Surprising everyone, Mount Rushmore is getting a "face" lift dedicated to video games! Who are you picking to be the new faces? (can be characters or creators i.e. Miyamoto)

Travis in Fargo

Please rank the following: Super Mario World, citrus fruits, uncles, and privatized space exploration.

SlyCut

Hello all, You can choose one. The ability to travel to distant galaxies. The ability to travel to any time period in the past. (No changing, just observing) Which do you choose?

Michael Rohrssen

did you also believe signatures were weirdly powerful as a kid? I remember this weird movie called blank check and I think it convinced me signatures were the most important thing ever

Travis in Fargo

I adore it when people technically get a phrase wrong, but it still makes perfect sense (ex. “Nip it in the butt” instead of “bud” and “escape goat” instead of “scapegoat.”) I just learned these speech mixups are categorized as “malapropisms” and “eggcorns.” Do you have any favorite examples of commonly misused, but still valid phrases?

Fancygraham

Hey MinnMax, If it wasn’t baked into your line of work, would you be able to not play games for an entire calendar year? Why or why not? Thank you! Graham P.S. If it helps your answer, you’re allowed to play the occasional local party game like Leo playing Mario Party at New Year’s Eve.

Palo

Best grill food? Dogs, burgers, corn? I had shrimp kabobs on the fourth and they're underrated!

Victor Pham

What are your thoughts on the May 2024 Circana data?

Embrace

Question for Haley, did you ever look into that first-ever verdict for cheating in video games is a violation of copyright where Bungie successfully sued a cheat maker? Do you think this will prevent domestically made cheats from happening as often?

DarkFishDays

When you’re sitting you have a lap, but you don’t have a lap when you’re standing. So at what point between sitting and standing is it no longer a lap?

Infinite

With Giant Bomb putting all of Metal Gear Scanlon on YouTube, I’ve been diving back into my favorite old lets plays and super replays. Being many years removed from all of those fun times, what old long form piece of content brings you the most joy? Mine is now and always will be the Blue Stinger SR from Game Informer. Thanks for the fun times then and now.

Thom Blackburn

The scenario is: Sony Microsoft and Nintendo have all decided to make new theme parks based on their first party game worlds. Your job is to decide which 5 properties will be the major locations in the parks. The parks will be on the line between Minneapolis and St Paul! Thanks, Thom

Chandler

Why do they still make children's shows? By now don't we have enough to fill a whole childhood?

JTDenton

Have you ever once thought to yourself "Man, this game would be so much better if I couldn't jump"?

Gabriel Paree-Huff

I was listening to the old Metroid Dread deepest dive and was super surprised to hear how difficult the group agreed it was. I don’t think of myself as particularly good at hard games but I remember breezing through it in a week or two including the speed runs for unlockables. What games have you found not that hard for you, and were surprised when other people felt the games really difficult?

CptCobblePot

Greetings Minnmaxers, Do you tie forms of entertainment to events in your life? I was rewatching Big Fish the other day and it always makes me think of my first son. It’s a father-son movie and it was the first one I watched when he got home from the hospital. I have so many other games, books, and movies that can recall many memories when re-introducing them to my life.

Jesse Eberenz

My partner and I got keys to our first home on July 1. Since then my life has been a disorganized mess of boxes, stressed cats, and many visits to the hardware and furniture stores. This may be the most stressed I’ve ever been. However, it has given me more time to catch up on podcasts, specifically MinnMax. Thank you for all that you do and helping me through this time. Do you have any tips for dealing with the overwhelming feeling of moving? Is there anything you wish you would have known or done differently?

Sam Worms

What is a product related to gaming that always piques your interest? Personally I always get excited when they announce a board game version of a game I enjoy.

Veggie

I watched the final tears of the kingdom trailer again the other day just for kicks and to my surprise it actually made me tear up a bit just like it did a year ago. I think the pacing and the music of it is just really impactful, plus there was so much hype around that launch. My question to you is, what's the best game trailer ever made and why?

Alex Britt

Last week in response to a question, Jacob Gellar mentioned how much it would suck to get twins when you just wanted one more kid. Hey, that's me! I have twins coming in January. My wife and I only intended to add one more to our family. It definitely going to be intense doubling up on everything, but I'm excited to see the twins have each other through those early stages. So related to that, what gets exponentially better when you double something? When is doubles best?

Vindicated

What's a common selling point games have that never sells you on the game?

Sebastian Apolinario

Recently, I realized that MinnMax and FPS are the two main gaming podcasts I listen to. I started thinking that maybe it's because the hosts are around my age. As I went through all my podcasts, I noticed that all the hosts are around my age or older, but never much younger. Maybe I feel that I don't understand or click with the younger generation? Does this mean I’ll be listening to MinnMax (which is good) for the rest of my life? Please help! Can you go into your podcasts and see if you experience something similar?

Kevin Kuper

After last weeks discussion on potentially stolen bikes I had a quick story to share. My freshmen year of college I bought my first nice bike and had it for about 6 months before it was stolen, I did have it locked. The beginning of my junior year I found it in the bike racks by the dorms and since I was working with campus security I called my boss and she cut the lock and I got my bike back! I had it until the end of my senior year and leaving my last class it was stolen again! I never found it but maybe someone thought the bike rack was also trash as it was almost on the curb. Cheers!

Rich

Which cohort would win in a 200m sprint? We know Janet is the queen of long distance but Ben cycles daily and has got those coveted long legs. The dark horse is Sarah because of the whole Sonic thing. If only there was an upcoming event where the cohorts could find out the answer...

Noveze

I've been reading the "famous" GameFaqs writeup called Talking ICO: An Annotation because Jacob sights it as one of his inspirations into gettting into game analysis. In the article it mentions the fact that the writer and a few other diehard Ico fans he knows have only played the game a few times, but despite that ICO can still be their "fondest and fullest memory" of a game. I found that very moving and relatable because I barely ever replay one-off-experience games in my life, yet I have so many that I consider in my favorite games of all time. My question is, what games do you guys have that have affected you deeply and that you really cherish even if you haven't played them that much? I know you're talking about Outer Wilds, and by necessity I think a lot of people will find that game to be their example of this.

Aging_Poorly

Here’s an idea: everybody tell each other the first Smash Bros. And Mario Kart game you played as a kid, and see if you all can guess who each other’s “main” and “second” character was.

Ryan Dodson

Is there a piece of children's media that you still enjoy unironically? I find myself going back to watch old episodes of shows like Avatar the last Airbender.

CrabPalace

I unexpectedly found myself at a Monkey Island themed improv show last week. Which game would translate best to the stage?

BEEFCAKE

I feel like ben should watch more anime cause I think he would love it. It's my favorite thing that I have gotten back into as an adult. Highly suggest fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. If anyone has any other suggestions for anime I would like to hear them. Thanks

PhillyYeetSteak

My parter thinks I'm weird because when I am in a car and have to sneeze, i roll the window down and sneeze straight out. Is that weird? Seems logical to me.

Funky Duck

What's your go-to food when you have a little time for lunch but no motivation to make something?

Pablo Castillo

"It's hentai and it's art " and "Did I stutter?" are my favorite sitcom quotes that I love using in my everyday life (the hentai one is used wholly ironically). Are there any favorite TV or movie quotes that you like to use in your day-to-day?

Travis in Fargo

How would you improve, or otherwise redesign, the Bop-It?

Tess

Do you prefer when a game ends on a power fantasy moment or when it's the hardest part of the entire game?

Travis in Fargo

My earbud just fell out, and I caught it before it hit the ground, and I felt like Spider-Man. What’s a little thing that makes you feel cool?

jacob cummings

Good morning Minnmax! If you had to live in a Fromsoftware world, which would it be? (Let's assume all dark souls are different worlds.) What role would you play? Would you be a cryptic merchant in Lordran? A scholar in Yarnham? A pumpkin head troll in the lands between? Or perhaps even a scantily clad pyromancer in Drangleic? Bonus points for everyone to assign each other a world and role.

Graham Walker

I'm thinking of starting some content creation, like a blog or a podcast. What would your advice be to a fledgling creator with no current platform?

JD Silva

I’m currently revisiting the Spyro games via the remake bundle and am finding that my memories of the games are much better than playing them now. I grew up on Spyro, Jak and Daxter and any 3D platformer Blockbuster could offer me (deep cuts: I-ninja, Dr. Muto, Maximo, Voodoo Vince). The Spyro games specifically feel so small and simple to me now, which isn’t a surprise since I was 7 or 8 when I played them. Kingdom Hearts 1 is doing the same thing for me. What are some games that are better off not returning to for reasons like that? What are some games that hold up just as well as your memories want them to? Much love from Oklahoma City.

Caleb Giovannelli

Have you ever had a game ruined by absurd completionist criteria? If so, what game was it? What was the Trophy or Achievement that broke the gamer's back? For reference, I'm 170 hours into Rebirth, and final Chadley VR missions keeping me from the Platinum have been such a chore.

RickyWinterborn

Do any of ya'll live in apartments and have issues with yelling at video games (cough elden ring) and then realizing your neighbors probably have heard you screaming obscenities for the past two hours...

Qax

What game were you the best at? Cheers!

Fred Dinovo

Howdy folks, Do you have any niche claims to fame? If so let's hear them. Mine is my local paintball park took a picture of me playing nearly 20 years ago and still uses that image in their ads https://imgur.com/a/rry2MUY (I'm in the top middle giving a thumbs up) There's another photo of my friends from the same day they still use. So whatcha got folks??

Stevelution

What is something you miss about gaming from when you were younger? For me it’s instruction manuals and some of the effort that went into their presentation.

Mike Lynch

There's no way to stop it: One of these games is getting a AAA LEGO adaption. Which one has the best chance of being successful while remaining true to the tone of the original. •Disco Elysium •HellBlade •Silent Hill 2 •Manhunt

Jason Wojnar

Last week you were wondering about the different spellings of STALKER. I have the answer. The old spelling, Chernobyl, is russian, and Chornobyl is in Ukrainian. After the start of the full scale invasion, the name of the game was officially changed to "Heart of Chornobyl" and all re-releases of the older titles also changed the spelling and pronunciation to Chornobyl. I recently wrote an article about STALKER and I noticed the editor kept on changing the spelling back to the old style and when I told them Chornobyl is the proper way and it's new official title, they insisted on keeping it the old way for consistency. I had to explain that in this day and age, it's offensive to many to use the old spelling. I won out the argument after a few back and fourths and the "Chornobyl" spelling changed. As for my question, did you ever have to really fight with an editor or higher-up for a small but important detail either while writing or doing a video?

Adam Meran

Just wanted to support Ben’s use of the term “bong load” on last weeks episode. Exhibit A is a dreamy tune with that title by one of my favorite bands, Ringo Deathstarr. Each verse ending with phrases such as “then I tear a, or then I feel the bong load”. https://youtu.be/Nyo5zIEY8_M?si=z7L2Cnbm_C56hw9H

PapawDiesel

I noticed while playing Crash Bandicoot 4 with my son that it's the only game series I can think of that I play with D-pad AND thumbstick. D-pad for the side scrolling sessions (only have to worry about side to side) and thumbstick for the running away/towards screen sections i.e. the rest of the game. Are there any other games you play similarly? Any interesting controller grips or buttons you all use or prefer?

James Welsh

Favorite Yakuza 0 sidequests?

RabidLime

how many pigeons do you think you could carry on an average day?

DJ Tommy Pizza

A while back I went through each episode to see how many times everybody has been on each MinnMax show podcast. With this being (by my count) the 250th episode of the podcast, here are the top 13 most appearances, including today's podcast. (Feel free to turn this into a guessing game for the others if you want 😉) For most MinnMax show appearances, it goes: 1. Hanson (240) 2. Kyle Hilliard (180) 3. JeffM (145) 4. Leo Vader (110) 5. Janet Garcia (105) 6. Suriel Vazquez (80) 7. Jacob Geller (71) 8. SarahPodz (67) 9. Kelsey Lewin (38) 10. Ana Diaz (26) 11. Haley MacLean (21) 12. Jenna Stoeber (10) 13. Michael Huber (7) Bonus fun fact: 36 people have appeared only once

notweirder

I was listening to an episode from last year where leo said he'd keep an eye on jected: rivals' updates through early access to see how it changes. Did he stay true to his word? I found that it hit 1.0 in october and stopped getting updates after that so im not sure if they made any significant changes in that time.

Bon Jon Bovi

Hold your laughter please: I'm a big fan of the much-maligned "out-of-context unrelated voice lines" type of trailer that a lot of JRPGs use. I get a feel for the tone and general subject matter of the story without seeing any identifiable plot beats that'll hang in my mind as I play. I love these things, am I crazy? Are there any goofy trailer tropes that you particularly enjoy?

DylanTheWizard

What's the deal with hand dryers? They aren't sanitary and they take forever. Do you use them or are you like me and just dry your hands on your pants?

Christian Jimenez

Hello! A few weeks ago Haley mentioned having lent a game to a friend(s) and IIRC that friend has had the game for two years! How long do you lend something to someone before you either ask for it back or take it as a loss? Thanks.

LlorchDurden

Hi y'all! I happen to have a very retro 2024 so far on my end so in no particular order. Star Wars: Rebel Strike (2003 GC) Remember Factor 5? 1080º (1998 N64) it's just too good. Some characters ended in MinnMax discord, it's all full circle. Perfect Dark (2000, N64), BUT SinglePlayer (there's enough love out there for the MP). This game is Splinter Cell some years earlier. It's amaaaazing what it does in an N64. It's THE BEST Rare game in the system and I don't care what the Banjo people say <3. Please Ben go live for like an hour so people can see what I'm talking about.

Graham Jones

Hey crew, Every year I love listening to the 6 shooter dual conversation to discuss the games coming out for the rest of the year. But I always wish that these lists could be revisited to see how they aged and to determine once and for all who has the fastest hand in the west... So I got the lists from the last 2 years and ranked them by average metacritic score for your enjoyment: 1. 2023 Janet: 82.8 Oxenfree 2 73 Viewfinder 84 Wrestlequest 69 Alan wake 2 89 Spiderman 2 90 Super mario bros wonder 92 2. 2023 Kyle H 81.1 Pickmin 4 87 Disney illusion island 73 Sea of stars 87 Eternites 68 Cocoon 88 Super mario RPG 84 3. 2022 Janet: 78.6 Cult of the lamb 82 Splatoon 3 83 Stray 83 Mario + rabids sparks of hope 85 Pokemon scarlet 72 Kirby dream buffet 67 4. 2023 Jacob: 77.3 Imortals of avium 69 Armored core 6 86 Goodbye volcano high 82 Lies of p 80 Warrior wear move it 75 Avatar 72 5. 2022 JeffM: 75 Bear and breakfast 72 Cursed to golf 80 Evil west 73 Marvel midnight suns 83 Harvest stella 73 Calisto protocol 69 6. 2022 Kyle: 74.3 Saints row 61 Gothem knights 67 God of war ragnorak 94 One piece odyssey 73 Somerville 71 Planet of lana 80 7. 2023 Leo: 73.16 Exoprimal 67 Bomb rush Cyberfunk 75 Fay farm 75 Payday 3 66 Assassin’s creed mirage 76 Thirsty suitors 80 8. 2022 Ben: 72.8* does not include metacritic score for Arc raiders Live a live 81 Tinykin 78 Arc raiders Dragon ball the breakers 53 Jackbox party pack 9 81 Pac-man world repack 71 9. 2023 JeffM 72.16 Atlas fallen 64 Starfield 83 Super bomberman R2 68 Menecco night market 66 Like a dragon Man who erased his name 78 Persona 5 tactica 74

I’m really disappointed with the lack of coverage of EA College Football 25 by traditional games media. NCAA was the sports game that gamers got excited about due to the depth of the dynasty mode with its competitive rpg like stylings. Why aren’t games outlets excited about this game? Also, this game’s coverage highlighted the lack of actual journalism that happens in games journalism. The Athletic, ON3, and other sports media outlets have had extensive coverage, including more or less confirming the game was happening years ago through Freedom of Information Act requests to colleges. Why don’t games journos try to break stories? It’s basically just Jason Schrier and half of his stuff is “lmao developers are exploited like crazy”

JG

Hi CLCs, upon watching the FFX stream I’m afraid an aspect of Minnmax has reached its tipping poor for me. Hailey’s frequent use of the word ‘spunk’ has always made me shudder but seeing it spread with Ben calling himself “spunktastic” was a step too far. Please get a Brit to explain our colloquial meaning of the word or just look it up (don’t go on images and keep safe search on). Other than that keep up the great work!!!!

TroytlePower (TPPTPPTPwTP)

I'm sure we've all felt the draw of plastic instruments at a thrift store, but let's think bigger! What's the biggest and least useful thing you would impulse buy the moment you saw it at a great price?

Derek Achoy

If you had to change the first letter of your first and last name, what would they be? Please introduce yourself with your new name!

Tom Rickard

Hey folks! We’re about a year out from the release of Final Fantasy 16 and I’m currently playing the DLC. It’s surprisingly not bad and fun to be back in that world! What is the general consensus with you folks now about Final Fantasy 16? Going back to it after completing Rebirth is an interesting experience and I wanted to see if anyone on the team has changed their opinion on the game?

Justin Toledo

Hey there! What is your favorite season to experience in a game? And what games do you think do a good job at capturing the vibes of it? I love fall/autumn in general and a game I think captured it so well was Night in the Woods. Visually, it did a great job at capturing the season but the music and general mood of the game really elevated the autumn season setting.

Jordan Doggett

Is there a better opening for a game than the original BioShock? What other games have incredible opening sequences in your opinion?

Neal McMahon

With the 4th of July just behind us, I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on neighborhood fireworks. I live in a suburb outside of Chicago and it is very common to hear fireworks year-round. I was just curious what the team thinks is normal. I’m sure there could be Michael Mann size gun fight around our town and people would think it would be normal as there are fireworks going off at least once a week. Should there be a non-written rule on limiting year round fireworks? Love the show!

whitemex

What is your go to "whistle while you work" tune? For the longest time I used to whistle the Sanford and Son theme song but lately it's changed to the Mario 2 theme

Jeeo Banogy

Hey MinnMaxers! How much do you invest in protective gear for your electronics? Do you rock a giant beefy case on your phone? Do you pack your switch or steam deck into another case before tossing it into a bag? Or are you just rocking everything case-less and naked? Curious to know!

Seltzer Water

I've never been into card games or deck builders, but during the Steam summer sale, on a whim, I picked up Slay the Spire and have been full-on addicted. Is there any game from a genre you weren't initially keen on that completely hooked you?

Sabai

Hello all! Outer Wilds is my favorite game of all time. My go-to pitch to people while avoiding any and all spoilers is: No game has ever made me feel as many feelings or think as many thoughts as Outer Wilds. So, for lack of better phrasing: which game has made you feel the most feelings and/or think the most thoughts?

MrButtons

Hey MinnMax, After a recent Twitter debate over the cult classic 2006 film Miami Vice, some theaters have been rereleasing the film. I personally love when theaters have the option to see older films or “classics” that you may have missed at the time of their release. What’s one movie you wish would be rereleased in a theater near you so you could experience it on the big screen?

Victor Jesus Moreno

Do y'all have any natural disaster games you play when your area is affected by some crazy events? I just got hit by a hurricane and I'm rationing handhelds over here! I even got my PS Vita out! Help!!!

KevinJ

Isn't it neat how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are named after artists? Suppose instead that they were named after game designers -- which name do think each turtle would get?

RabidLime

how long of a time has to pass before one employs the phrase, "the best [X] since..."? i've noticed a few gaming outlets saying something like "the best soulslike since Lies of P" or whatever... when lies of P only came out late last year. i feel like that's on par with saying "this is the best glass of water i've had since earlier today." is it just sloppy writing?

PJZ64

What is a game or franchise that you've played a lot of and genuinely love, despite knowing that you're very bad at it? I struggle with competitive shooters and often avoid them, but that didn't stop me from enjoying several hundred unsuccessful hours of Overwatch.

Dennis Cortes

How do you all find time to play games between work, trying to stay healthy, having a significant other, and other adult responsibilities? I’m trying to find places in my schedule to play games and chip away at my backlog 🤔 Especially Haley who somehow finds time to play everything people recommend to her haha

Kyle Gartner

If you had to create Suicide Squad from Video Game Characters (cannot say suicide squad the video game characters) who would they be

Mackenzie

Hey y’all! After seeing Godzilla Minus One, I felt like I struck gold finding cheap DVD collections of old Toho Godzillas. There is something so sweet about liking a new movie or video game, and then getting to dive backwards into previous entries. I felt similarly after playing Paper Mario: The Origami King. I’m just wondering, what’s the last goldmine franchise you discovered?

Sean

Hey yall I recently played the original ff7 for the first time and I’m in love with the ATB system. It makes turn based combat so much more engaging than other games I’ve played. What makes turn based combat interesting to you guys? Is there anything you would do to improved turn based combat as a whole?

Charnel

Because of the focus on discovery, Outer Wilds can only be truly experienced once. You can capture that fun again by sharing it with a friend or watching someone else play. I introduced it to my partner and enjoyed it even more vicariously through him. What is your vicarious videogame? The one you enjoy seeing others play now more than you did?

Brad Grenz

Hey MinnMax, We're big fans of fresh cracked pepper in my house. What do food do you think is improved most by a few quick turns of the pepper grinder? For my money I'd have to say the humble fried egg.

thewholehamdamily

I've come to realize recently that I am miserable in my current occupation. I am successful and good at what I do, but I don't identify with it and am finding that, after a few years, I don't think I get much personal satisfaction from what I do. This may be due to my own maturation, my shifting role within the company I work for, or both. Have you ever been in a scenario where you care deeply about the job and people surrounding it, but want a way out? How did you navigate that?

Sincerly, Eric

Hello CLCs! From my time working at Blockbuster I've always enjoyed the art of Trailers and could just watch a series of them all day. With SummerGamesFest behind us and a break between so many Trailers it had me thinking. Assuming Trailers are done by a different department, or to my understanding, sometimes a different company all together. How do you all feel about watching Trailers and Judging a game by it? Through the lens of knowing it will never be the same final product and the fact that it may sometimes be out of a Studios hands. Do you think sometimes Studio workers get disappointed by misleading Trailers? Do you all get hype just watching Trailers?

Devin Atlee-Nutts

Hey MinnMaxers, Have you ever capitalised on an unintended glitch to get past a difficult section in a game? My great gaming shame is that I only managed to beat the final stage of Cuphead's toughest boss because it got stuck in an animation loop and stopped attacking. One day I'll vindicate myself and beat it fairly. One day... Cheers, Tom

Jump On Everything

I feel like we get a lot less videogames based on movies now than we used to so what do you think is a modern movie that could have a great video game

Zae

If you had to replace the ost of a game with a musical artist’s discography, what artist and what game would you pick? I’d throw a metalcore band Silent Planet’s on Elden Ring.

Adam Steen

What is your gaming blindspot? I've been a fan of video games since I got a GameBoy Pocket and Pokemon Blue as a kid. But with so many games coming out I feel like it's easier and easier to never play certain genres. For example, I've never played a Souls or Souls-like game and I'm not sure I ever will. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tokyo Game Life

What’s a piece of gaming trivia you recently learned? I found out that Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma was born Eiji Onozuka and changed his name after marriage. The first game he’s credited as Aonuma is Majora’s Mask.

Chris from Maryland

In honor of Twisters coming out soon, what is your favorite natural disaster (assuming no one dies)? Mine is a tornado, it's one of the few visually unique disasters. Hurricanes are just a more hectic storm (boring!), volcanoes are just natures throw up, tsunamis are a big wave and earthquakes are just big vibrations. Clear winner is a tornado. BONUS question, my wife thinks this is worst ice breaker question. Is it?

LaRay M. Hare

Hey MinnMax Crew, Listened to the most anticipated games of 2024 and waited patiently for someone to interrupt and mention EA Sports College Football 2025. I know you all have mentioned before sports games are a bit outside the wheelhouse of the Cohorts (and Ben) but this is the first in a long dormant series. (Over ten years!) Two part question: 1) Is anyone from MinnMax interested in this game at all? (Even if only for the momentous occasion of its return.) 2) What long dormant series (10 years or more) would you like to see revived? (Feel free to take the question in any direction.) Love the show! -BluMayhem

Duderado

Hey friends, Has a recommendation from a video or podcast stuck with you long-term or has otherwise changed your life? Ages ago on what was either an episode of Replay or the GI Show, Dan Tack talked about using a spread called Brummel and Brown instead of butter. Since then I stopped using butter and only go with Brummel and Brown, and even introduced it to my parents.

Thomas Hoster

With Elden ring DLC out I decided to jump back in and pick up my save. Had just finished Ranni’s quest line I think…. And that’s really the problem. This has been very rough coming back to and getting the swing of things to try and finish the game. I did a similar thing with ghosts of Tsushima and quite a few other game. I’m sure this happens to many of us so what has been the hardest game for you to pick back up? Or how do you try to ease back in to shelved incomplete games.

Neill Smith

Question for Jacob Geller and Leo Vader: how does the Nebula Spotify partnership deal work for you guys since you're on Nebula? Did you get a say in if the deal would go forward at all? Control over if your videos are listed there? Any general thoughts concerns about the partnership?

Jared Piers

Hey Minnmaxers, What moment in your life were you most terrified. Not counting sad scares like 'im scared about my family members health'. Like, ghost scared.

Michael Griffin

Hello MinnMax! What is the most amount of hours you have put into a 2024 game so far? I somehow have over 100 hours put into Balatro!

Bayleaf Moon

What’s up gamers! As someone who for the most part really doesn’t want/like remakes unless the company is Capcom, Bluepoint or NightDive, which games that even if they got remakes you would still play the original? For me I really wouldn’t want to play Xenoblade X on anything else other than the Wii U, Thanks!!

Hi MinnMax! What is your personal favorite album listening memory? Just FYI I'm re-examining my relationship with music and thus forcing myself to checkout new album that I have never listened to. I'm trying to make "a thing" out of it by dedicating a single week to each album and creating the "ideal" listening experience with food, drink, ambience for them
