LET'S CHAT (Patreon)

I'm not really a person who is into milestones. I'm too consistently at the grindstone or walking down cobblestones, listening to the Rolling Stones, or passing a kidney stone to be drawn in to the manifestation of what might often be just a blip of a highlight in a very long timeline. My customary routine for celebration involves raising a (slightly larger than) civilized portion of amber beverage high and saying "cheers" with my bride (quietly, of course so as to not wake the kid). It's nothing fancy, but it's our way. 

That being said, THIS feels like a moment to celebrate.

When we started here on Patreon 100 centuries ago, I kinda sorta thought in my head, "Well, maybe there'd be like 100 or so folks who'd jump on and be a part of this little Patreon thing here." And then I had another thought immediately following about cake. I like cake a lot.

Needless to say, my mind has been blown right out the back of my head by the overwhelming amount of folks who clicked "JOIN" in the past few months. 

There are now over 500 Patrons here. FIVE. HUNDRED.

That's just... that's just so many. 

In fact, there's so many of us, that if we were all zombies, I'd feel very comfortable calling us a horde. We'd be a very impressive horde, indeed. A tasty pedestrian walking by us would  say "WOW, LOOK AT THIS VERY IMPRESSIVE HORDE OF LIKE MINDED ZOMBIES"! 

And then we'd eat them. Because zombie horde.

Munching on human brain meat aside, let's chat. And this time, let's chat like the giant mass of happy human folks we are. EVERYONE. ALL OF US. SUNDAY AT 12PM. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a mess, but it's a mess of which I'm thrilled to be a part. Thank you for being here, I'll see you on Sunday.
