How long does it take a game to click with you? Not just in the sense that you are grasping the gameplay mechanics but that moment when everything comes into place and you can really begin to judge if a game will be a personal all-timer. For me, I thinks it’s around 2-3 weeks.

Travis in Fargo

When was the last time you literally got your hands dirty? What were you doing?

Seneca Kier

My girlfriend is a big “cozy management” gamer and absolutely adored discounty, even as it started to get more and more sinister. What type of business would you choose to quietly use to destroy the natural economic ecosystem of a small rustic town?

What are the greatest video game heel turns and face turns of all time? This is a hard mode question because wrestling terms,

What genre feels like it should be for you but you just can’t get into it?

Hi! Be honest, do you guys remember Hollow's Knight story? I sure wish I did

Boondock-Bandit

Hi all, IO Interactive is giving unlockable cosmetics to 007: First Light based on the Steam wishlist numbers. Is this really cool, or really not cool? I’m somehow fine with pre-order exclusive skins, but this system feels ickier somehow. (Full disclosure, not familiar with the Steam wishlist system at all.) Thanks!

We had the year of Luigi, 2025 is the year of the ninja... What is next year's subject that you wish to manifest into existence?

Joey Lippert

Hollow Knight is still sitting at 111/112% for me despite being my second favourite game of all time. This final percent is so terrifyingly insurmountable for me that to prepare for Silksong (since the release date announcement) I did not go back and grind for that last percent. I started grinding Steel Soul runs instead. My question: have you ever hit a wall in a video game that you couldn't make it past, but it didn't sour you on the game? Put another way, is there a game that you love, but still feel like you haven't mastered?

Jason Wojnar

What's a game that's renowned for having great music that you think doesn't actually have a great soundtrack. I love Death Stranding 2's original soundtrack but the songs from other artists are tolerable but nothing outstanding. Similarly, did not see the big deal about Sayanora Wildhearts' music.

Fancygraham

Do you ever think about a time where you won’t be recording yourself? If so, do you think you’ll miss that part of your personality?

Eliinspace

Who would you rather take on a date Sasquatch or the Loch Ness Monster, and what would you do?

RickyWinterborn

Skate 4 is coming to early access soon, the reaction seems divided between old fans hating the mobile game vibes and new players who think it's fun and don't mind the loot box progression. Do you think an old beloved game is always worth reviving, even if it means it's free to play with loot boxes? Or are some franchises just better left alone?

Donnie

Hey y’all! What’s the best game soundtrack to listen to while driving? My current vote is for Fires of Rubicon. It makes grocery runs more action-packed.

Rikimaru

Hey, MinnMax! This is a game called, "Games Yearly!" where you get to pick the cover of a yearly magazine featuring the theme of the year. For example, if this year's theme is "Year of the Ninja" you would pick between AC Shadows, Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, or Ghost of Yotei to be the cover. 2000 - Year of the RPG: - Chrono Cross - Final Fantasy IX - Skies of Arcadia - Vagrant Story 2007 - Year of the X360: - BioShock - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Halo 3 - Mass Effect 2013 - Year of the 3DS: - Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Fire Emblem Awakening - Pokemon X & Y - The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 2018 - Year of the PS4: - Astro Bot Rescue Mission - God of War - Marvel's Spider-Man - Shadow of the Colossus Remake 2024 - Year of the Dragon - Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake - Dragon's Dogma 2 - Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Travis in Fargo

With video game development in such a precarious, even dire, state currently, what are some new, weird, or innovative ways devs could secure funding? Novel payment structures, in-game ads, more “Monster Energy presents” type nonsense?

SenttheProphet

Do you ever think about how we are the first humans to truly appreciate gaming? Barring any apocalypse in the future and the end of humanity - if civilization continues on for thousands of years - MinnMax will be looked back upon as one of the original reporters and "journal keepers" of games. In the grand scheme of time, the time from Pong to now is nothing compared to 2100 and beyond. The deep dives, podcasts, may become treasure troves for future gaming historians to understand how we want from print media to the digital age. No pointed question here, it is just truly amazing to ponder about.

Tom Rickard

Based off Ben’s Moby Dick comment a couple weeks ago, do any of you have a “white whale” book or game you tell yourself you’ll read/play one day even though it’s a little on the difficult side?

Troy Ellison

It seems Silksong has, fairly or unfairly, been dubbed "The GTA VI of Indie games" given how many games are moving their release to not conflict with the game. Is there anything else you would dub "The GTA VI" of it's medium (Movies, books, season menu items, etc)?

RynaGoGo

Howdy MinnMax and Happy Silksong day! MTVs best kiss award has gone to some truly iconic kisses. There’s Gellar and Blair for Cruel Intentions, Dunst and Maguire for Spider-Man and Stewart and Pattinson won for the Twilight movies 4 years in a row!! But what about video game kisses? If there was a MinnMaxTV award for best video game kiss who would win?

DylanTheWizard

I would like to nominate the ice cream sandwich as the most satisfying and satiating snack. It's reliable, refreshing, and a small enough serving size you won't feel sick. Is there any better snack when you come home and need something right away?

Nate Voris

Sarah has mentioned Love Island a few times on the pod. Who was she rooting for to win? Which versions does she watch? If she were on the show and had to pick two Minnmax cohorts to visit her on family day instead of her actual family, who would she pick?

Kraven Morcome

Hey MinnMax, The term Werewolf comes from old English "wer" meaning man and "wulf" meaning wolf. So essentially man-wolf. But when sonic transforms in Sonic Unleashed he becomes a werehog, a man-hedgehog according to old english. Why then does he have wolf like qualities? Did Sega think the world wasn't ready for Sonic with human skin?

Chase Ruppert

Howdy Tinn Taxxers. What rpg archetype are you? (Mage, Archer, fighter, literally anything!)

Geebeesee

A personal chef shows up at your house, fully paid for in advance, with full access to any ingredient. What meal do you order?

Arturo Perez

Hi Minnmax! I'm not from the US so I would like to know what is it that you think makes Minnesota special and cool! I would love to visit once things are normal 😅 Keep up the good work! Love all your content!

Chia

Now that Silksong is out and GTA6 has a release date, what's the next game you would pick to be the focus of indefinite anticipation? I want everyone to start hyping up Fumito Ueda's robot game until it becomes THE game of 20XX

Jacob Mazanowski

Who would you cast to play you and people in your life in a mockumentary based off of your life?

Juniper Cain

Hi all, I’ve recently joined all the cool gamers and put together my Top 25 games of all time. I struggled for a bit though, because I realised that I have maybe three or four all time favourites before there’s a sharp drop-off between “I love this forever” and “I really really *like* this.” What number ranking do you think this happens with your own lists? What number ranking is the last “I love this so much” before the “I deeply like it”?

SlyCut

Hello all, What is your favorite Bond movie? Who is your favorite Bond?

Travis in Fargo

Are there any buttons on your microwave you’ve never touched? I’ve had mine for a decade and just realized there’s a button labeled “beverage.”

Tanner Hoisington

What's ACTUALLY going on with all these indie release date pushes due to Silksong? Several games journos started to speculate after the first few that this may be a marketing ploy rather than a necessity, and I think they're right. But what does that say about their marketing until now? Especially when you see people online saying they didn't know the original release date. I find it all a bit silly, personally I'm more of a Baby Steps guy than a Silksong guy.

SnowmanXIV

Hi MinnMax! Game reviews are unique compared to other media because unlike a book or a movie, you're not just evaluating the game as a piece of art, you're also evaluating it as a functional product. A game with performance issues usually gets worse reviews, but would you ever consciously give a game a better review score because it runs flawlessly?

p9xm

Hello! Now that Silksong is about to be out (as of writing this), what's the next heavily memed games project other than Half-Life 3? Or, what projects are you still hopeful for that haven't been heard from in a while?

Jacob Mazanowski

What’s your favorite non dessert sweet thing? I get really into Mangos and Pineapples a lot

David Dubs

Hey Gang! I felt like there wasn’t a lot of love coming last week towards live performances (like a live podcast!). What are some of your favorite live performances you've either seen remotely or in person?

CptCobblePot

What game are you so good at you could confidently clear with either the Dk Bongo controller or DanceDance pad?

Luke Neff

Because of a MinnMax community question, if I don’t see the moon in a while I make an intentional effort to make sure it’s still there. Whats something silly that sticks with you?

Parker Aden

Ben… if you had to choose between never having all 9 of the Cohorts together in person, or never being able to eat freeze dried mangos ever again, which would you choose?

Lamb Dance

Hey MinnMax, I know there's no way you've all had enough time to properly digest the new Hollow Knight game, so maybe it's way too early to have an in-depth discussion on this... But can we get a thirst council rating for Hornet from Silksong anyway? Cause I've seen people online thirsting for this insect, is that straight to jail worthy?

Xavier Perez

Hey Minnmax crew, question for Ben and JeffM. I think I’ll always remember Expedition 33 because it’s the first game I played after my son was born and I mostly played it at 2-3 am while monitoring his sleep. Do the two of you still remember the first games you played after your children were born?

Kapsilon

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games. When someone says they couldn't get into Hollow Knight, I immediately assume we will find no common gaming ground. But maybe I'm wrong. Do you think any two people, no matter how different their tastes are, could find at least one game they both love?

Justin Dale

Had to make it through the whole extended travel log first before asking but. Did anyone surprise others with a role while all together in the Airbnb for the summer event? I love to wake up early and cook breakfast. Sometimes that surprises the friends we are with.

Daniel Martins

Hey Minnmax, with Bloodlines eventually getting release and probably not being what ppl wanted or maybe not who knows. My question is, what do you think is the game that best explores the idea of Vampirism through its Mechanics and/or narrative? and, if none, what do you think would make for interesting Vampire mechanics that you have not seen tried before?

BEEFCAKE

Can I have question of the week this week?

Eric Newman

What’d you all think of fantastic 4? I thought it was pretty ok… any thoughts on doing a monthly podcast to discuss movies and tv you all have been watching? (I’m a huge fan of the recent max spoilers on Superman and Jurassic World and would love something like that more often)

Memory Card

With Silksong out this week I'm curious : what are some games you've played that actually feel like playing as an insect vs an insect-shaped person?

James

Hi MinnMax, I just had my first kid! He is literally a baby so he doesn't do much at this point, but I'm already super proud of him! It got me thinking about kids in video games. Who is the best, good kid? Not the best kid, but the best good kid? E.g, Ness is a good kid, Mega Man is a good kid. Atreus is a good son but he's too old and teenagerish so he doesn't qualify as a good KID. Hope that makes sense! Bye MinnMax.

Julio Rivera

Hey Minnmax, do you ever struggle to decide which version of a game to get? With Silksong coming up this week, it may be a day 1 purchase, but since its coming out on everything i'm personally not sure if Switch 2 (120fps), Steamdeck OLED (better screen) or PS5 (probably everything bar portability), regional price would be a thing too and i think thats gonna leave PS5 out (still charges in USD + tax in my country) since Steam and eshop sell in my currency. Blue Prince just got a physical version announced (yay iam8bit) and im glad I waited to get that, but Silksong is gonna be a double dip for sure when that physical version comes out, do you ever do that even if its both digital?

Tess

Hey MinnMax! I saw in The Ultimate Minneapolis Travelogue that Sarah likes hololive. I was wondering who her oshi is an if she's played any of the holoindie games?

Anthony Dungan

Hey MinnMax, I was struck by how Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and the new Shinobi game released so close together. Do any of you have insight onto what developers think or feel when a game similar to theirs releases so closely?

Swansonge

What do you think is the most commonly said phrase by each of your cohorts on this current panel?

ghoulie

Hey there crew! I have always been a fan of film and how immersive the medium can be just through visual storytelling. My question for you all is; What is the most immersive scene or moment you can think of from any game? A moment that took you out of reality and fully put you into that world and has stuck with you since. For me it would be the God Of War 2018 scene with Kratos reclaiming the blades of chaos. Hope you’re all doing well!

Cubber

I was going through my notes app and forgot that like 2 years ago, around the time Ben was on paternity leave, I started writing down what I call, “out of context Ben Hanson” because I genuinely believe Ben is hilarious. But I completely forgot about it and then it got buried under random grocery lists and mental doodles. Anyways, I thought I’d list a few. “Someone be dominant please.” “JeffM, you ever love anything?” “How much are you sucking out of that tank? How much can your stomach hold?” “I actually saw Sarah elevate up to the heavens.” “Never order a dog off of Amazon” “Leo, I see those eyebrows.” “Tweet for the job you want” “Yes, a unicorn that craps rainbows, that would smell good.” “Sarah looks like I just shoved a big pile of feces in front of her on a plate” And here’s a recent one I added because I thought it was too good to not include. “Squat down in moo moo meadows, you’re ours now. Give us your milky money.” So I guess my question would be, what’s your favorite Ben-ism?

CptCobblePot

Minnmax Crew, I was watching the Departed for the 27th time this week and no matter how many times I see it the part where Delahunt calls Costigan (Leo DiCaprio) over and says "When I called you, I made a mistake. I gave you the wrong address, but you showed up at the right one" gives me that “oh dang!” moment every time. What is your favorite mouth dropped moment in films and or/shows?

Christian Jimenez

Hello, I've been watching Maximilian Dood play Hollow Knight for the first time and by his own admission and other commenters he picked up the combat easily but gets lost easily. What skills do you feel you have in games that you would trade off in real life, that are opposites? (Hard to phrase but I think the question is understood) For example, playing a new sport and picking it up quickly but being trash at cooking, etc.

FinalSin

Hey all, have you ever messed with suno or any other a.i. music maker? If not think might be a cool idea to see who can make the best video game or Minnmax tune.

Jeremy McPhail

Question for Marchiafava . . .You have an extensive knowledge and collection of card builders. Is there a card builder game like Slay the Spire that is not rogue-like? One where you can build a character through cards and save progress while being emersed in a story? Thanks for any help in advance.

Thom Blackburn

How much does the poopoo and peepee economy matter in the snake eater remaster? If you blow up toilets will enemies no longer have Norman Reedus grenades?

Adam Castellanos

I recently lost my cartridge of super smash brothers ultimate and can’t find it anywhere. I feel like apart of me is lost forever even though I didn’t play it much anymore. Have any of yall lost or misplaced a game before and did you ever find it?

gybones

Community Questions hard mode: which cohort do you least want to do a new show plus with?

Travis in Fargo

What kind of video game puzzle would you most want to attempt in real life, say, in an escape room? Sokobon? Mirror/light puzzle? A Tetris?

Derek Achoy

You are granted the power to access a character creator in the real world at any time. However! You have to choose if you can: 1) Only be able to use it on yourself, or 2) Be able to use it on anyone in the world, but not yourself. Which do you choose?

T. Campbell Murphy

People consider me a bit of a media snob. I love David Lynch films. But, when asked what my favorite movie of all time is, I have a very unpretentious answer: Tropic Thunder. I saw it first back in ‘09 and it sort of kickstarted a love/fascination with metafictional storytelling. With that in mind, what are you favorite metafiction games or gaming moments? For me, it’s Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem when it shut off my TV.

KayBree

Hello! It feels like there a fewer games where you are set up as the villain of the story these days - I'm thinking of games like Destroy All Humans or Overlord and less so the games with "good or evil" choices. Why do you think we have fewer types of these games? Is there any villain you'd want a game to center around?

Elizabeth Fort

What is everyone’s opinion on silent pro tags I am not fan like in persona when they have whole personalities but just can’t really show it off

elrob

hi! we all know that Nintendo is infamously secretive about their internal development practices. if one day they started releasing substantive behind the scenes content (dev diaries, interviews, etc), how do you think it would effect game development across the industry?

Nick deVries

Hi MinnMax crew, Gaming aside, I have really enjoyed getting into Brandon Sanderson’s books in the last year. I’m wrapping up The Stormlight Archive now (it rules), but am starting to think of my next read. What is the last great book you have read? Thanks, love the show!

AnAttackCorgi

If you could have any videogame ability what would it be? I’d choose “You awaken feeling Rested”

Felix davin

Hello MinneapolisMaximum. Can you think of a game in which the word "vagina" appears ? (Beside back alley steam games, they don't count here). Bisous.

Jonathan and Holly Katzman

At SGDQ this year, someone ran MGS3 with a mod that made all enemies and bosses invisible. Is there a game or even level or stage from a game that you think you know well enough that you could run it with the main obstacle (e.g. enemies, platforms, musical notes) invisible?

Toke F.

Fun fact: every calender year a Mass Effect game has released a new Halo game has also released. Starting with Mass Effect and Halo 3 = 2007. ME2 and H:Reach = 2010. ME3/MEtrilogi and Halo reach = 2012. ME Andromeda and Halo wars 2 = 2017. MELengendary and Halo Infinite = 2021. It even includes mobile/spinoff ME titles with ME galaxy and Halo: odst and Halo wars =2009. if I need to include a question "what is a good example of a pair of Franchises, which aren't connected, that you connect together anyway? Star Wars and Star trek? Godzilla and pacific rim? PS I hope JeffM gets answer of the week. -Toke F.

Amir Forokhi

Hi Minnimum Maxers, Name 5 games, that each game would be the equivalent of these sauces: ketchup, Mayonnaise, Dijon Mustard, Tobasco and soy sauce

Jawarhello

Hello MinnMax Crew! I have a trip to Japan coming up and wondered if any if you have tips for someone visiting for the first time. I'll be in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Food, shopping, or sightseeing recommendations are always welcome but also, are there any customs I should be aware of so I don't accidentally come off as rude or ignorant? Thanks for the advice!

Michael Dorle

Hey MinnMaxers! We all know traditionally video games were thought of as just a distraction or sometimes as mildly compelling educational games, but have any of you gained any significant academic knowledge from games? For example I learned how proteins fold in my biochemistry class using a game called Fold-It which actually revolutionized protein folding for a while and in 2011, Foldit gamers solved the structure of an enzyme from a virus causing AIDS-like symptoms in monkeys. Scientists had struggled with this for 15 years due to an unusual fold, but the players were able to work it out in only 10 days by the power of crowdsourcing. If you haven’t encountered anything like this do you have a favorite educational game?

Joe Shmoe

Hey MinnMax crew, While reading, I would always see how long a chapter is before starting to see how long it would take me. As I have gotten older though I have stopped doing so because I felt it would spoil the pacing of the chapter as it would need to wrap up in so many pages. Do you look at a chapters page length ahead of time or go in blind?

Fossil Arcade

While at university in 2008, my friend's shared dorm room was trashed. Bodily fluids were involved. As an early digital camera owner, I offered to take photo evidence. A week or so later I took my Wii to my grandparents for some Christmas fun, and absent mindedly decided to demonstrate the Wii's Photo Channel using the same SD Card from my camera ... inadvertently giving my whole family a pre-christnas dinner tour of a vomit soaked university kitchen. So my question is, what's your most embarrassing gaming related memory?

Wajora

Who (are what) is the best non-sentient video game sidekick?

Random Oil Man

Legal question here: What happens if a conjoined twin commits a crime that the other is innocent of - how do you punish them fairly?

Scott H

Hey Maxers! During a recent conversation I was having with someone about Nightreign I asked that person if FromSoft fans would ever consider it better than any of FromSoft's modern games. There response was "No. Well they made a VR game no one talks about" I was flabbergasted, had no idea they made a VR game. They made a VR game in 2018 called Deracine which was poorly received. What is a game made by a major developer or publisher that you think you are the only person that remembers the game or given it any thought post release?

Lewis K

Hey team, How many people do you think are going to be sucked into the hype and realise that Silksong is a game not for them within the first thirty minutes? Does internet hype at this level actively kind of “break” games like this to be viewed fairly?

OhMyBlob

The release of Silksong has got me thinking about modern sequels - with so much money and pressure involved, there’s definitely an increased desire to play it safe and iterate rather than innovate. Which makes complete sense! But my question is: what’s the strangest sequel of all time? One that didn’t play it safe at all. MGS is probably the correct answer. But I’d give a shout out to Halo 2 as well.

Brady Griffith

You’re on a desert island with a handheld device with infinite battery and infinite storage, but YOU choose the device. Do you bring 1) a Switch 2 with your whole Switch library or 2) a Steam Deck with your whole Steam library?

Graham Jones

What is the video game equivalent of Monopoly and risk?

Graham Jones

What is the game where you wish you could erase your memory to play again for the first time? For me personally it would have to be Witcher 3 or Expedition 33

Nathan Ryer

Hey MinnMax! What is the best entry into the Aliens franchise? Alien, Aliens, or the new Alien Earth?

Tyler

Do you ever feel like video games sometimes inflict a fear of failure onto us? I’m terrible at taking my own advice but I know it is important to embrace failure in life. However, video games tend to make me become a perfectionist. “I want this level run to be perfect, I want the most health, items, etc.” I find myself with certain games constantly reloading my last save or checkpoint to ensure my outcome is the best. But is that authentic? I know video games are fiction but is it reinforcing a bad behavior? Sorry to get all philosophical but I have been thinking about that a lot recently.

resnet

Hi MinnMax! What's a game that you don't think is that good but you played it in such a special way that it'll always be a personal favorite?

John

Hard Question: If games stopped being made today, and all that remained was what currently exists, how many years before you changed hobbies?

Matthew Acton

Hey Minnmax, my question is: What is your favorite button press prompt in a game? I played Expedition 33, and there are a couple of great mentions in there, but just the fact that after battles you click We Continue really hit the first few times (and again really hit after Act 1).

Jacob Mazanowski

Why are game reviews averaged around a 77? Shouldn’t a 5 mean a good average game? Or with reviews is 7 the standard good/fine game? I think we should hit all the number more. Seems like it’s harder to review in the 3/4 ranged compared to a 7-9

Sleeksaber

Hi gang! If you could travel anywhere in the world with a portable gaming bubble that protects you from all conditions, where would you go, and what game would you play to feel fully immersed?

JTDenton

Any chance of getting Kate Sánchez back on to discuss Borderlands 4? I really appreciated her insight during its reveal!

Jaser Helu

Hey Crew, Who has the better trilogy: Solid Snake (MGS 1, 2, & 4) or Big Boss (MGS 3, PW, & V) Yeah, yeah, you don’t play as solid snake for the majority of 2. BUT you also don’t play as big boss for the majority of V, so I feel it evens out.

Duderado

How often do you clean your feet? Like actually get in there and scrub em.

SnowmanXIV

Hi MinnMax! It feels like every time a high-profile game with a woman protagonist comes out, some players inevitably decide she doesn't meet their strict definition of femininity and someone mods the game to change that. How would you yassify Silksong's Hornet?

KiwiTheGoo

Hey all, for the first time basically ever, backwards compatibility the past two gens has been a major talking point for all console makers. Do you think moving forward that will be the norm? I feel like the Steam Deck has a good framework, could a robust playable/verified system create my dream of decades long software support across multiple generations? Thanks!

Brandon H

What game would you love to see be made into a movie or get the Last of Us/Fallout treatment?

Luca Alberti

Hey crew, in honor of Hell is Us releasing to great reviews in the wake of Silksong, let's give a nod to it and some other overshadowed games: what are some games coming this September/Fall that you wish more people played/payed attention to?

Kajkacz

For the #hardquestionweek, what's the right level of stereotyping in video games? RE5(?) got a lot of justified flak for their African stereotypes, but things like Raiden Mexican 'disguise' in MGR is hillarious. So do you think developers have the right to put blatant stereotypes in games if done correctly, what it means to do it correctly, and what examples can you think of? Parry that!

Brian W

I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve recently got into sea of thieves. That salty sea air just calls to me. Have any of you got into a game you are embarrassed to say you are currently playing in the year 2025?

Nathan

Do you have your top four backlogg’d games (like Letterboxd but games)? What do they say about you?

K. B. Klemens III

I just hit 100% on Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and wow what a ride. From the John Wick style revenge storyline, to the insanely tight and difficult platforming and intense combat sequences, this game was designed so well and is firmly in my top 5 for this year… yet, as I sit here watching the credits I wonder, 1) do you guys watch full credits or skip? And also how do you all feel about in-menu “spoilers”? I.e. Empty ability slots in the menu, or blacked out skill tree options with descriptions? Can anything be a secret anymore ?!

Chris Fantry

Hi MinnMaximos. What game or game series would be fun if the character you played as could absorb the power of their enemies (a la Mega Man)? My mind thinks that any Metal Gear Solid game would be a pretty good candidate.

Atticus Crowe

Not to put Jacob on blast, but when he talked about watching KPop Demon Hunters he mentioned having a hard time understanding the words because of their speed. Does this mean he watched without subtitles? And in general, when do you decide to typically use subtitles when watching content with English audio language?

Luther S

Late question but maybe I will make it in! I am a remote worker that has the chance to move, and I have been considering Minneapolis as an option. I can read all of the good reviews about the city online, but what are your hot takes on living in Minneapolis and the surrounding area? Is it really hard to meet new people? Is Minnesota Nice really just hearing a polite “No” over and over? I love nature and culture, so it looks like it could be a great fit for me! Thanks all.

Charlie F.

Now that Silksong is released officially, What do you you all think is the next game that is in a long development cycle to come out?

Potato-smash7

As a newish cyclist, Ben what's the best bike related thing you've bought that's made bike riding that much better?

I've bene loving watching Haley's playthrough of MGS Delta, but it's brought up something I feel like I've been debating since I was a kid in the 2000's. Why are Gaming audiences so predisposed to like long cutscenes? Like, you can look at the How Long to Beat these days, you can gather how long a game is, does it really matter if that time is 60% cutscene and 40% gameplay? Or 80/20? You're still spending the same amount of time on it either way, so I've never understood this yearning for more gameplay. It doesn't make the experience faster unless you're just skipping everything. And to me that's always been kind of lame. I feel like it'd be more enjoyable to go in with no expectations and just let the game be what it is. Again, much love to Haley and all that MinnMax does, but it's always confused me. Thanks!

I’m excited for the new Bond game. Everyone loves to remember goldeneye, but I’m particularly nostalgic for the old game Agent on Fire. What are your favorite Bond Games of all time?

Leon Kennedy’s Shoulders

Hi cohorts. You guys said that you wanted someone to be dominant last week and I’ve reached out multiple weeks to no avail. So my question is, why do you only read questions from people like attack corgi and Erick in Fargo? I guess what my question is is, what kind of question is more likely to be read on the show? Seems like politics from someone who’s new to the discord.

Oh, okay, now I continued the episode and see what the secret sauce is. So my amended question is, what do you use to powder your vaginas? 😂😂😂😂😂
