not so good times. So take as much time as you need and remember that your next project doesn't have to come out soon.

Melodee Kemp

Prayers and positivity for you and your lovely family!

Jonna J

Good to hear that things have improved. Even though my brain craves novelty all the time, I hope you take enough time off to recover the best you can. Living in Europe, it's normal to me for people to be on summer vacation or sick leave for weeks. Thanks for taking the time to post us an update and sorry, not sorry for USA getting kicked out (lol) from the World Cup, I think we Finnish are only country in the world who have never even qualified for the world cup so I just root for Norway to win.

David Wanderer

Glad things are looking positive for you. Same as before or not isn't so important, looking after yourself is

V.E. Griffith

I’m good to let you focus on what’s really important - taking care of your family, friends, and body. Focus on that as long as you need.

Vaesse (vie-ESS-uh)

We will continue to support you regardless... take your time to heal, we'll be here when you're ready. Glad to hear it seems to be getting better, but it's fine to mourn the loss of what you had.

Amanda W

Big hug! Thank you for the update. I'm glad you are taking time to take care of yourself. You matter, you are worth it. We will be here, whenever you release whatever you're working on. ❤️

MorningRose370

Take your time, take care of yourself, do what you need to do. We'll be waiting with the proverbial bells on when you're ready!

Angela Mondragon

All the love, Geoff, hoping you have a solid recovery and that your treatment is effective! Looking forward to your next project!

Terri

Prayers for your recovery. Hang in there!

Debs Badger

Thank you for the update, G. You are so kind to keep us in the loop. I'm glad the treatment is having a positive effect, hopefully it continues in that direction. I have been here since day 1, and I will continue to do so. I'd send a hug, but I know those aren't your thing with virtual friends. 🙂

Happy Leaf

Thanks for the update, Geoff. Please be kind to yourself and take all the time you need to do whatever you need to for your health and well-being. I'll be here. And I am curious about the new project you are working on. :) Something that has worked really well for me to bring down levels of stress is a technique where you tap lightly with your fingers on several acupuncture points. It's called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or tapping. There are a bazillion videos on YouTube. If you are interested, try an intro video by Nick Ortner or his sister Jessica Ortner. Their documentary "The Tapping Solution" may still be on YouTube, too.

Amanda Nott

I'm glad to hear that you've regained some hearing, and I hope you will continue to improve! A friend's son-in-law is a sound guy who works in NYC, and he apparently sneezed so hard it burst his eardrum, and he likely will not regain his hearing either. He is quite concerned about whether or not he will be able to continue in his chosen career path because of it. Anyway, sending big prayers and hugs your way from VA!

Anja Eder

Hi Geoff, I can relate...as soon as things get too stressful, my hearing feels like there's a wall between me and it. Take all the time you need to recover!

Barbara Shuman

Thank you for the update. There's no way you could have seen this coming. You've said before, you were always so careful with your hearing. It's incredibly scary. Just so glad you didn't waste any time getting on it and now you're seeing progress. I've been sending healing thoughts in your direction since I heard about this and I'll keep 'em coming. Pease take care of yourself first and foremost. Don't worry about us. I'm here for the duration.

Karin Wolf

Oh yess.... Norway for the win! RO! Greetings from Austria (kicked out rightfully but they were not too bad...)!

Cécile Roussey

Take all the time you need, Geoff. Your health and well-being are important... Otherwise, I’m sad about your hearing... I wish you that everything is resolved for you, for your health, your hearing, etc... everything everything! I wish you a good recovery and I pray for you... (I just did it there, in the head)... we will know how to be patient and above all, take your time... <3

Scott J. Thornton

Thanks for this update, Geoff. Glad to hear that you’ve adjusted to your situation and you are doing better. Your health is the most important thing, and we will wait patiently with all appendages crossed for your next musical release. IYKYK

Lulu Dumpling

We love you as an artist but also care about you as a person. Your health, family, pets, pantry.. are all important to us. No one is going to complain if you need to focus more time & energy away from work. We'll still be here. There's no getting rid of us.

Hunter

From one who has burned the candle at both ends multiple times, I can say you can only go so far until you either mentally can’t, or the body says “I’m out.” The universe needs to chill. But, take all the time you need to recover, and we’ll be here. We’re with you Geoff. In any way we can be. Also, I find a good “break” from things for a few days, and focusing on sleep, helps. A digital detox never hurts. 😉

B Kra

Geoff, please just take care of yourself. Here's praying for a complete recovery. All your loving fans will be here to listen whenever you are ready. Just take care!!!

Shellee Roe

Sorry i'm late to response, but thank you for the update. My heart massively goes out to you because I had some form of hearing loss that happened when I was younger, but it was a result of the left side of my face going numb (Bell's palsy). I hope that things go better for you when you're on the other side of this. I can see how weary you feel but at the same time I can also see how strong and resilient you are.

Todd & Sabina Barth

Have you tried Peptides? They do some amazing things. I follow a guy on top of that game. Let me know if you need info…. Many blessings & hope you get better soon. Thank god it’s not worse. Hopefully this to shall pass . To many good days ahead 🙏

Jewel B

Sending get well prayers 🙏🏼 💕

Tonia Richardson

My goodness, Geoff, that's quite an adjustment to make, all of a sudden. Thanks for the update. I'm very glad to hear that you are taking an active path forward in pursuing treatment. Know, for sure, that you have an unflappable network of support, and take your time taking care of yourself. Big love and deep healing, from medium me, on little island. 🏝️💜🌺🕉️🙏

KorKnot

Please take care of yourself, whatever that entails. Prayers, wishes, good thoughts, hugs, etc....all in-coming for you. 💗 Knowing what being patient means, that's what we'll be. 😃😉

Ms Molly

Oh god, this is so scary. My dad had that happen as well (and as a young man, like you!) He was an operatic spinto tenor, and it took him a *long* time to adjust. I'm just so sorry you're going through it! I can only equate it, in a way, to losing my upper range because a surgeon accidentally severed my supralaryngeal nerve - devastating for a singer. I will never recover the part of my range that was my strongest. But you just continue to adjust...like, now I'm a female bass! Stuff like this is traumatic, but you seem to be handling it amazingly, all things considered. I am hoping/praying the hyperbaric thing works wonders for you, and I'm so glad you've gotten some back. NO ONE is like, "Oh that Geoff! Where's my new song!?" We all just love you and want you to be ok, however long that takes, so throw that stressor away right now! Big hugs!

Shirli Walker

Thank you for the update Geoff. We are all here for you and please put yourself and family first. Big, big hugs and love from here in UK ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Amanda Yarbro

Thanks for the update. My goodness, glad things aren't worse than that. Please take all the time you need to recover... We'll still be here. Ironically I went to look it up and as soon as I typed "sudden" in this came up as a suggested search,"sudden hearing loss in one ear."

Susan Pratt

Hi, Geoff! I am so very sorry for responding late, and I am very sorry about your diagnosis. But, I appreciate you sharing your news with us. I hope that you know that your fans will be with you, and we will stand by you no matter what. Please don't worry about us. Take as much time as you need. In fact, I'm having fun going over videos that I haven't seen before! Or, I am catching things in videos that I have watched previously, that I have missed, because so much happens in all of the videos! I'm sending lots of love for you and your wonderful family. Thank you for the update, and please take care of yourself. P.S. I can't wait for your new projects, but only when you're ready!!!

Tova

Thank you for taking the time to update us, and I'm so sorry you've been going through this. I have to say, I've been amazed by the resilience, positivity, and even humor you've managed to hold on to through such a difficult challenge. I think many of us first came because of your music, but quickly grew to care about you as a person—and about your wonderful family as we've gotten to know you a little along the way. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and wishing you a quick and complete recovery. Please don't feel any pressure on our account; your health comes first, and we'll all be here when you're ready.

Janis Carney

Thanks for the update. However long it takes, we will be there for you. At least you will catch up on your reading.

Shirli Walker

Following my comment yesterday, I had a thought this morning - steady I don’t get many! - how is your SNHL affecting you when you sing? Especially in your higher range? I had this thought just after I watched the VP Peaches reel. Just a thought. Many healing prayers coming your way from Norwich UK ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Michal Jakeš

My kids and I are all keeping our fingers crossed for you, and we hope you'll recover as soon as possible. Something to lift your spirits. We're passionate about high-end audio. At high-end audio shows, exhibitors play music that best demonstrates the capabilities of their systems. Lately, alongside jazz and artists like Michael Jackson or Yello, your songs have been played more and more often. They've become especially popular for demonstrating deep, powerful bass. And hearing you on a system like MBL or Focal is truly an incredible experience.

Robin McMullen

Geoff, thank you for the update. It sounds like things are going as well as they can be for now. I have great love and respect for your music and your musicality. For what it's worth, Beethoven composed many of his most profound works after the age of 44 by which time he was completely deaf, probably due to lead poisoning.

Judi B E

❤️👂Bless you, Geoff.

Megan Morgan

Thank you for sharing this, Geoff. You have been on my mind since I heard about it during the release of the webchat for VP. I’m likely one of a few who didn’t know what was happening, and I am so sorry you are struggling with this. I appreciate the positivity and looking on the bright side, but I want to add that it’s okay to be struggling still, to be frustrated, and/or whatever else you are feeling. Regardless of the end result, the fact of the matter is that it has been a change, and it is something you have had to try and adapt do. I can’t imagine dealing with anything like this, let alone with the grace, patience, and strength that you have been. The fans are patient and are willing to wait until you have had time to recalibrate. We care about you, and happily put your health above whatever we may get from you. We will be here when you’re ready, no matter how long it takes. Please, please, take care of yourself. 💜 M

Hi Geoff, Given how you had to do a lot of research regarding your recent hearing situation and given that you had to get fast treatment to stand a good chance of recovery from sudden sensonural hearing loss would you consider making another hearing loss video? My family found your last hearing loss video very informative and also interesting to watch as well as being easy to understand. (My eldest child is writing a book with a character that has hearing loss and has just done some research about sudden sensonural hearing loss, which is a complete coincidence as they didn't know about your condition.) I hope your hearing is continuing to improve, looking forward to your next soon when you are ready. 😊

Geoff, stick with your treatments and, most important of all, eliminate as much stress as you can! When this condition and diagnosis hit me, oh, maybe 2 decades ago, my caregivers, both physical and psychological, pinned the event on stress. I've had a very satisfactory recovery, but I'm not a singer, so our standards may differ. But do trust that you WILL get better, and as so many others have said: We're in this for the long haul. We'll wait for you with patience and love. XO
