Hey everyone, i've been working harder than a beaver in a hurricane, and i'm happy to report that we finally have a video.

Thank you for your patience with this one while we got our collective you-know-what sorted out, I appreciate all of you! I hope you enjoy the video, and I hope you've been enjoying the song.

PS This is gonna premiere publicly TOMORROW ( I know it's a quick turnaround but... that's when life gives you lemons...you throw them on the lawn and hope for lemon trees. Or something.

Oh my soul. I have had an atrocious past few days and (as always) a song from you is exactly the balm my nervous system needed. I've been so busy surviving I hadn't even had time to appreciate the audio previously gifted us so this is my first time hearing as well as seeing. From the first harmonies and soothing visuals I found myself able to take a legit deep breath. Thank you for working so hard, for first, taking the time to get better and then still blessing our lives with your talents . (An additional odd thanks, but thank you for not releasing this as a Christmas song. That's always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine. While beautiful, yes, it is not a Christmas song, so thank you again.)

I am convinced the people who believe this is a Christmas song have it confused with Handel’s Messiah Part II Hallelujah Chorus; Messiah is actually a Lenten composition which somehow became attached to the Yule season. There's an important thing musicians do when covering a song called "Serve the Song." At least good ones do. Capture the essence of the song. Be mindful of all the aspects of the song that make it what it is; let the song tell you what that is. Only then make all the additions and changes as you want, but make sure they still respect the essence. This is an outstanding example of Serving the Song. Geoff serves the song very well. It's what it's supposed to be. And in this case he added some subtle and judicious changes, and made it his own. Bass emphasis of course, and a few little fun things here and there, but they enhance rather than displace. Well done. By the way, you CAN alter the song a lot if you want: even change the genre, BUT just realize that if you do, you better have something darned good to take it's place!!! Serving the Song isn't as restrictive as it may seem at first.
