Hi Minnmax crew. Is game length a spoiler? A few weeks ago when you guys talked about Shadow Labyrinth. Jacob mentioned it was about 30 hours to complete. I try to stick to playing one game at a time but every once in awhile the stars will align like Death Stranding 2 and Donkey Kong Bananza did for me. The Fallout TV show saw an increase in Fallout 4 players and we all saw what Andor Season 2 did for the Battlefront 2 community. On a trip to the US we were doing a bit where we tried to get a look at my SIL supposedly awful passport photo, wr finally got a look at it when she had to show US customs and she defensively blurted out "that's not me!" What's a game you just can't or struggle to play for personal reasons completely outside of its merits as a game? My sister passed away in her 30s when I was around 20 after a heart attack. After slowly getting back to a normal life as much as I could I decided to pick up Portal thinking it would be a good game to get stuck into and immersed in solving puzzles about as a distraction. However when you die in that game you just drop dead and the screen goes red, something about how abrupt this felt was just too much to deal with at the time. So yeah thanks for everything you do and hopefully look forward to hearing your answers.

If you could shape shift into any one video game character, including any powers/abilities they have, who would it be? Not necessary to include, but just to clarify, the shape shift would be quick and you can do it as many times as you'd like, back and forth between them and your normal self. Also, if you change into a character that has transformations, then you have to expend the same amount of effort that they do in order to transform into that form (I.E. you need to go through the same stuff that Goku does in order to go super Saiyan. Although just transforming into normal Goku is extremely easy)

Hey crew, What is a mechanic in games that screams “This is a video game!!” but you’re still totally fine with it because it makes the experience so much more streamlined or generally more enjoyable? It’s a very small thing, but I was recently playing the demo for The Adventures of Elliot that Square Enix just released and noticed that the bubbles above NPCs heads would be greyed out and a red checkmark would appear there after you had talked to them and exhausted all of their dialogue options. A simple touch that I’m sure is not necessarily unique to this game, but it was a comforting feeling to know easily that I had “cleared” each early room as I progressed. Keep up the good show! After almost 10 years in my adored Los Angeles I moved to Philadelphia (Janet, you are in charge of the city now). Boy, I never realized how much my collection of figures, amiibo, LEGO sets, gaming paraphernalia, consoles, etc, grew in those years and I tend to keep the boxes (telling myself would be safer to move that way, avoid possible damages, and many other rationalizations). My original collection back in Venezuela followed similar rules. I ended up moving about 50 boxes ranging from small to medium filled with all that. So: do you guys keep or discard the boxes? Do any of the cohorts have any dietary restrictions and how do you stay positive having to deal with it? I was diagnosed with Celiac disease recently and it's been weird navigating around a very gluten heavy food focused environment (in the US). Hi Ben and the cohorts, minnmax is still the best and most funny podcast around. I never wrote in a podcast before but i was curious about something. I never really got into Donkey kong and i tried a lot of the games. Now i played Donkey Kong Bananza and i absolutely love that game. The game is still a platformer but with all the destruction the game feels kinda like different genre too. My question is if there is a game series you didn’t like but when they changed the genre of the game in the sequel you totally loved it. Keep doing what your doing
