Thinking about creating custom trading cards of my girls as a merch option, but I don't know whether to add flavor text or not. It adds charm and personality but it covers up the art a bit.

Thoughts?

Kirk

Alternate thought, maybe just a small phrase in a free area (maybe under her arm on the right) with just “hop in!”

Mushy64

Having flavor text gives the card some flavor

Sorcerer Henry

I can see people who like your characters being more likely to buy them with flavor text but people looking to just get sexy art being put off by it.

Makes sense, but at the same time I'm not sure how many people would buy them without already knowing or being fans of my work first.

WhiteFang59

Flavor text definitely adds to the charm, especially with them being trading cards

Michael

You could also do a select few without as an alternative version

Nonashu

I can’t help but be greedy and want both.

Donovan James-Cruz

I was thinking both would still be a good option cause I'm sure alot of your fans would wanna pick up both (including me)

Jim the Otter

Could/would these cards be two-sided? Plenty of room on the back for flavor!

Rennox

What if you do both sides of the card one as just the art and the other with text?

Manfredvarg97

The Joey n' Jill combo deck is gonna be cracked as hell 🔥🔥🔥
