Hi everyone,

Kathy here! (Geoff’s wife 😊)

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks so much for all of your fun questions for the AKA podcast. It didn’t really end up being much of a podcast at all. More like a couch interview featuring two very tired and un-showered parents of a (finally asleep) preschooler.

We ended up getting pretty chatty, so we’ve spared you MOST of the superfluous and nonsensical babblings, and got right to the meat of the conversation. I hope this doesn’t bore you to sleep, as I am also extremely old and boring, just like Geoff. 😄

Hi Kathy, sorry I'm late to the gathering. I'm pretty sure there's no-one in this bunch of VP/Geoff fans that has anything less than ultimate respect for you and all that you do, so I'm guessing 'those' comments were the usual random trolls. You come across as beautiful, talented, a great organiser, successful business woman, loving and supportive wife/mother, all the things. I'm just grateful Geoff claims you can't/won't cook, otherwise you'd be too suspiciously perfect. On top of all this, you not only sacrifice scarce time alone with your husband to talk to us, but claim not to mind the 'appreciation' he gets! Caring for small children makes anyone feel old and weary. Weary you very probably both are, but old you ain't and don't you forget it. Clayton - fair enough :-) If you can bear to go through this again sometime I, for one, would love to hear more from you

I am so late with this but I just had a chance to watch this morning. Thank you so much Kathy, actually both of you, for taking some of the precious alone time you have to do this for your fans. There are so many things that struck me with this but Kathy your last comment of "who am I" is what I have to address - you are the extremely important woman that gave us Geoff's wonderful YT channel & all his wonderful videos as well as the extremely important woman that contributes so much to VoicePlay. Please always keep in mind how much Geoff & VP's fans, especially the Patreon community, appreciate you!

Finally got around to watching this. I agree with Kathy on picking Henry Cavill (not Super Man) but ( The Witcher) Geralt of Rivia. Kathy is right you should defiantly keep the long hair '90s Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) look. Kathy shame on those little girls who said mean things to you. I think you are a very lovely young lady and Geoff is a very lucky man.

Just joined patreon, so a lot of content to catch up to! Really enjoyed this, thank you for sharing this part of your lives with us. As a biologist specialised in cats and a cat welfare advocate, I do feel obligated to say that your cat probably is grumpy because he is in pain due to sore joints. Not nice to hear, I know, but cats are just AMAZING at hiding pain and ilness, so it's totally normal to not notice anything, please don't feel guilty about it. About 82% of cats older than 12y have arthritis, and changes in character are often the only symptoms. Luckily, there are great (and tasty) medications to alleviate the pain and give comfort, so just talk to your vet about it. It could do wonders for mr grumpycat.
