This one seems to be getting a lot of traction out in the wild which is always nice, but there are always the inevitable "auto-tune" comments from the trolls. Just point them here when they come out from under their bridges. 😉

💕💕💕 I saw VoicePlay doing the last concert prior to the pandemic - not counting your delightful jaunt through Panama - and I signed up as a patron as I was in line to say hi and get my picture signed. You lot hooked me HARD. The first song was Elvira, and when you hit that um poppa mau mau on those five foot tall speakers my freakin’ ribs vibrated. I looked at my bestie who had come along, she looked at me and she was like “ok…so…he’s legit AF” The main reason I had went to that show? I didn’t think VoicePlay could do what you do live. I was most skeptical of you and Layne. Particularly Layne. But that last high to low run in Oogie Boogie had me pretty convinced trickery was afoot because I’d never heard that range out of one singer before. Deep notes, sure. Lots of bass singers I could name. But none that could get up high too. I understand people doubting your voice and level of skill. The more commercial performers are chosen, IMO, as much for how they look as anything else. It’s pathetic how few of them are worth anything without electronic assistance. Lip syncing concerts is just about the norm anymore. I actually feel sorry for the trolls - they’ve obviously never heard you in person. (sigh) I know there’s a lot of obstacles (not the least of which is being one man down) but I do hope y’all manage to hit the road again. Look how many came out to see you just do a few songs with Chicago! You know we’d show up in droves for a whole concert.

The same will occur here. The catalog of your songs is the “tell” of the trolls’ error. Their shameful ignorance will increase video viewership and your fan base.

And you're not the only one either, I saw another artist that was told her concerts were recorded so she could dance and sing at the same time. So she had to go live too. There was a reactor that I unfollowed because she said that Geoff must have sang a note and then played his part on a midi keyboard because no one could do it that well. I commented that yes, Geoff does everything that well, and haven't watched anything of theirs since.

So very beautiful. I love you and your voice no matter what you sing or say. My daughter isn't a fan of yours and won't listen to you cause she said it "bothers" her. I'm not crazy about the music she listens to either. But she never says anything except if I ask her to listen to you or Voiceplay. Likewise me with her music. Then it's only "can you not listen to that now?" Or if I'm in my room "can you put your headphones on please?" She's 46 and usually listens to hip-hop, rap and trap music.
