The only time hearing a spoiler ever bothered me was when a friend’s partner intentionally spoiled The Dark Knight Rises the day before I saw it in the theater, after I had been careful to avoid hearing about it before its release. Have you ever been upset by hearing a spoiler?

Ray Sweat

What's the most disappointing sequel to a video game you've ever experienced? For me it was probably Resident Evil 6

Maximilian Mackinnon

if you could take one game back in time and give it to yourself as a kid, what game do you think kid-you would enjoy the most?

Peter Gallagher

When you guys floss do you eat the food or is that gross? My fiance thinks it’s gross, but I think it’s a waste if you don’t!

I have a very vivid memory of playing Monster Hunter World and while watching the Palico Muscle Chef cooking, my stomach audibly growled. Ever have a situation where something that happened in a game triggered a physical reaction in you?

AnAttackCorgi

Hello MinnMax! Sometimes bad games need a little love too. Can you compliment some of the bad games/games you disliked this year?

Sam Hookom

What is the worst game that you love?

Sleeksaber

Hi Minnmax, I recently saw that Blooper Team made a post congrulating Techland on the release of Dying Light: The Beast. Unlike when Bethesda congratulated Sandfall for E33, or when Sandfall congratulated Team Cherry for Silksong with their own custom art, Blooper’s post just photoshopped Kyle Crane in front of The Traveler from Cronos. It didn’t feel as authentic as those other examples. Do you think this could be a more common marketing approach where a less successful game tries to gain attention by associating itself with a bigger release through congratulatory posts?

That's Mildly Raven

Jason, what's the biggest misconception you're surprised people still have about your work?

RickyWinterborn

Do ya'll find it annoying that most modern tech is either difficult or impossible to fully turn off? My computer monitor still has a blinking standby light on even after its powered down, the PS5 is obsessed with sleep mode to the point where it literally turns itself back on after i shut it down and the Switch hides the actual power down option. Why can't we just turn stuff off?!

CrabPalace

Hey cojorts, ever get health anxiety? How do you deal with it? Peace out. love, crabpalace

When you are given a selection of weapons to choose from without first experiencing any real gameplay (such as in Hades), what do you gravitate towards?

Hi MinnMax! Do you have a type when it comes to picking romance option in video games?

What's the best bug? 🪲

Thom Blackburn

I've asked plenty of times what games you would like to see adapted into a theme park, but I should have asked what theme park rides would you want to see adapted into a video game? Thanks, Thom

Hey! What kind of unconventional pet would you have if you could properly take care of it and no law prohibited you of having it?

Bolt31415

Hey long time, first time! I listen to the podcast at 2x speed and Ben's Seinfeld impression is very good at double time! Do any of the cohorts have a "pocket impression" they could bust out? Bonus points if it sounds better the faster its done!

Seeing the FF Tactics remake offer two versions of the game got me thinking - what do you look for in a remake? Is your ideal remake an FF7 situation? Or something as faithful as MGS delta? Maybe something in between? Personally, navigating the FF7 remakes has been one of my favorite gaming experiences ever and the original FF7 will always be there to revisit. Curious to hear other thoughts!

Elias Armendariz

Hello MinnMax! How long is your typical gaming session when doing a review? How long when you're playing on your own time?

Chris Fantry

Hi cohorts! Jason Schreier has broken a lot of news over the years. Which news of Jason's was your favorite or the most interesting to you?

Cath

Just stated to play split fiction with a friend who is a very casual gamer and oh boy I understood what game literacy and experience means. I have to wait up to five minutes sometimes for her to do something it took me a minute. And I have to point where to go. I was getting angry until I realized it’s just a flaw of the game that can’t balanced experience player with non experience player. Is it split fiction design fault or it’s just the way it is ?

David M

With the calendar of games releases being so crowded this time of year, how do you pick and choose which games you spend your precious free time on?

L Stockler

This one is for Jason: After spreading the news of so many of infamous cases in the gaming industry, nowadays, do you feel a shiver down your spine every time someone new reaches out?

RynaGoGo

Howdy MinnMax, It’s October now which means it’s scary season. Now the horror fans can tell everybody about how many scary movies they watched and how they weren’t actually scary. Scary things are supposed to be scary!! Why do these freaks think it’s cool to not be scared? Im scared just thinking about being scared! ~Ryan the coward

Josh64

Hey y’all! What music are you listening to right now?

Dan Childers

Other mediums frequently emphasize metrics beyond "fun." Do you think games that aren't focused on "fun" can still be "good" games? If so, what are some "good" games you think focus on other things as a primary or secondary objective other than fun?

Hello all, You can only have one: Microwave Dishwasher Bidet Which do you choose?

Hey MinnMax! Movie tie-in games were huge when I was growing up, but they seem to have vanished. I thought it would be fun to imagine what some films might have brought with a tie-in video game. To simplify it, I took a few of the recent Best Animated feature titles. How do you think they’d translate to video games? The Boy and the Heron Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio Zootopia Big Hero 6 Rango

Do you have a game from your childhood that you love and have nostalgia for that you never actually finished? I recently beat Legend of Dragoon for the first time as an adult despite having played it TONS as a kid.

Hey, MinnMax! I’ve got two weeks of vay-cay coming up with nothing to do but play Switch. What are some good Switch games to make some memories?

Travis in Fargo

Have you ever been legitimately scared by a Halloween costume?

Tyler Jenkins

With the amount of game releases that come out through the year it’s really hard to keep track of them and recency bias seems to take hold especially as it gets closer to the end of the year What do you guys think of holding semi annual game awards? Or maybe even quarterly awards and then the game awards at the end of the year could be the winner amongst the 4 winners of the quarterlies? What are your guys thoughts?

Swansonge

Imagine a bizarro world where MinnMax is no longer allowed to cover games using podcasting, videos, or prosaic text— what other medium would you use to best convey your thoughts on the gaming landscape?

Bryan Tylec

If you have to choose one, what’s one type of mammal in a video game that, if you’re being honest, you don’t really feel all that bad about killing? And don’t be a smart ass and say humans.

Hi MinnMax! It's been a great year for fans of previously "dormant" franchises. With new Silent Hill, Hollow Knight, and even a solid Metal Gear 3 remake, it feels like nothing good stays dead forever. What "forgotten" franchise do you think is due for a revival?

Travis in Fargo

If Mephistopheles snapped his little fingers and every video game became a movie and every movie became a video game, what would you first want to watch and play?

Hi Jason, I loved Play Nice and your other two books. When is the next one, and what is it about?

Victor Pham

What words do you have trouble pronouncing?

Dear MinnMaxers: What's the longest amount of time you've stood in a queue for something and what was it for?

Travis in Fargo

Has doing a million podcast episodes affected your brain or personality in an unexpected way? Like, after a social conversation goes on for a while, do you feeling like taking an ad break?

Jonathan Griffin

Hey Maxxers and Minners. I recently played through Assassin’s Creed Balck Flag for the first time, and loved it. However, I recently had to move back in with my parents after graduating College, and the only tv is in the living room, meaning that’s where I had to play. It also meant I often had to wait until everyone had gone to bed so I had the tv to myself to use it. This often meant I was playing fairly late into the night as I finished the game. One night as I was playing, I felt I was getting towards the end, but it was past 12:30 by this point, and I had to be up for work in the morning, and I quit the game and went to bed. I started the game up the next night, only to discover that what I had thought was going to be a final hour or so before the end, wound up being the rather rushed wrap up of the present day section, then (spoilers) The Parting Glass moment and the moment when Edward meets his daughter and they sail off into the sunset, a total of maybe 15 minutes. A really sweet moment that I feel would have landed much harder if I’d been immersed and in a groove with the game, rather than just starting it up immediately at the ending. This got me thinking how, with games, there’s often not prescribed lengths of time it’s recommending you devote to it. With a tv show, the episodes are broken up for viewing, same with books and chapters, and movies as their run time. With all of these things you often know how much is left too, with books especially as another medium that can take a long time to consume, physically showing you how much is left. With games being more player driven in their lengths and often less clear as to how much is left, have you ever had a moment like this where you realized you’d stopped way too close to the end, and the ending no longer is as effective as it may otherwise have been? Or have you had opposite moments, where you had been marathoning, just trying to reach an ending you were sure was soon, but the game kept going and you realized you’d stopped way should have stopped earlier so you could actually enjoy the ending, not be just trying to get done?

Sam Worms

What’s a more satisfying sound - walking on fallen leaves, or on freshly fallen snow?

MarriottPlayer

Hi MM, I heard Pokémon games are aimed at children. Does that mean adult Pokémon fans are similar to adult Disney fans?

Shawninator

Hey Minnmax (and Jason)! Hades 2 is out (I have yet to play it), but I hear it has lots of cool weapons to choose from like the first. My related question you is this: What is your preferred melee weapon and ranged weapon in video games? It can be a general weapon class like SMGs or Big Hammers or a specific weapon from any game. Maybe not your favorite weapon, but you just like using it and tend to use a similar weapon across the games you play.

WeGoGiant

Jason, is EA going the way of Red Lobster here? What the hell is going on?

What is the best box-pushing section in a game that's not a dedicated box-pushing game?

Ben keeps stressing the importance of not allowing parasocial friendships (not my BFF Haley, though) - is that just a general practice or does that come from personal experience?

Phelix Diaz

Was Mario a flat-earther before Mario 64?

Howdy Minnmax and welcome Jason! What is the best meal you know how to cook? Do you have a “go-to” meal when you need to cook something semi-nice that you know you can pull off easily? Mine is probably a nice plate of carbonara, and a pot of Japanese curry, respectively. It took me like 10 tries before I felt confident serving my carbonara to other people. Definitely time well spent, though! Keep up the good work y’all!

naoh.yup

(posted this too late a few weeks ago, so apologies for the repeat.) If this is too political/serious for a podcast about videogames I understand, but how do you all motivate yourselves to do work when the political scene (in the U.S.) is so fraught? I personally go into work and often sit there like the "This is fine" dog -- I'm struggling. Thanks for your fun podcast, and hope you guys are holding up okay.

Fancygraham

Can you think of a sequel where you can firmly say “if you didn’t like the first game, you’ll probably like this one”?

Donald Wieden

What's your video game white whale of collectors items? Im bound and determined to find a physical Crosscode for Switch (and pay less than $100)

Catpurrnicus

You're only able to play games that has one character in it going forward. Mario has crossed over to a lot of games, but so has Sonic. Some characters have appeared in unlikely games. Kratos has appeared in Hot Shots Golf, Mortal Kombat, LittleBigPlanet, Shovel Knight and Fortnite, to name a few. Which character are you choosing?

OneArmedWolf

I don’t love Silksong now as a boring adult but I couldn’t help but think about the effect this game would have had on me as a kid (art, music, overall vibe) and possibly my taste overall. It got me thinking that we don’t really get to choose what shapes our taste - it sort of happens to us. My question is: what if you could choose? If you had the very specific ability to go back in time and make sure your younger self had to experience ONE specific piece of art - games, tv, film, whatever - that you ‘missed out on’, what would it be? And what sort of impact (if any) do you think it would have had on your taste overall?

Arturo Perez

Hello Minnmax! Who do you think would win the minnmax cohort 2xko tournament? Take everyoneeee

Anyone else have an uncle who’s really into AI?

Matthew Phelps

Hey Minnmax (And Jason Schreier!) Have a bit of a long one today, but I’ve been interested in trying to break into the games journalism space for a bit and was wondering what your thoughts are on the current state of the field for newcomers? Do you think the best way in for someone with virtually no connections is to just pursue something like content creation (like a blog or video essays) and hope to become big enough that you could find a place at a major traditional outlet like IGN and the like? Or is it better to try and just go for it as a freelancer, pitching articles when and where you can? Love the show and the work that all of you do, may there always be a place to report on the things we love and good company to talk about it with. Thank you!

Matt in Maryland

Any favorite Halloween-y games for weenies? Just played through Costume Quest for the first time and it was a blast! There are plenty of scary horror games but would love to hear any recommendations on the cozier side of things.

Hi Minnmax, Pretend that you now magically possess the ability to fly. However, you can only fly if you are completely naked. How often would you use your new flight abilities?

Fancygraham

Why do people dunk on or immediately dismiss musicals? I feel like they usually get a more exaggerated response out of people rather than the typical “it’s just not for me” comment when talking about other genres.

Between Trails in the Sky FC, FF Tactics and the HD-2D Dragon Quests, remake fever is sweeping the nation this Autumn! Are there any games that you've played where the remake has fully replace the original experience? (Or the inverse)

Lauren

I just got a Playdate and I’m loving it! It’s packed with great indie game experiences on a console that really inspires creativity and ingenuity. I can’t wait to try developing some of my own game ideas for it. I wanted to check in with Kelsy and Ben to get a temperature check on thier playdate opinions three years on. Any game reccomdations?

McGreevy

Hi cohorts. It's been mentioned on the show before that indie game sequels rarely outshine the original. With silksong and hades 2 this last month is it time to reassess this claim? Any other prominent examples of a better indie sequel?

Cody A

Howdy minnmax, Which wild animal do you think you'd have the best chance at taming and making your pet?

Michael Berry

Recently, I had to replace my PS3 slim with another one once the first one died. I like to use the PS3 for Netflix and youtube for my bedroom. I also like to fill the PS3 with a bunch of weird PSN exclusives that are forever siloed away on the PS3. Pain, the Last Guy, Calling All Cars, Tokyo Jungle. A few made it to steam like Papo & Yo and Sideways New York, but most haven't left the PS3. If you could manifest a port to modern platforms, which PSN exclusive from the PS3 would you bring back?

Daniel K

What Halloween costume (or costume in general) have you always wanted to have/make/wear, but never had the opportunity?

Christopher Andrews

Hey Minni and the Maxies, 2025 will probably go down as one of the best years for games ever, but what strikes me even more about it is the amount of great game music. Expedition 33, Hades 2, Silksong, and Deltarune all have songs that have made it onto my dog walking playlist. Do you have any video game music that you listen to regularly in everyday life?

Zae

As a Patreon supporter, I don’t hear ads. Pitch me on your fake products and what podcasts you would advertise to.

PierretheReject

Which Video Game Adaptation do you want to see on the big screen?

Badmonsterman

Hey minnest maxxers, what weapon if any from hades 1 would y’all like to see return to hades 2?

Sincerly, Eric

Hello all! Full transparency. This Question comes from a debate heard while I was listening to Fire Escape Cast. I am hoping it does not cause a schism between the MinnMax panel. When watching Looney Tunes, who do you root for, do you root for Wil E. Coyote. Or do you root for Roadrunner?

Outlandish Beats

Hi MinnMax! Team Cherry released Silksong with little regard for launch norms. IE, announcing a release date 2 weeks out (which stepped on other games' launches), dropping it without preloading (crashing all digital store fronts) not sending pre-release codes to reviewers, and even setting the price point to "only" $20 which some have said lowers the expected price bar for other games. Team Cherry still seems to think of themselves as just a little indie studio but what, if any, responsibility do they bear for these issues when they knew how impactful Silksong would be?

Mahmoud Hakim

Hey Minnmax and Jason! Let’s say you are asked to design a course about video games (it’s up to you whether it’s on history, analysis, or design), what are the games you’d have to include and why? Here’s the catch: - You can only choose three games. - Your students are a bunch of bored high schoolers who aren’t readily engaged.

If there was a Podcaster job class in Final Fantasy Tactics, what would it look like and what abilities would it have?

Mike Lynch

Where does your napkin go? Table, knee, or lap?

Casey Mattos

Last week Ben said that he's "excited that the Silent Hill 'community' has something good to look forward to" with the release of SHf, and that struck me—a huge Silent Hill fan—as an odd way to put it. "The Silent Hill Community" instead of "Silent Hill Fans." Maybe I'm thinking about it too much but I think there is certainly a distinction. I guess I've never considered myself a part of ANY community, including this one. I pay for it, sure, and enjoy the hell out of it, but no media or content type has never given me a sense of belonging to some kind of social group exclusive to myself or from others. I've never been much of a poster or commenter, I don't need personal friends to share my interests to remain friends with them, and I especially don't think better of a stranger because they like a thing I like. There's so many things! Am I a weird freak who's potentially missing out on some sort of connection by joining specific subreddits/discords/communities, or is there anyone here today who shares my sentiments? (Maybe we can start an anti-community community.)

Tess

Hello MinnMax! It is time for Horse or Human!! It was brought up on Pew Pew Bang's Horse episode that someone should make this quiz, so please tell me if the following names are 2025 American College Football Players or Japanese Dirt Classic Winning Horses Forever Young (Horse) General Booty (Human) Mick Fire (Horse) Danon Pharaoh (Horse) Demon Clowney (Human) Squirrel White (Human)

One of my favorite games ever is The Witcher III but it isn’t a game that I immediately latched onto. In fact, I bounced off it multiple times before it clicked and I fully dove in. Question for the cohort: Have there been any games that just didn’t hit the first time around but that you grew to love/appreciate later down the line?

Tom Brien

What's your favourite EA game? There are a lot of good ones! EA looks really cool

Dusty Beaman

Hey Mr. Schreier, I have loved listening to your books on Audible. Can you tease or announce what book is next? Appreciate all your journalistic efforts and thanks for coming on MinnMax!

Blaine Farrell

With the announcement of Ben Hansen new kiddo. I was thinking about when I was a kid and all the weird niche games I've had as a kid. One I foundly remember is choroq. Question what is a weird niche game you remember playing when you where younger

Josh LaBaw

It seems like it was always said "the Japanese Voice Acting is better, play with subtitles on" is that still true in 2025?

Jacob Mazanowski

Do you assume a player character can or cannot swim?

Jacob Mazanowski

What’s your favorite “kid” movie/show? I love Shrek and Bluey is also amazing

Sky Fellowship

What was the first game that made you learn a new control scheme? Genuinely avoided Dual Analogue for longer than I should've, it was stubborness more than anything, of not wanting to learn a new setup when I'd gotten so good with the old one, but then Metal Arms Glitch In The System (Remaster please?) dropped, there was absolutely no control setup that didn't use the right analogue to aim. So, finally the moment had came to learn this new system and it was because Metal Arms was such an amazing game and turns out dual analogue is a great way to control the camera in shooters, who knew? Now, I just learn the new system when it drops, because it's usually implemented for a reason, but again, stubborn kid vs adult moment.

Dan Villone

What would a developer need to do to get you to choose the "evil/renegade" path for your FIRST playthrough of a new game?

Jeorin

Hey MinnMax crew and Jason too, How much do we think Sony is going to charge for their new Elevate speakers? And how much would you be willing to pay for them?

Limp Bizquick

What would your mom say your favorite games are?

b_wood

There is so much troubling news in the world. The frequency & the impact contributes to feeling hopeless. Do you share that sentiment? What do you do to help yourself feel hopeful about the future? Do you have any recent stories that inspire hope?

Vilis

Hola MinnMax, I've noticed some people bemoan the fact they have to play through Silent Hill f several times to "Get the real story" even though it's a relatively short game and, kinda fits thematically. If it was a long game I could see the frustration, but is this a mechanic still valid today when people crave instant gratification or a one and done experience? I like it, but just interested in the topic.

SlickJames

Who are your top 3 ladies in all of fiction? Could include anything from movies, comics and games.

FinalSin

Hey all, being that it's just about spooky season, and most people live in old homes, and probably good chance someone died there...have any of you had a ghostly experience inside or outside of your homes?, guess also do you believe in ghost??

KayBree

Hello! How old does a piece of entertainment have to be for you to feel comfortable hearing a spoiler about it? I'm mostly in the camp of a year, and if I haven't seen it within a year of it coming out then it's fair game.

ThomperPippin

Hey MinnMax! What's a game you've always wanted to play because you suspect it might really provide some insight to your understanding of the medium as a whole, and maybe even help your writing/critique/thinking about games? I'm thinking less of a "backlog" vibe, and more along the lines of professional development or education. Some of those classic games that are famous (or infamous) for being tough to crack in one way or another, but worthwhile if you have the time, access, and determination.

Galaxjul730 (Chuck)

Is Microsoft just throwing in the towel at this point when it comes to the Xbox as a console? Thinking the recent price hikes and games coming out for PS5 it’s over.

Luis

What’s the most surprising reaction you’ve ever gotten to one of your videos or projects?

Pablo Castillo

How often do you all try saving questions throughout the week to send to your favorite podcasts? Bonus question: How often do you think MM's question of the week goes to questions curated by the question sender?

Kapsilon

I've never had so much trouble picking my own game of the year. I'll ask the professional Two Tens debaters: Do you think GOTY should be your *favorite* game of the year, or the most *important* game of the year? In the case that those are not the same game.

CptCobblePot

Whats the weirdest and/or best cameo in media? I was watching Men In Black 2 and Michael Jackson pops up on a video call with Agent Z asking to be Agent M and it’s just a bit the whole movie. Conan O’Brien gives you a pretty decent upgrade in Death Stranding 1. What better ways could you spend a production budget?

RamenDoodlesArt

Which video game character would you date if you had to face off all the antagonists in their franchise to date them (Scott Pilgrim Style) ?

notweirder

Hey Minnmax, I've been thinking about the NYU's Game Center department . Recently we've had several projects emerge from current and former members of the school: There's Baby Steps, created by two professors (Bennett Foddy and Maxi Boch) and one graduate (Gabe Cuzillo). Another is Consume Me, led by two graduates (AP Thompson and Jenny Jiao Hsia). The game actually originated from a prototyping class taught by Foddy. The lead programmer and designer of Despelote, Julián Cordero, is another graduate of the program (with Cuzillo producing). Some of Jacob's favourites, Universal Paperclips and Betrayal At Club Low, are both from current faculty members. I love how this small pocket of the industry is constantly producing boundary pushing games. Are there any communities of game developers that you like to keep an eye on?

SunniDee22

Hello MinnMax Quartet + Jason, Is there a game you could not finish because of something the game physically made you do? For me, it was Hades. The constant button mashing to dodge late game enemies, hurt the meaty part of my thumb so much I uninstalled the game. Thanks!

CptCobblePot

What’s up with Destiny 2 still dropping DLC, isn’t it time they shelve that game and move on to greener pastures?

Hello Cohorts! Rest in peace, AOL Dial Up. The service ended this week after nearly 35 years. Can you potentially make this segment terrible to hear by giving your best dial up noise impression? Hiya everyone! During the intro to last weeks podcast, Ben introduced JeffM as "being served some Jeff Marchiafava today" to which he replied "that's me, piping hot." Nobody else received a food-based introduction. With Ben going on break soon, can this void be filled and the remaining cohorts, indeed including Jason, receive the food-based intros they deserve while there's still time?

Josh Lamm

What's something you wish you could "steal" from another podcast to have on your own?

Tikwid

With the success of Blippo+, there's more attention being paid to the (amazing) Play Date in general along with the influx of retro handhelds and the trending of 3ds love and nostalgia, what do you think the future of niche consoles for sickos (posi) looks like? Do you think companies are going to realize what an untapped market there is for people who, for example, bought a Play Date? We're out here and we're ravenous for these kinds of experiences in gaming.

Maks Wribeast

Hi Jason and Cohorts! In light of soon releasing Hyrule warriors and PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC having Sonic levels. Why do publishers not often releasing crossovers of their own IP? It sounds like you could combine audience of both franchises wihout needing to share with another publisher. Want street racing with more destruction? Need for Speed: Burnout Blizzard have trouble with Ghost game? Call of Duty: Terran Warfare Nintendo please let another green clothed L-named guy save his princess in The Legend of Daisy.

Jason Wojnar

How different did you grow up compared to your parents? My mother grew up in the woods with no electricity and most of the food she ate she grew herself and as someone who grew up in urban environments that still boggles my mind.

Alex McMillan

Hello Minnmaxxers, Survivor 49 started last week, and in among all the usual strategy talk and shelter building, there was a conversation about Super Smash Brothers. Specifically, Project M, the Brawl mod that makes it play like Melee. This is far and away the most niche video game conversation I have ever seen on a TV show. Pair this with the fact that earlier this month, Xenoblade Chronicles got namedropped on Days of Our Lives, and we are truly living in the golden age of specific game references on mainstream television. My question is, what is the most unexpected reference to a video game you have ever seen out of context? Be that in TV, movies, or day-to-day life.

Hello MM crew and Jason! I' currently cruising my way trough Silent Hill f, I' having a great time but it's abbundantly clear what was important to get right from the devs (the atmosphere/setting) and what wasn't (the combat/enemy variety), it's almost like they maxed out a single stat for a character in an RPG. What are some games that maxed out one or two stats but are left lacking in others?

Howdy, I stopped playing Silk Song after 20 hours of gameplay because I felt like it was being disrespectful with my time as a player. Inversely, I have gotten every achievement for Persona 5 Royal after 108 hours of gameplay; my question is, what does it take for a game to be respectful of your time in todays market where there is an absolute deluge of games to play, and when do you know it's time to throw in the towel? Regards

You MUST get a full-size back tattoo and it MUST be of game cover art. What are you picking?

With the recent announcement of Yakuza Kiwami 3, I'm curious what you all think is the best path forward for a struggling fan of the series. I've finished Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1, Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Ishin and I'm in the middle of Yakuza 4 but have definitely lost steam. For a series that is putting out new installments faster than I can finish the old ones, I feel like I'll never get to the newer Like a Dragon titles? If you were me, would you just keep pushing on? Wait for more Kiwami versions? Skip ahead to Yakuza: Like a Dragon? How do you all approach these, multi-generation spanning series?

Why do some things get a free pass? I feel ninentdo and sony in particular. When they do bad it makes a blip. Xbox does something and it is a year long problem. I was really disappointed in FF tactics on switch 2. The aspect ration leaves bars on all sides. Why? Everything looks a bit fuzzy. The font is crazy small. None of it is adjustable or optimized. I wanted to play on the bike but it is impossible to see unless youre holding right up to your face.

Hi gang. Thoughts on the new pricing model for Game Pass? Surprised they didn't change it much sooner honestly. Just a shame it doesn't seem like it will be good value anymore. I love trying out new games on it.

Imagine a world where indies completely swept Keighley's Game Awards. What, if anything, would change in the gaming industry? Among devs, publishers, influencers, consumers...?

What’s your gaming hot take? One positive and one negative? Positive: Playing Indie games on the steam deck in bed as the wife watches tv is the best way to game Negative: Nintendo games are not that interesting

If MinnMax was the pantheon for a hero (like in Hades II), what would each member of the crew today have as their personal boon for that hero to pick up?
