What review score would Game Informer give this episode of the podcast and why?

Jacob Mazanowski

Hey MinnMax… What the most personal question you can ask someone that isn’t too personal?

Neal McMahon

Hey maxers, How often are your top 10 games of all time shook up by a new game? Personally, my top three games of all time has not changed since 2008, as no new game has ever been able to surpass MGS3 and MGS4. My top 4-10 games sometimes alter every 3 to 5 years, (eg The Witcher 3, Red Dead 2) but it is very rare that my top 10 is drastically shifted. Is it a product of nostalgia or are games just not as good as they used to be?

Jump On Everything

What's the longest you've ever had to go without sleep, voluntary or otherwise

Fancygraham

Could you pull off an entire year of discussing games that didn’t come out in the year that you’re currently in? Follow up question: would you even want to do that?

Travis in Fargo

If someone said “tell me about yourself,” but you couldn’t speak, write, or blink in morse code to communicate - you only had the full library of video games ever made - which game would you hand them to give insight into your soul and personality?

Infinite

If you could make any FromSoft game a first person game, which would you pick and why?

Sam Worms

Hey y’all - not a question, I wanted to give a shoutout to the Minnmax community. I was recently laid off and posted about it in the discord. Not only did I get some wonderful advice and support, someone asked for my Linked In and said I could connect as a reference. I just want to say thank you to everyone and I really love genuinely feeling like I’m part of a community here. You all rock.

Mark Garcia

Greetings Ben and the Computer-Loving Cohorts, I address you in such an old-school MinnMax way because this question is based on a deep cut from MinnMax lore. Some of you may recall that in a MinnMax episode from 2022, Ben Hanson was ridiculed for suggesting that you could use shampoo as body wash/soap. While combing through the TikTok channel of influencer Elyse Meyers, I came across one of her TikToks where she refused to endorse any full-body acne medications and instead offered a simple solution that had worked for her full-body acne: washing your body with Head and Shoulders shampoo. Ben, feel free to take a victory lap here while the others both bask in your glory and learn to never doubt your wisdom again. This also made me wonder: do any of you have life hacks where you effectively repurpose a particular product to achieve a task that is outside of its intended use? Some examples include using Coca-Cola to clean corroded car battery electrodes or using white toothpaste to clean dirty white sneakers?

Neal McMahon

How bright do you have your phone normally? My wife always keeps her phone on the very brightest setting and I think that is a waste of battery. I usually like to have mine around 60% brightness and she thinks it is way too dark. How about you? Please help me solve my marriage problems.

Travis in Fargo

What’s your favorite New Zealand comedy folk duo?

Tommy Carver-Chaplin

Hi cohorts. Can you tell me definitively what a strand-type game is please?

Luca Alberti

Hello lovely cohorts! Two simple questions, place your wagers: what game will sell more in 2025: Drag X Drive or Marathon? What will have the higher Opencritic score? No release = DQ.

Victor Pham

Have you had the best day of your life already?

Stevelution

Hey MinnMax and Tamoor! The upcoming Switch 2 launch has got me thinking about my favourite console launch game. I think the one I probably enjoyed the most was the GameCube and Luigi’s Mansion. As a lifelong Mario and Nintendo fan it was so exciting to play such a unique spin on the Mario franchise and get Luigi as a main character. What are some of your favourites?

RynaGoGo

Howdy MinnMax. What instrument is your steering wheel? I jam out in the car and usually Im tapping along to the song. Drums are the easy answer, so besides that I’m usually playing along with the piano parts.

That's Mildly Raven

People won't stop talking about getting lost in Clair Obscure. Is this the evidence that yellow paint advocates have been waiting for?

Dill Pickles

Howdy folks! What’s the least you’ve ever spent acquiring a game? (Excluding free games, review codes, etc.) Keep up the good work y’all!

CptCobblePot

What’s the fun fact you always use when asked that dumb question in new groups? By the way, mine is that I was one of the first kids to try Burger King’s reworked fries back in the early 2000s. (I have a newspaper to prove it!)

Treethan

What is the worst jrpg yall have ever done played?

Kelso

Hey guys! What’s your favorite movie poster of all time? Love the podcast keep doing what you guys do!

Connor Hale

I saw that Elden Ring: Nigthreign can only be played solo or in a trio, no duos allowed. I feel like that makes it hard for people who either have just one person to play games with or full squads of four or five. Reminds me of the Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire game I played with my brothers on the Gamecube that had a max player count of 3. Can you think of any other games with an odd player count limitation?

Catpurrnicus

Hey MinnMax crew, you know the ice breaker question "if you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be"? Before they can finish the question I always yell "living". Do you have any jokes you keep ready in case a common scenario comes up? Like if you lose power and the lights come back on you would yell "My Pearls!?!".

Game Club

Hey, MinnMax! With Summer Game Fest quickly approaching, are there any unlikely reveals you'd like to see announced? I've been hoping for a comeback of Banjo-Kazooie (not Nuts N Bolts) although I know it's highly unlikely!

Chase Ruppert

Hey BinnBaxs, Do you have any strong album and/or song associations with a specific video game? One of my favorite bands just released a new song. (Loathe - Gifted Every Strength) and I link it to Expedition 33 for some reason. The riff and chorus just has this specific feeling that connects with the story of expedition 33.

Hemizan

Hi all - I’m heading to Tokyo for a week later this year. What are your recommended places, experiences, etc. to check out? Gaming related or otherwise. Thanks!

Trace Kromminga

Hello CLC's, I recently read Saga #72 and noticed that one of the answers for the readers survey in the back about Taylor Swift's Eras tour was from a Kyle H. from Minneapolis. Kyle, was this you? Does anyone have any ongoing comics series they are really into right now?

JG

Hey CLCs, any chance of a max spoilers on The Rehearsal S2? That finale was genuinely one of the best works of art I’ve ever seen (equal to Psychodyssey for me), so I hope it will also come up during the awards later this year!!! Remember: If you’re here, you must be fine.

James Carr

what’s up MinnMax and Tam, with the recent parry discourse, do you think there are too many games with parry mechanics and what makes a parry mechanic a stand out for you?

Frostphorus

Anyone checking out Tainted Grail?

Chris Fantry

Hi MinnMaximos and Tamoor! I was wondering if you think we are in an turned based RPG Renaissance. Clair Obscura, Metaphor, Baulder's Gate 3, Persona 5 and Like a Dragon have done well. Do you think we see Final Fantasy give it another AAA shot with something more akin to their active time battle system, classes, world exploring, etc?

L Stockler

Hi, Minnmaxers! Doc Lightining 2025 is airing this week, isn't it? I've already submitted my entry and I'm very excited to see all that the community has to share. If you were to submit a short doc for it, what would it be about?

Emmett Watkins Jr.

Come together and decide on the top 5 most consistent game franchises. By this is mean series in which every entry is equal in quality, no matter if they're all good or all bad. Its up to yall if you wanna include spin offs or not. A few suggestions to get the ball rolling: Battlefield, Ratchet and Clank, Lesure Suit Larry, Uncharted, Halo, Gears of War, Madden, FIFA, Elder Scrolls, Pillars of Eternity. Excited to see what you all come up with!

Chris Fantry

Tam, what is your favorite ridiculous thing from the Metal Gear Solid franchise and why? Cohorts, what are yours?

resnet

Hey MinnMax! You meet someone who you really like but they have never played any video game. They are curious but have some reservations. They finally agree to try just one game and you feel excited but also pressured to represent the medium well. Which game would you pick?

Kyle Silva

A few months ago, Sayonara Wild Hearts dropped an update exclusively for PS5 which offers a Remix Arcade mode that actually makes use of the PS5’s hardware since it shuffles you in random 5-second bits of the game’s levels, without any loading in between. Since we’re a week away from a whole slew of games having console specific next-gen updates. Which past gen game needs just some touch-ups with PS5/Switch 2’s updated hardware that goes beyond performance/resolution?

Thom Blackburn

How many pew pew points did this episode cost to make?

A.J. Minotti

Hey all, so Nintendo announced CRT filters for N64 games on the Switch 2. Do any of you actually use/prefer CRT filters when playing or emulating retro games?

Tom Brien

Do you remember any good audio commentaries from the DVD days? They're like the original podcasts! I used to be really into hearing about Iron Man 1, and Shaun Of The Dead.

pork bun powered

Hi MinnMax + Tamoor! Be honest, how are we feeling about the Alex Garland's Elden Ring adaptation? Do we think it'll even come out? What's your bold prediction?

Gàlaron Shuri

What's the worst game you've enjoyed playing?

Obruni

Hi all. What’s the greatest moral panic of the 21st century?

Derek Achoy

What’s your favourite flower?

Brian W

Is kazooie a sidekick or a main character?

Hello all, Whenever I am drinking from a bottled beverage, I always have to have the front of the label facing me. I will turn it to face me before taking a sip. I've done this since I was a kid. I don't even think about it, I just do it. Am I nuts!?

I_Am_Magnus

Hello Minn and Max! I'm playing through Chants of Sennaar at the moment and loving the way it's making me learn the different languages. Partially inspired by Ben and Jacob's trip to Brazil, do you have a memorable moment from being in a foreign country and having to piece together what someone is saying using context clues?

Adam Brungardt

One of my favorite YouTube channels is Death Battle, a show where two fictional characters of similar ability or themes are pitted against each other in a fight to the death. Are there any characters you can think of that would make for an interesting matchup?

David Dubs

Hey Gang! Congratulations, you’ve all been invited to the first annual MinnMax summer cookout / backyard bbq. What signature dish is each person bringing?

Jared Lloyd

Q:What’s a game that’s tied to an important moment in your life? For me, I’ll always remember cuddling with my dog while playing Pokémon Shining Pearl, shiny hunting Palkia. I even managed to snap a picture without waking her up. Now that she’s gone, it’s a small but joyful moment I’ll always associate with my shiny Palkia, and that photo brings it all back! Bonus points if you’ve got a photo to share! Thanks!

Aging_Poorly

When I was a kid, I didn’t wear sunglasses because I thought they were reserved for cool teenaged lifeguards, and I certainly wasn’t cool enough to pull them off. What used to symbolized “cool” for you when you were a kid?

DubZe27

Hey, I remember when Clair Obscur highlighted that it would have a world map in the Xbox showcase and thinking nothing of it. Funnily enough, I would later play FF16 and felt like the selecting of areas to be so boring and honestly made everything feel so disjointed. Unsurprisingly at this point, Clair Obscur was right to include it and point it out. What overworld maps stand out to you and are there any that enhance the game in ways you didn’t expect. I think Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair would be one for me. Thanks all, Dubze27

Arturo Perez

Hi Minnmax! What are your favourite eating cutscenes/moments in gaming? Mine for sure are the ones from Monster Hunter!

Limp Bizquick

Inspired by Janet hating on Lake Michigan in the newest episode of Pew Pew Bang (probably 5 seconds of a 4+hr long podcast) what’s something popular from your hometown that you DON’T like?

Badmonsterman

Hey maxxers, what’s the first game y’all ever played with a friend? And how often do y’all think about it? Gaming for me is a mix of social interaction and then me isolating myself. Sometimes it’s nice for me to remember that games can be played for and with friends.

Andy Weas

Hey MinnMaximus! With Xbox moving more multiplat and leading the charts with games like forza, Indiana Jones, etc what future do you see for their hardware outside of handheld? My moonshot is seeing them moving to a more premium “PC-lite” set up where you can upgrade parts of hardware like memory or add power with additional Gpus like ROG does. Would love to hear the cohorts take on where hardware goes now that Xbox is centered on a software first business model.

Michael Archer

How does hype transform your view on a game? For example, I've recently finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and I only started it after I saw the glowing praise it was getting from reviews and players alike. After finishing it, I can confidently say that I liked it!...but the hype around it really made it hard for me to finish. It was with this that I noticed that when something is gaining a tremendous amount of praise from every facet, my critical brain goes into overdrive to try and see if it is as water tight as it's perceived to be. Does massive amounts of hype bolster your enjoyment of something or does it make you overly critical? How do you deal with this as a critic trying to pen something fair and balanced?

AnAttackCorgi

Hello MinnMax Crew! Instead of a question from us, do you have a question FOR the community?

Vilis

My Summer Games Fest prediction is Larian Studios gives a glimpse of what they're working on.

LlorchDurden

SMG crazy predictions!! in no particular order - Expedition 33 sequel - Nintendo Direct during SMG - Sean Murray showing Light No Fire (again) - This new Ubi thing but it is just a logo - Beyond Good and Evil 2

Linktrev

Hey Gang! With GTA6 dropping next year, I’ve been wondering does free roam crime still hit the same in 2026 as it did in 2013? When in between missions or just messing around, committing crime to evade cops for fun felt exciting, but now it just feels off. Is that just getting older, am i alone in this, or are we moving past violence in games for violence sake?

RickyWinterborn

What's better a new crispy fresh t-shirt or your most worn-in old shirt?

Brody Weller

Should stinky cheese be banned?

Cath

Can you name a game starting with every letter of the alphabet? ( like a for anima crossing, b for baldurs gate etc..)

Jordan Watson

Hey MinnMax, with the Elden Ring movie news - I’d love to hear Tamoor’s full casting list! Every single character. Much love (in a non parasocial way)

Zae

What are you doing with your switch 1? I planned on selling mine originally but I talked to my wife and my son might like it when he’s older and playing games. Normally when I get a new system I get rid of the old one because I can’t see myself playing the old one anymore.

John Larson

Who had the better spouse turned into a weapon, Nathan Spencer from Bionic Commando (his wife Emily became his grapple) or Red from Transistor (her husband is her sword)? If you had to be turned into a weapon for your significant other, what would you be turned into and why? I’m 6’6 so I feel like a Greatsword but my fiancee is 5’2 so I’d have to be something smaller for her to wield.

Chris Pelley

Will any of the major SGF shows, or even trailers, mention AI (potentially as a selling point but it will feel gross)?

Dennis Cortes

What do you all hope Nightreign will improve on when compared to Elden Ring? Anything you hope they actually remove instead of add to the game?

Tony Mayato

Howdy crew from way too damn hot Florida. I have a very simple question, in honor of 100 men vs 1 Gorilla, who do you think would win in a fight: 100 Hansons or 1 Donkey Kong. Bonus question, is there any video game character 100 Hansons can beat?

Tess

What combination of snapping, whistling, rolling your tongue, and, wiggling your ears can you do?

SenttheProphet

With the rumored handhelds from both Xbox and PlayStation in the works, do you think the Switch's (1 and 2) competitive edge is starting to fade? If Microsoft and Sony can release handhelds that seamlessly sync with their home consoles, that would close one of the biggest gaps Nintendo has been able to capitalize on. the hybrid experience. At that point, Nintendo’s main differentiator could come down to its exclusive titles alone. I could see Sony and Microsoft pushing a dual strategy: a high-powered 'Pro' experience at home, paired with a more streamlined but connected handheld option on the go. And that might put pressure on Nintendo to completely reimagine the next evolution of the Switch, maybe something as bold as the Wii was after the GameCube. Could we see a more experimental approach, like augmented reality controls in a potential 'Switch 3'?

Luis Pérez

You're now stuck eating only one different dish per meal for the rest of time. What's your choice of breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice cream flavor?

CrabPalace

I can't think of an announcement that would get me hyped at SGF. Am I old and dead inside, or have hype cycles and great indies started to change the way we look at big game conferences?

Sincerly, Eric

Balatro and Vampire Survivor are two Indie titles that had a lot of success followed up by a lot of atfempts to copy that success from other Indies. Do you all think that at any point the attempt to copy success will branch upwards to AAA Studios trying to replicate an Indie? With Expedition 33 being a massive success and some people saying it is what Final Fantasy 16 should have been. Do you think Square Enix is going to pivot at all for any future game? Has a Triple A ever followed in a Successful Indies footsteps?

Mason Parker

With all the talk of ufos these days, what are the best Aliens in video games?

CaffeineDad

Hey gang! Aftermath is experiencing a civil war through a pair of articles on their website, and you’re all being forced to join the fight. Are you pro-parry or anti-parry in video games? I personally LOVE parries in fighting games, avoid them at all costs in action games, and embrace Perry the Platypus whenever I get the chance. Links below (I cannot believe these URLs are real): https://aftermath.site/parrying-good https://aftermath.site/parrying-bad

Game suggestion: It's Switch 2 Launch week! As of the Switch 2, Nintendo will have launched 14 systems (8 home consoles, 6 portables) in North America. How many launch day games can you name? Go around the group with each person naming 1 launch game for each console. Once someone can’t, they are out for that round. Winner is last man standing. Repeat for each round. (Alternatively just see how many you can name for each collectively). North American games line ups are used. Credit to Game Rant and IGN as sources for these lists. If MinnMax were in charge of developing the ultimate video game controller from the ground up, what would your design be like?

Victor Hensley

Hi y’all! The 8.5-hour travelogue of Ben & Jacob’s trip to Brazil — which is 8.5 hours of pure gold, by the way — had me thinking: What do you think is the lengthiest single piece of media you’ve ever consumed?

What is the funniest thing you did today?

If you were to rip one game mechanic from a completely unrelated game and put it into another, which combination would be the most interesting?

Devin Atlee-Nutts

Hey MinnMaxers, Ben was rightfully ridiculed when he showed the world he didn't know how to hold a fork in an Ikea cafeteria. As a Brit, I contest that y'all Americans universally use cutlery inefficiently. I'm sorry, it's not your fault. Can Tamoor kindly instruct our wayward bretheren how to properly use a knife AND fork. Yes, simultaneously!

Devin B

Is there a game you'd love to get into, but won't because you know it would be a net negative on your life?

The Sleepy MailMan

Hey y’all! What lessons do you think the games industry should learn from Expedition 33’s success? What lessons do you think they’ll ACTUALLY learn?

Boondock-Bandit

Hi all, There’s probably already an answer somewhere, but how did Ben (or whoever in GI) create the format for the rapid fire game interviews? It still feels unique and fresh every time. But more importantly, are you a good sport?

Eliinspace

Somehow you've just been hired as the casting director for the new live action Mario movie. Who do you cast as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Toad?

stairmaster_

If you were given a blank check to have a game format set up for you to follow and complete in real life (such as a Zelda-style adventure, a platformer, farming sim, kart racer, etc), what would it be? It doesn't have to be a solo experience.

Qax

How do yall feel about Rollercoaster? What's your fav? My younger coworkers don't really like them and I found that kinda odd? Are the youth uninterested in mechanical thrills?

Who has the biggest wishlist, Steam or otherwise? I'm close to 900 games on my Steam wishlist.

Hey everyone, what is the correct number of ice cubes for a drink? And just to keep you from tying yourselves in knots with this question, let’s say that you’re about to drink a pint glass of whatever beverage you choose on a 70 degree day in early summer.

Trapezoid

What the hell is going on with Amazon?! We’re just over two weeks away from the Switch 2 launch and they don’t even have a page up for it?! They were my last hope at getting a pre-order, but that’s seeming less and less likely at this point!

What mount in a video game would you love to pull out of the digital world and ride in your everyday life to accomplish basic errands in the real world?

Is Ska good or bad?

Hey Minnmax crew! Have you ever found yourself sympathizing with the villain in a video game? Has there ever been a time where you wished you could side with the villain at the end of a game instead of fighting them?

The Rehearsal Season 2. Can I please get Ben and anyone else's thoughts on this season, and your reactions to the mind boggling finale? This season was the most riveting and entertaining thing I've seen on TV in a long time.

Hey All, If you woke up with a super power, would you go around and tell everyone, or would you Clark Kent it ??

Hey CLCs! Writing in with a quick BetterQuest goal! I've just finished up this semester of classes (I did great, thanks for asking!), and found that I had lost any sense of "balance" in my life. The last few weeks of classes were packed with me sequestered in my home office nearly every hour of the day working on projects while my wife took care of everything else. No, my goal isn't to help my wife more, that is baked into our marriage! In cramming so much for school I did not have time for friends or hobbies, I was just too busy. But now that the semester is over, I am setting my goal to once again ask Kyle Hilliard every time he is on Community Questions if he has finally found the time to watch The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. I think i only missed one time in my school crunch, but now that I am able to refocus on my priorities I hope not to slip up again! Alternatively, if Kyle can assure me that he will let me (us) know that he has watched it, and what his thoughts on the film were I will stop asking too!

Jarell Pryor

Hey CLCs, What was your favorite meal this month? Delicious food? Great company? Fun occasion?

João Rodrigues

Hey hey folks! I've always found it pretty unique that games are for the most part the only long-form visual media that is released in its entirety all at once. This came to mind with this week's season finale of The Last of Us. Without getting into spoilers, The Last of Us Part II has a very clear turning point about halfway through. In the game, the player moves on and gets to see that second half, the game keeps its momentum and the structure works pretty well. On the other hand, the show has just been left on a massive cliffhanger that will only be picked up in 2+ years. My partner already wants me to tell her the rest of the plot because she doesn't feel like waiting. Other big games like Red Dead Redemption 2 also benefit from this structure, it's like the entirety of Peaky Blinders just dropped on Netflix one day. This lends video games a structure closer to a novel, and allows the player to go on a journey in a way that really isn't possible to do in other visual media. What are your thoughts on this unique trait of the medium? In what other ways do you think this format benefits or hurts videogames? Thanks!

Hi Cohorts, Given your place as a fully independent games media outlet I wanted to know what responsibility if any games media(and media in general) has to convincing the audience that their work has value. For context, with the number of games media outlets shutting down or significantly diminished in just this year I have seen some amount of celebration on the Internet of people unaware of what is being lost. Do you think that the fact that Minnmax has so much more direct interaction with the audience change how the work is perceived in comparison to other outlets ? Love what you guys are doing here and look forward to all of the upcoming content.

I usually watch or listen to content at 1.5x or 2x speed and can follow most people just fine. But I had to slow down for Dan Ryckert in Ben’s last interview—I could NOT understand him for whatever reason that interview. Do the CLCs ever think about turning on a 'podcast voice' and being more conscious of clarity, pacing, or breathing?

Hey MinnMax! Can you give us a pickup line? Thanks!

Hey Minnmax, if video game characters really existed, and you could pick two characters to have dinner with, and you could ask whatever questions you wanted, which two would you pick?

What are your favorite local/regional fast food places? There's this tiny chain in Arkansas that I discovered when I visited there called David's Burgers. They have like three restaurants and the food is absolutely incredible. I know there must be more hidden gems out there.

Hey Minnmax, I have a game, can you arrange these video game characters from shortest to tallest based on Google AIs answer. (Or just guess the height whichever you prefer) Kratos (Norse era) - 6'4" Kratos (Greek era) - 7'8" Kirby - 8" Mario - 5'1" Master Chief - 6'10" (7'2" in armor) Bayonetta - 5'10" Steve from Minecraft - 6' Ratchet - 5' Sonic the hedgehog - 3'3" Aerith - 5'4"

Is there an activity that you have the completely unfounded/unproven belief that you would be good at it? for example, I think I'd be pretty decent at podcasting even though I have zero experience talking on record for hours at a time

Tamoor! Super happy to see fighting game representation on MinnMax. Can you explain to the cohort what 'Throw Loops' are in Street Fighter 6? If you want to add some fun, the cohort should come up with a collective definition of a 'throw loop' just based on the words 'throw loop' and see how close you get to the actual definition of.... 'throw loop'. By the way, I loved your Get Good video on Street Fighter 6. Hope there's more content like that at GB in the future!

Hey all, what are your thoughts on bosses with multiple phases? I feel like I’ve begun to find them more and more tiresome as the years go by. Seems like the shock value of a boss’s health suddenly reloading and having to keep going has lost all its novelty and now it just becomes annoying. I guess I don’t mind the boss evolving shape or tactics as the fight goes on, but I think it should be all on one health bar. Thoughts?

If one game or game series were to never have existed, which one would change the current gaming environment the most?

What's a game that you don't understand the praise for, and think they're overrated? Likewise, what's a game that you think is vastly underrated compared to the criticisms it received?

No question, just wanted to rejoin the patreon for the Exhibition 33 Deepest Dive and to let you know that whenever I drop my kids off at school I loudly & proudly proclaim "Be Good, Have Fun, Let's Go!" Smiles all round ☺️ Thanks for doing your part to make the world a better place guys, don't let up ❤️

Hi cohorts! What are your GOTOYs so far in 2025? (Games Of The Other Years, obligatory shout-out to Into The Aether podcast) It's been such a loaded year for new releases and with Switch 2 about a week away, have y'all even had time to visit your backlog?

Hey MinnMaxers and Tamoor! What do you think is the hardest game to explain the premise of to someone who doesn’t play video games?

Brent Carroll

Hey cohorts! What was your earliest memory involving video games?

Missed joke opportunity for Sandfall Interactive: Instead of having a parry (P-A-R-R-Y) button, they could've had a Paris (P-A-R-I-S but pronounced the French way) button.

Ok, here’s a random hypothetical for the crew- Which would you rather explore: a single day in history (your choice), a single day in the future (your choice, can be vague like “my wedding day” or “when my kid graduates high school”), or a single day (today) in an alternate reality where your friends and family never met you?

Is there any game you love but fear you may never be able to play again? At PAX East, I was elated to see the release of Power Stones 2 in a new fighting collection—my favorite 4 player fighting game of all time, but one I haven't been able to play in over a decade, and feared I would never play again.

Hay MinnMax! With all of you playing so many different games how do you deal with Game dysphoria? For example I have been playing Nightreign, Expedition 33, and FB Khazan recently and I frequently mess up the parries, dodges, and attacks when trying to switch between games. These are similar mechanics in similar games on different keys like light attack in FBK is the same button as heal in ER and the parry in 33 is right bumper instead of left bumper in FBK. A similar thing happened last year when playing Stellar Blade and Elden Ring SOTE with a friend and I would miss dodges or hits thinking and it messed up a lot of runs.

Hello MinnMax! The Summer Game Fest has gotten some lackluster reviews for the content for the show and folks and publishing outlets have even suggested that this is indicative of problems within the industry. While I am curious on your thoughts on this, my real question is what you consider to be the indicators, metrics, tea leaves, etc. about the state of gaming and the industry? Do signs point to sunny days ahead or 'try finger but hole'?
