how about a monkey’s paw situation? Guy gets a magical monkeys paw and wishes for his wife to be a bimbo. But in classic monkeys paw fashion, it doesn’t quite work out the way he wanted. As she gradually transforms, she becomes more and more insatiable, until finally he’s not enough to satisfy her, and she leaves him to be free and fuck as many guys as she wants, leaving the husband dejected and alone. I feel like this is a neat subversion of the bimbofication genre, where most stories end with the bimbo's partner getting to reap all the benefits of having a bimbofied significant other

I think that's the neat thing about bimbofication. It's kind of wholesome in the sense that it leaves the two partners satisfied with their significant others. In this way, it's already a subversion of most transformation/beautifications stories. My favorite might be couple transformations where the guy hypervirilizes and the girl hyperfeminizes.

I respectfully disagree. While you can certainly say both characters end up “happy,” it’s pretty clearly just wish fulfillment for the male (yes, even in stories where both transform together). In that regard, I don’t think bimbofication is a subversion of anything in the vast majority of cases
