Hey everyone!

Just a quick heads up, since we’re working on some big projects for VoicePlay this month, I’m going to take a short pause on my channel and pick back up in August. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? It means there'll be no video from me this month, but you also won’t be charged anything for July. BUT I’d still like to give you another piece of exclusive content in the meantime. It’s called the AKA Podcast. Any guesses as to what that might be?

ALSO let's do a web chat this Sunday afternoon. Sound good? HIT ME UP!

ZAYRAY!

Bye bye popcorn ceiling?.... that’s okay. I will miss you this month but am very excited for august

Julia Cable

Sounds good! Chat with you then

Debs Badger

That was my guess, as well. 😁

Tabby Livingstone

Can't wait to see what you and voiceplay have in store!! I seen the early release and that was very interesting to say the least.

Debs Badger

I probably won't be able to make it Sunday. I'm going to be in Nashville. Don't miss me too much. 😉💕

Echo Valentí

I'll miss the unfinished ceiling 😢

Jess M

Probably not able to join the chat this time. 😔 Unless the weather is bad. But not making a video this month is totally understandable.

Jeremy Paul

I don't mind carrying you for a month with no content. I'm here to support you. That means, sometimes life happens, and that also doesn't mean you don't have to eat. My donation is not based on content delivered. It's a monthly recurring. I am totally OK with leaving yours just ride. Consider it PTO or some other benefit you earned. You are awesome. You deserve it and I'm sure most, if not all of your Patrons would agree. That's my $.02!

Carl Thomas

Hope all the projects go great, Geoff, and thank you so much for everything so far. I would echo what Jeremy said but I know you would decline. 100% gentleman.

Cynthia Ross

Oh, that picture made my shoulders ache in sympathy. The one time I tried that overhead painting, I found it to be way more strenuous than it looked. On the upside, they do make a scent-free BenGay now. You had the lead role on the VP vid, that can hold me for a month. 😊 I hope to see you in the chat! You take care of yourself and what you need to take care of, we'll be here when you get back. :)

Rosie Boughen

Not sure if I’ll be able to make the WebChat live, but I do have a Question that maybe you could answer and I’ll see it in the replay… What exactly is Kathy’s role as “Production Manager”? What kinds of things can we give her credit for? (I hear her laughter behind the camera in some BTS footage, but I’m sure she does more than bring smiles to your faces.)

Arlene Jacobs

Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to Sunday!! Finally getting rid of that popcorn ceiling. I’m going to miss it.

Christine

Somehow I always end up with paint in my hair when I do that... I spackled/painted 2 closets last weekend so I empathize. Looking forward to Sunday.💖

Christina Dowdican

Sounds good, see you Sunday and try to have some fun, You deserve a break. Ceiling looks great so far😊❤️ P. S. I agree with Jeremy, my monthly gift is for you to use for whatever you need or save it for later. It's already scvounted for & i don't want it back. Or Buy william something with it😊might want to put a shower cap on to keep the paint out of your hair. Its easier to get paint in your hair but not so much getting it out☺️😆

Teresa Ritter

This will be my first one as I am new to this whole patreon thing! Very excited!

Rachael Heidi

Sunday afternoon sounds great, Geoff! No worries about how busy you are, understandable! Nice pic too haha, getting those ceilings done.

MichelleShari

That sounds lovely. What time is the web chat on Sunday and the time zone? It will be my first one to attend

Nicki

I also believe that you deserve some paid time off!!!! Is there a chance for those who still would like to be charged to get charged? It would be my pleasure!!! Please let me know how to do this! See you Sunday 🥰

Hugmany Foemen

Oh, no! That ceiling was a well-loved feature! Kathy spilling the tea should be fun. I know she's far too ladylike to embarrass you - or maybe... Tell you what, no questions, let's just have Kathy anecdotes. Her choice. What with Cesar-wrangling, the search for a fifth, and other VP projects, you both have more than enough on your plate this month. And your last production has been such a success it should count twice. That would be my justification for backing Jeremy's 2-penn'th [Edit] Btw, last time I painted a ceiling I thought I'd gone blind. So much paint on my glasses...

Margo Zimny

Yay! Your ceiling gets painted! One more thing off your honey-do list! P.S. the money is yours for each month. I believe your brain is probably working overtime coming up with new content for next month and thereafter.

Cindy Barber

Totally understand taking this month!! Hope all the other projects go well and I'll be there Sunday!

Judy Wilde

Just let us know a time and I’ll be there. It’ll be my first.

Åse M Bruun Lagnestål

Other people go on vacation; if you skip one month of video shooting it’s totally okay. ❤️ See you Sunday! 😍👍

Alex Walker

Wow! Painting the ceiling! Unbelievable, it's been so many years! Great job!

Rachael Heidi

Heya, the time zone will be EST. He had been doing them around 12pm EST recently but that's not saying he will use that time on Sunday.

Gillian Drysdale

very excited to see what you all have in store ❤️

Eileen Parkman

Can't make it Saturday - it's Renaissance Faire season and I'm working. However, I still appreciate the offer of a chat and AMA. I think it would be equally fine for you to not put up a video/chat/AMA this month so you get a bit of a break. And I'm fine with being charged for this month to help you get ahead for your next project. You're amazing and deserve a little time off.

Eileen Parkman

P.S. Chats won't be the same with the ceiling painted 😜

Nellie Daugherty

Ah. BTW. West coaster here, so if you'd please specify the time zone of the chat. I didn't want to miss the last one, but did due to zone discrepancy. If AKA means ask (Miss) Kathy anything, that would be fabulous. J. None gave her such kudos, and I get the sense that she is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. There's no way her work ethic and energy isn't off the charts. Maybe the most deeply moving scene in all of Geoff's videos is the one where she's getting all of those shots and just sinks down in discomfort, but not one whiff of complaint about it. Not to mention that she married an Italian! The guys always looking so good on screen? I bet she's behind all of that, and has the lock on the most photogenic look and angle for each group member. It's like, well...what's the old wisdom? Each person needs to be photographed by someone who lives them. Clearly, she does, and it shows.

Katie D

Everyone needs a break, especially you! We'll still be here 🙂 If I had to guess, I'd say "Ask Kathy Anything?" Either way, I'm sure it'll be fabulous 😁 looking forward to Sunday! 😊

Nellie Daugherty

Also, I would also be okay with the occasional month of no video, but still supporting via patron. He is not taking us for granted, and I appreciate that.

Tracie Schlaak

My guess was ask Kathy anything as well. I will miss the chat because I'm making costumes for a production. I will watch the replay. You deserved some time off. Will be thinking of you and your family :)

Jojo Hale

Ask Kathy Anything?

Tara Congo

He always goes by EST for the time zone :)

Hunter

Acronyms…ugh. Why. Sunday is music to my ears. Seems stress has been my friend this week…so it would be good to chill with my favorite people/bass man who diminish my stress. 😉 And AKA…uuh….Also Known As? 🤔

Amanda Gentry

give me a time and a station- I’ll be there! See y’all Sunday!

Sandra Ni

Ok, thanks... *googles time zone for middle Europe*

Sandra Ni

This. All of it.

Sophie Llewellyn Smith

Not sure about Sunday, as I'll be away from home and my husband and kiddos will be trying out sea fishing! Not sure about phone reception on the Northumberland coast. By the way, a short 'pause' doesn't exactly sound like a HOLIDAY. I hope you and your family are getting one of those this summer!

Gretchen G

Totally understand. Glad you're taking a break when you need it. Thanks for letting us know. Question(s): How's Clayton doing? Any cute cat pictures you'd like to share with us? Good cat stories?

Amanda W

Oo kitty. Yay!

Rita (idolanocircus)

I hope you can rest during this break, you definitely deserve it ☺️ if AKA is Ask Kathy Anything I'm sure it'll be wonderfully entertaining! Will definitely be there on Sunday 😊

Amanda W

You said she married an Italian, but she is the Italian. Fiery tempers, supposedly.

Cynthia Ross

I'm ok with the paint in the hair - it washes out easy enough. It's the aching shoulders I can't deal with.

Cynthia Ross

Add me to the list of people thinking you deserve PTO and willing to provide it! This was a great idea.

Judy Wilde

No problem with missing a video this month. Especially considering your near death experience on the last VoicePlay shoot.

Nana Koranteng

Glad to see your sorting out your ceiling

Jamie T.

I'm in for Sunday. No problem with no video this month; I'm too busy watching If I Were A Rich Man over & over anyways.🤣 I still consider chat's and podcasts content! I agree with the crew here - I really hope AKA is Ask Kathy Anything!!😊

Debs Badger

It is. But so is her maiden name of Palazzolo.

Nellie Daugherty

When Geoff talks about marrying an Italian, I always take it toungue-in-cheek, as his name is as Italian as hers. =)

Nadia Davì

I think nobody will complain here if you take a well deserved break as everyone needs to do. We are here because we want to, so... but thanks because as always you're kind and toughtful. Hope you can spend a little bit more time with your family. I go entirely with the others about Kathy for the AKA podcast and if this was not the original intention😅 I think you should reconsider the idea since the high request for her😉 Hope to be there on Sunday!

Lourdes Sanz

Sounds great to chat with you on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!! Do take the time to spend more time with family and rest a bit if you can... no worries! meanwhile we are certainly enjoying a lot Misty Mountains!! you are so great on it!!!!! and of course all the other videos as well.

Alisha Watson

No worries about this month. We'll all be here when you get back😊I'm new to the Patreon and am still trying to work my way through all the VP content. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with, next! Looking forward to Sunday.

Veronika Troll

Sounds good :) Have a great break and family time :) I'm looking forward to the AKA podcast :))

Jessica

Sounds good see you there. Looking forward to the podcast too !!!!

Sophie Plourde

Aw shoot I can't make this one :( that podcast sounds interesting though! Super excited😄

Eileen Parkman

I meant to type Sunday but messed up -- but it's true for my Saturdays, too :)

Amanda W

Your ceiling looks great. 😊

Lois McCray

Aren't we all? I have so many of VoicePlays and Geoff's videos pinned to play over and over and over again on my playlist. Watching all the view numbers go up while I game. My adult grandchildren think grandma has lost her mind. They should have never gotten me started down this how to computer path.

Alaethea (Ali)

Hoping I can make it, if it's not really early afternoon it should be fine! And honestly, burn out is real, take the time you need.

Amanda Hovendon

Hello I’m new here 😅. This is actually my first time joining Patreon and I’m SUPER excited to do this. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to join the web chat this Sunday, but I can’t wait to listen to the AKA podcast😁

Amanda Hovendon

I have to say If I Were A Rich Man/Girl is my new favorite video now on YouTube 😅

Dee Herrera

Not sure if I can make the chat but I can’t wait for the podcast! If I Were A Rich Man is absolute gold!

Rosie Boughen

Hello! Hope you’re well! Do we have an idea of the time yet? 🤔

Tara Congo

It was at 12:00 EST today. If you're below the $10 tier, then you won't see the link for the monthly live chat. The replay will be available in the next day or two, though!

Rosie Boughen

Oh! Duh! Hahaha! Thank you for clarifying my brain blip 😜 ☺️

alice collins

Per the picture. It's nice to see that Geoff has something to fall back on if this singing thing doesn't work out. Lol.

Jacob Mustian

hey Geoff. I'm a big fan and just became a patron. I figured this would be the best way to ask you a question I've had for a long time. Would you consider doing a bass cover of Marty Robins Big Iron?

Eastana(4 Kraken)

Yes, please. That is one of my son's favorite songs.
