Thanks to your support on Patreon here, MinnMax has grown into a real gaming outlet and Nintendo invited Ben Hanson and Janet Garcia to the Switch 2 hands-on event in Los Angeles, California. Since it's all because of you, we thought it only fair to share the experience with you all in this travelogue-esque video showing off the event and our time playing Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Welcome Tour, Drag X Drive, and (most importantly) Welcome Tour again. We'll also be unpacking more of our thoughts on this week's episode of The MinnMax Show, which we're recording on Thursday after the Mario Kart World Direct reaction stream at 8am Central.

The better this video does, the higher our chances of being invited to more Nintendo preview coverage in the future so please help share it online - https://youtu.be/tA1qbyzMisU.

Because you're a supporter at the Backstage Pass tier (thank you, thank you), here's your version of the video showing off the full event experience - clocking in at 3 hours! https://youtu.be/fcooF917tRU

I come for the correct opinions and I stay for the comedy. Thanks for consistently making me laugh. 😂 Who knew the Janet and Ben duo was comedy gold!?

Will K.

Watching y'all play the new mode in Mario Kart (which I haven't purchased the past...4 generations of?) has convinced me to preorder the Switch 2. Also I agree DK looks lackluster... doesn't seem platformer-y enough to be a platformer and doesn't look punchy enough to be an action title. Like, pick a lane, DK!
