ZAYRAY!

I can’t wait for this!!!!!!

Dominique

Very intriguing 😊

Emily Zabst

Ghost riders in the sky!!! I can't wait!!

Hunter

Ooh colourful chaos though!

TheMarauders

I understand nothing but i love it! I love seeing processes behind music stuff

Alison L

ooo....wonder if the title at the top of the screen is accurate or whether it's a dummy name to throw us off the scent...

Huldra Draco

Oooooooo intriguing!!! Thanks for sharing, Geoff. Stuff like this is so interesting! 🤓😍

Emily Zabst

I know it's been requested quite a bit so probably not

Celeste Gosling

Can't wait to find out what the "cosmic cruise kick's" are, LOL

Mary Benno

Oh THIS is going to be SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! I already have some funny Blues Bros Geoff’s running through my head!!!!!

Amanda Hovendon

HOLD UP. GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY?!!! OOOOOOHHH THIS IS GOING TO BE LEGENDARY

Jacky Friedman

Wow!!! This is going to be good. Whatever it is. Thank you Geoff for sharing 😊

Debbie Goodling

Ghost Riders In The Sky! Holy crap! 🤯😎 How cool is this!!!

Mikki Fullerton

Horse Gallops and Thunder Claps, eh? Fascinating...

Gretchen G

Glorious chaos! And very colorful and pretty. 😁 And Ghost Riders in the Sky? Oh my gosh, I can't wait!!! I've been hoping for that one! 😃

Jacky Friedman

Me either. Saw that and thought .... "Cosmic cruise kicks? What the heck are you working on Geoff??"

Tine

Oooh very cool to see this. Thank you so much for sharing!!😍 I am very excited!

Rosie Boughen

Not with a recent trio of Minis from Guardians. (And yeah, I’m wondering if he forgot to crop out the title, or Mr. Secretive just let this one slide 🤭)

sylvypanda

I love the song. Can't wait to hear your version

Katie D

Omg I'm so excited!!! 🤩💕

Rosie Boughen

This honestly looks terrifying and complicated to me! But the colors are pretty, and I bet the sound is amazing! (I actually thought it was a pic of a shattered screen at first… whoops!) Looking forward to seeing/hearing what “🟫Gun Hand Shot 1” is, haha! Thanks for the sneak peak, Geoff!

Debs Badger

Excellent. *insert Mr. Burns GIF here*

Jacky Friedman

Amanda.... Didn't see that. Thanks 👍

Rosie Boughen

I’m imagining a high kick, or like a can-can girl kick… I think I’m wrong tho 😜

Novi Hallberg

Oooo ghost riders in the sky! Tries to be patient while waiting 😁

Mia

I'm wondering what style this version is going to be in? Saddle Up has already proven that Geoff does country better than most hat wearers. At least the thunder clap won't startle me like in Monster Mash. Forewarned and super excited 😁

Lady D Richter

Oh, that'll be fun to watch! I've always loved the song as a child, and was excited to find it is from Norse folklore! I'm a viking wife, with a now huge viking child, and love to teach him of his father's heritage.

Jordi S

Very excited here! Trying and failing to be patient 😊

Jacky Friedman

I just watched the one from the Blues Brothers 2 movie. I'll bet you he's doing that one 🤭

Lois McCray

This is so worth getting woke up by Patreon on my phone at 6:40 AM PCT. I have heard both Marty Robbins & Johnny Cash ( yes I'm that OLD :) sing this song, Then again Christopher Lee's haunting bass voice gives me chills. Who knew a Vampire could sing? Geoff never fails to give us all Goose Bumps with his Low Bass covers.

Lutra2732

Wow! 🤩👍Ghost Riders In The Sky! 😀

Christopher Watson

Ghost Riders in the Sky seems like it would be a fun one to do.

Angie Woollard

Likely a kick drum - they get named kind of creatively in the plugins used.

Hana Keindlová

I am hyperventilating, another of my dreams is comming true!! I will just patiently wait now 😊 It's always interesting to see how things are done. For me this looks just like a bunch of colours and crazy amount of work. Wow

Angie Woollard

PS: This doesn't look chaotic at all! Very organized. And DAMN that's a lot of tracks!

Jaclyn Magee

"Horse gallop on gravel" ooooooooooo!!!

Tara Congo

Colour me excited!! And wow, is there ever a lot going on there... Can't wait to hear it!

Jojo Hale

Oooh is this gonna top the Blues Brothers version as my favorite cover of this song? Maybe… Dan Aykroyd is hard to beat. 😂 ❤️

Nana Koranteng

Looks... Complicated. But also Impressive!

Hunter

Kept reading ‘picked’ as “Pickled”, and it took me a whole five minutes to figure out what BGVS meant. SIGGH. I need coffee…

Jennifer Remy

SOOOO EXCITED! I've always loved this song. My dad always played in on road trips ;)

Jacky Friedman

I hope he does their version. It's pretty cool. My favorite of all the ones I've heard.

Stacy Tee

Ohhhhhh such pretty colors!!!! That's about ALL I understand of this, but once again appears to be another G masterpiece as we know and love!!!!!

Kenneth Finnegan

Oh boy, I had my own studio back when we used 2 inch tape and 36 tracks. What you’re doing there my friend is launching a space shuttle.

Cynthia Ross

I am really wanting to hear “Cosmic Cruse Kick”. Sounds like a coffee flavor. 😁

Patricia Schuman

I'm sure that this has been a highly-requested song for you to do. There are sooooo many ways to do this one, and I'll bet that you've come up with a spectacular way that will far exceed my already high expectations, hence Kathy's 'wait till you see what we're working on' comment at the last preview chat.

Kenneth Finnegan

Geoff, are you going to put the crack of a whip in this song? It just screams for it! Right after, yippie aye yo (whip crack) yippie aye yea

Kenneth Finnegan

I know what you’re thinking, most studios are 32 tracks, but we would use 5 tracks for drums, mix them right and then bounce all 5 tracks down to one track. That gives you 4 extra tracks. So we called it 36 tracks.

Barbara Binney

I wish I knew what the fork I was looking at. (Maybe if you did a live chat where you walk us through your creative process? *Hint. Hint*) I'm hoping the title being left in the shot is the correct title and a happy accident and wasn't done intentionally with a wrong title to throw us off track because that would just be mean, plain old mean.

Jill Weimer Koeninger 🐱

I have the feeling that this one will blow me away so far out into the solar system, that it'll be awhile before I come back to earth 🌎.

Jacky Friedman

Charismatic Voice did an interview with Layne right after she watched the Moana Medley. In he explains how he showed this for Moana. Very interesting.

Tom Peavy

Ghost Riders in the Sky…awesome

Veronica Thunander

Oh, that ”soooooon(ish)” is so... 😳 I can’t wait!😊

Amanda Hovendon

Wait were we supposed to read that part?🤭

Suzy Bailey

My Mum loved this and sang it to my brother and I since we were kids. I've seen so many requests for this (and added my own to the pot), so I'm beyond excited to hear what magic you bring to this once it's been Geoffed up! 😀💜

James Wright

YES YES YES one of my all-time favorite songs. so many good memories.

candi lunsford

Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!!!!!!! *swoon

Shirley B Karr

(in my best Meg Ryan impersonation) Yes! Yes! Yes! ::swoons:: I've been hoping you'd do this one. Seems like it was written just for your voice. Can hardly wait to see what fun you've had with the visuals.

Leisa S

All I understand from this is it will be mind blowing 🤯 amazing and I can’t wait to see / hear it 😊🥰

Karyn Morrison

Wow! That shot is so cool 😎 I will need to look at it on a bigger screen, so I can see more details 😁

Anne

Okay, I know I'm tired after a REALLY long day at work. But I would have SWORN that it said "pickled bass" rather than "picked bass", and I literally did spend a minute or two trying to figure out both what a pickled bass would be and what it would sound like. I definitely need either more caffeine or more sleep. :)

Cynthia Ross

lol, I’m hung up on the “Cosmic Cruise Kick”.

Anne

I looked at that too, but just hoped that maybe it meant my vacation cruise was going to be extra nifty! LOL

Keith Hartley

I hope it's the song that the title says it is!

Ilona Dever

I know this will be wonderful, vocally, instrumentally - all of that. My mind is trying to visualize the set and costumes.

Ellen Reiser

There are snaps so it has to be good. 🤪🤌🤌🤌🤌

Amanda Hovendon

Can’t wait to see how this whole thing comes together!

Michelle G

Yay! I've been hoping you'd cover this one 😁 Looking forward to hearing/seeing it.

Rosali Koudstaal

Yeah this is gonna be great. At first i thought this was the song riders on the storm. Reading is difficult🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Patricia Schuman

I was always a big fan of Mr. Lee and loved to hear him sing. I always felt some Christopher Lee vibes with the performance and narration of Monster Mash!

SunnyOutlook

How exciting! This brings back memories of my dad singing it with me when I was a little kid and my mom playing it on the piano. I can't wait to see and hear the final product. Another secret toy surprise to look forward to. LOL!

Gretchen G

Totally unrelated: I wonder which will hit 10M on YouTube first? Sixteen Tons or Misty Mountains? They're both pretty close to it!

Debs Badger

I track the video views, and by my calculations, 16 Tons will hit it first (on Monday), by a day. But I expect Misty Mountains to pass it in views shortly thereafter, as its daily views are roughly twice that of 16 Tons.

Moss

One of my all-time favorite songs - I'm looking so very much forward to this one, Geoff! Maybe even more than 16 Tons! Woot!

Susan Zoe Bella

I see it now! Great choice. I love that you're bringing truly great works back with a modern voice. Very cool! Sixteen Tons, Big Bad John now this. You're an old soul ❤️💜💙💚💛🧡🤍🖤
