WAY DOWN - BEHIND THE SCENES

Comments

Mythos Myths

I am exhausted just watching this.😎

Tema Krempley

I nearly choked on my salad I was laughing so hard. Thanks for sharing this BTS! It brought a much needed smile to my face.

Cloudy Skies

Geoff: " Can you see my butt crack? " quotes to remember

Pat P

Ow… my ribs hurt… 🤣🤣 Thanks heaps…

Liz Dyson

One of my favourites. It's such a feel good song and an hilarous video.

Jaezrar

Wow, I had a guess this one was quite exhausting to make but I didn't even guess close with how much. I love seeing these though, they are funny and informative on the process itself! Thank you for always making all the effort for the videos, they are awesome!

Sharon Bapp

These are not bloopers they are gems! So much fun! Little William as a pretty good sense of timing and flair already! You’re in for some completion in a few years Geoff❤️

Dame Valiant

Both the actual video and this BTS have now become some choice ''feel good'' dopamine hits! They make me so happy and giggly, I can't keep myself from laughing everytime I listen!! I love to watch them when I need a bit of a pick up! THANK YOU for the sacrifice of so much of your time and patience to the learning of this choreography, it was soooo worth it for us!! XD

Jen

Little man is rewriting the lyrics for him

Emily Dion

Omg so excited to watch after work

Huldra Draco

YES!!!!!!! Thank you Geoff!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗

Tine

Thank you so so much Geoff! That was just incredible! I really loved seeing all that. You put so much dedication and hard work into your videos, this one combining so many of your skillsets and things you've picked up on and enjoy doing. It's wonderful to just feel the fun and joyous atmosphere radiate through my screen, and it shows how much fun you all had, whilst working hard and delivering the standard of quality we have become used to from you. The video is wonderful, but seeing all this, makes it even better! Such joy in my heart after watching this. Thank you for sharing so much with us.

Gillian Drysdale

been waiting for this and was it ever worth it! thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Kristin Taggart

I've been hoping you would do a BTS for this one! Thanks so much! <3

Terry Jasper

You work so hard to bring us such joy! 😅 Thank you!

Susan Smith

This is fantastic! I may never stop smiling.

Angie Woollard

Oh man. This BTS was the perfect combination of everything I wanted to see. I know producing a video like this is a lot of hard work...my favourite part, though, was all the smiles and laughter. There was one shot where it panned over to Eli who had the biggest grin on his face. THAT is the kind of thing I am proud to support here - you making great music while having a blast. You filled my heart with joy today, Geoff. Thanks for posting this BTS for us. xo

Ellen Reiser

I love how much we get to see you smile in this song. We dont get enough of that. I love brooding Geoff, but that smile melts me.

María Gabriela

I'll watch it as soon as I can, omg!! 🖤

Carol Franklin

Was really hoping we’d get a BTS for this did not disappoint. Everyone’s efforts were well worth it what a fabulous video.

Ashbii

Amazing! Thank you for this!! I needed the giggles.

Jordi S

Thank you so much. And THANK YOU for all the work you put into making Way Down . It's so perfectly wonderful.

Patricia Schuman

I consider this a 'video creation' worth paying for! Thank you so much for this!!!

Jordi S

You seriously spoil us 🤣

Tiina Nyrhinen

These are the best! Thank you 💖😄

Hunter

Glad to know my hard earned, toilet scrubbing, floor sweeping, floor mopping, dusting, laundry washing, stocking, all within eight hours is going towards these things. Thanks for making us smile! Never change. Oh, and I always get the phrase: “aren’t you the housekeeper?” ALL the time. Even for doing jobs that aren’t in my repertoire. Oh well. Glad to see the dirty work being represented in a goofy way. Now, onward to toilet scrubbing glory ahoy! Oh, did I mention scrubbing poo stains? No? Okay.

Marlo Schalesky

Was hoping for the BTS on this one. Love it! (William is so cute - way down at the amusement park - that's the way the lyrics should go.)

Snappy

Thank you for sharing this, it's amazing 😁 It's great to see how much fun you all had making this video 🙂

Nerdy Wordy Princess

I was super stressed and anxious today and this video definitely made my day brighter! It was great to see you guys smiling and having so much fun even as you work hard!

Gretchen G

This is so much fun to watch! Love the giggles in the background. And that moment where Geoff is staring at his gloved hand like, "Hang on a second . . ." 😂

MEGAN FEAR

"would it be weird if I told you I want it tighter" killed me 😂🤣😂🤣 thanks for this!!

DnD Addict

Thank you Geoff. Looks like everyone had a fun but exhausting day!

Tracie Schlaak

You definitely are a rock star! Thanks for sharing. Knew there had to be some bloopers!! :)

Amanda Hovendon

Oh my god 😂. Thanks so much for posting this 🤩 P.S I love Layne’s laugh 🤣🤣🤣

Jacklinka

William singing is the cutest thing ever! Please give him a role next time! ❤️

Jacklinka

The question is how you can take off that overall in one movement!!! Incredible!!

Eileen Parkman

That was great! And William singing was adorable! Thanks for the laughs! 🤣🤣🤣💕💕

Jay

"we can see EVERYTHING" 😂

Jaclyn Magee

I enjoyed this so much! Thank you for sharing!!!!!

Suzy Bailey

Thank you, thank you a 100 times, thank you! A BTS was so needed for this one and didn't disappoint. It's really interesting seeing what goes into making your videos and this one had the added bonus of being hilarious. It also makes me appreciate even more the time, effort and hard work you put into them! Well done and a big thank you to everyone who was involved in this fun masterpiece! 😂👍💜

Barbara Binney

Thank you so much for this! I love these BTSs (or is it BTSes?)...anyway...I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for this video shoot. It looked like you guys were having so much fun while also working extremely hard to get everything right. If you have that much fun while working, is it really work? Thank you for all you do. I consider my Patreon dollars well spent.

Rachael Heidi

LOVED this! What a great mood it put me in! You guys looked like you had a blast!!

Shannon D

Thank you for sharing this, what a great surprise! It looks like you all had lots of fun making the video, which makes me very happy to have been able to play a small part in supporting it.

Veronika Troll

This was very fun and entertaining, thank you! :)

Tara Congo

This was hilarious and awesome 🤣 It's always so incredible to get a little peek into all the craziness. Thanks so much, Geoff and Kathy!! What an amazing gift.

Novi Hallberg

Thank you, i needed that after a rough day to put a smile back on my face 🙂 -Who put this glove on my hand 🖐️🤭

Debs Badger

I have been having the absolute WORST day at the plant today, and finally got a moment to take a break, and found this waiting for me. THANK YOU. 💕

Lexy Wolfe (aka Pam)

I have to say, you have given me the best laughs I've had since I lost my husband with this song alone. I rewatch it regularly, giggle at the clones. Been watching reacts and giggling at reactions, especially the reactions to the butt wiggle. And now watching how much work (and love) goes into making these videos. Your son is adorable. Clearly gets it from both of his parents.

Nana Koranteng

I thought there was going to be a blooper in the chair scene where you cripple yourself 😂. But I'm glad you didn't. I think this song has made it in my top 3 super fun and super amazing harmonies! And shoutout to your production team too the effort Kathy and the guys (and others) put into this is insane! the set, the camera work, the lights, the dance moves. This was incredible brother keep up the good work!

Jennifer L. Cramp

This is why I love BTS videos. This was awesome - me thinks me says that too much, but its true. I just realized that Goff reminds me of Dwight from the office. All you need now is a bobblehead - and your stapler in jello. This was amazing fun and helps me appreciate all the hard work you and and everyone behind the camera puts into these videos. This was the chuckle I needed in between assisting CU members with their banking needs. 😊💜

Casi Pohlman

What a great crew! Love the BTS thank you for sharing

Jay Fritz

Awesome--thanks so much for sharing this! Turns out all that practice helped after all. :-)

Melisendre

Thank you so much for sharing this! So funny!

candi lunsford

I just LOVE these. Thanks for sharing this with us. BTW? Your practice paid off because this was awesome!

Ellen L Brownell

Thank you, Geoff. That was really needed today.

Karyn Morrison

That was awesome. I hope the shoot was as much fun as it looked (editing can be a bit deceiving sometimes). It's always interesting seeing the BTS and some of the creative process behind the songs that we all love.

Cindy Barber

Amazing. Especially William at the end. Some much needed laughs for today. Thanks for sharing!

Uli Nomis

Thanks for sharing, i really enjoyed that :D

ObscureReferenceWoman

Oh, that was a trip!! I enjoy these vids so much. I’m up in Michigan visiting my mom, and she is wondering what I’m laughing at! Thanks so much for this, and for letting us appreciate how hard you work to bring us your songs.

Sherry Thomas

Thank you so much for sharing this.... I love the outtakes....sooo funny.

♥️Heather Divine♥️

Thanks for sharing. This was great to watch. Goodness this looks like it took a ton of work to pull together. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Dawn Ours

Thanks for sharing that .. Love it! . So much love to your family !!!! HUGs to your Lady and OMG your Son is Adorable! ok I'll try not to keep freaking out... yeah I don't believe me either. *chuckle. As a Old Elvis Fan, thank you for finding your inner Elvis rather than trying to BE Elvis. I think he'd have Loved you .

SunnyOutlook

Thank you so much for sharing! It adds to the experience of watching and listening to the video. Wonderful song and wonderful performance, behind the scenes as well.

Lady D Richter

This was definitely the best Behind the scenes for sure! It's good for a man to explore a different side of himself! It's been a long while since I worked in a studio, so it is also fun for me to see the technical side of a production, and how much progress has been made. At least the cameras look easier to wear! I always love hearing Kathy's laugh! It's so infectious! I feel like she could be laughing at you, and you'd can't help but to laugh with her! Love you all and your hard work!

Helen A

WoD is the gift that keeps on giving and I LOVE IT! I tried to sneak a look earlier today at work but I had to stop and finish it later because I was trying so hard not to laugh. (I think the close-up butt clench is where I officially lost it.) This looks like everyone had a great time, and it also makes me appreciate all that you put yourself through for our entertainment. 😀

Janet Wright

What a perfect way to describe what they do on a regular basis. Find the inner (insert artist here) rather than trying to be (copy) them. There were a lot of sly little references to Elvis with his hip wiggling and sultry looks, but it was all Geoff.

Janet Wright

But am I the only one that wants a BTS for the clones? Especially Jeff eating whatever out of the dustpan

Suzy Bailey

No, not the only one! So now we need a pt2! For me, seeing him crack up slurping on the toilet brush would be the best! 😁

Amanda Yarbro

LOOL Thanks for the laughs. Love the BTS videos

TheNightShiftDragon

Thank you, this was so fun. And Kathys laugh is pure gold!!!

Bobbi Ellinger

It's so good to see what you all do to get a video ready. Makes me appreciate the final product even more - if that's even possible. Pure Joy! Thank you!

Lori Templeman

So glad I became a patron last month! When you were dropping hints about this video, you had mentioned Kathy throwing things at you, so I was looking forward to spotting those moments. The whole thing, musically and visually is just so much fun! And to quote Cesar in the Bruno BTS where you also did a little booty shake: "God Bless America!".

María Gabriela

Came back here to say: god this was so much fun to watch! Kathy throwing the broom and the glove struggling, love it

Shirley B Karr

This was so fun! Can't help wondering if you guys were on your way to an amusement park, or if that was a not-so-subtle hint from William. Ha! Now sometimes I hear it as "way down ... in the amusement park." The next reaction video YT suggested was from a British gal who had never seen or heard Geoff before, and she pronounced it Jee-off. Jeoph. Yup.

Liz Munro

I’m jealous of the chair walk off - if I did that I’d end up with a broken ankle lol I’m old. THANKS for this BYS

Kenneth Finnegan

Hey Geoff, I don’t know what’s going on. I subscribed to your channel here and I haven’t gotten anything since June 9th. Have you not put out anything or did I do it wrong?

Michelle G

Has anyone else not been charged Patreon fees for Geoff this month? VP one went through but not Geoff's 🤔

Debs Badger

You didn't do anything wrong. Geoff hasn't posted any billable content since May. His last "all patrons" post was June 9th. The only other thing after that was his live chat for his $10+ patrons. He was very busy with VoicePlay stuff in June.

Debs Badger

Geoff's Patreon is 'per creation,' so since he did not put out anything to his patrons in June, there was no charge.

Michelle G

Thanks for explaining. Since the Way Down premiere was in June I guess I got confused between that and the previews we got at the end of May.

Debs Badger

Yeah, it can absolutely get confusing! Patrons get a charge pending (to be paid on the 1st of the subsequent month) when he posts it to Patreon, not when it goes public. So you paid for content published in May on June 1st. No billable content published in June, no payment taken July 1st. It always takes me a moment to think it all through, myself. 🙂

Michelle G

Thanks, it makes more sense to me now 🙂

Shirley B Karr

I figured he was super busy with VP's Running Up That Hill and two minis, plus trying to figure out how to top himself after Way Down. It's going to be a tough act to follow. I have faith he'll amaze and delight us once again, soon.

Sabine W

I feel like I just ran a marathon, I had to pause the video multiple times cause I was giggling so hard I couldn't breathe xD every look behind the scenes is so, so appreciated, thank you for sharing!

Sarah Smith

Kathy’s “OMG that’s obscene!” About your butt had me laughing so hard 🤣
