Hey there everyone and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 👻

It’s finally the time of year when it’s perfectly acceptable to dress like a maniac, paint yourself from head to toe, and scare people right out of their pants. This is what I’ve been doing year round for the better part of 20 years, so when fall arrives, it wraps it’s arms around me like a familiar hug and I can finally breathe a little easier knowing my neighbors won’t even give me a second glance when I arrive home in my driveway covered in some new fresh hell, and smelling like an old dumpster full of expired cheese. Video shoots aren’t pretty, or fun, but they do allow me the opportunity to explore the more, let’s say, darker, side of my personality. 

It’s cathartic. 

Cathartic but involving a lot of heavy scrubbing.

Worth it.

Speaking of dark, Our Man Jack, isn’t necessarily a psychopath, he’s just out for a good time and if someone happens to lose their head along the way, it was all in the name of a good scare and just for fun. Where’s the harm in a little catastrophic bodily injury among friends? It’s nowhere, that’s where. And that’s why Jack is beloved by millions if not billions of people around the world. His "menace-mixed-with-affection" personality is one of his best traits.

Part of the challenge of recording this song is in the schizophrenic nature of Jack Skellington’s voice. One moment it’s speaking, the next it’s screaming, the next it’s singing sweetly, so in that regard this was quite the kerfuffle of a song to perform, BUT I do believe I was able to bring a certain something extra terrifying to the mix. I hope you agree.

The video you’re about to see is ALMOST complete: There were one or two tweaks that we weren’t quite able to accomplish, but they’re in process as we speak, so although it goes without saying, “PLEASE DON’T SHARE THIS VERSION” with anyone who isn’t you or your undertaker.
