Hi everyone, I'm going to be honest, I'm really just writing in hoping that you can forward this to The Leo//Win Show. But if you want to answer it too, that's fine. How do you guys like your nachos? Do you like the simple ones with just chips and cheese or do you prefer those bougie ones that add meat, sour cream, guacamole and all those other fancy things? I like mine simple, chips, nacho cheese sauce, and jalapenos. That's all you need in life.

Travis in Fargo

Would you rather be 10% better at video games, 20% better at cooking, or 30% better at throwing stuff?

Jump On Everything

At what point did your favourite game become your favourite? Was there a specific moment in the game, or maybe something happened in your life that changed how you felt about it?

Bob Buel

Big Leo//Win fan, first time MinnMaxer. 5 dollar bet. Will Doke V come out before 2030?

Blazingscourge

Hey Minnmax, do you like having a traditional cake on your birthday or do you opt for alternatives options like pie, cheesecake, etc?

CaffeineDad

Hey gang! On Pew Pew Bang, Sarah mentioned drinking UV Blue in college, and Haley said she was living her best life with her super cool beer tower. That got me thinking: what was your college alcoholic drink of choice and what has it become now that you’re older? I’ve gone from Lime-A-Rita’s in college to gin & tonics almost 15 years later, and I think that shows some real growth!

Justin Dale

The year is 2026… I am just starting Marvels Spider-Man 2 after being talking into it by the MinnMax discord. I skipped it mostly due to the 2 10’s discussions … My question is (jokingly) why did you do this game so dirty?!

Palo

Hey all, do you think 15-20 years from now we'll all be laughing at the current era of The Game Awards? Much like how we now can laugh (and cringe) at the awards of 15-20 years ago? Or is that bygone era uniquely embarrassing? How do you envision these shows improving in the future?

Travis in Fargo

Do you have any specific taste or smell sense memories associated with video games? When I was very young, we would rent an NES from our neighborhood video rental store, and the owner would smoke cigars in the back office, so the bag the console came in smelled like cigar smoke. But to me, it was just the NES smell, and I didn’t realize it was cigar smell until I was in high school. Also: MGS5 tastes like chipotle Bitchin’ Sauce.

Malcolm Holliday

Hey MinnMax! I finished Consume Me this week, it was deeply resonating game filled with charm and style. In the game Jenny had bites, todo lists and time management as main mechanics, if you had a semi-autobiographical game about your life what would the main mechanics be?

Greg Varney

Is there a single re-make that you are glad was made as opposed to the same development team making a brand new game?

Neal McMahon

I was playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on Nintendo Switch Online recently and came across the Tingle Tuner feature, where you could plug in your GBA and unlock this cool little side experience. It got me thinking about how awesome it was when Nintendo had two hugely successful systems running side by side — like the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy era, or the Nintendo DS and Wii. Those really felt like the good old days. It makes me wonder: do you think Nintendo will ever do something like that again with the Nintendo Switch 2 — or even ever again at all? It seems almost too much to focus on just one at times.

Tortolia

With Slay the Spire 2 and Vampire Crawlers launching in close proximity to each other, we've got an instance of two games in a similar genre taking dramatically different approaches to one another but both succeeding at what they do. What is your favorite mismatched pair of game releases?

RynaGoGo

Howdy MinnMax, Andy Dick was the best man at my wedding. I’ve know him since the 6th grade and he’s basically my brother. Not THAT Andy Dick though. He just unfortunately shares the name. Have you ever met someone with a celebrity name? If not, whats the coolest celebrity name you could share? Is it Andy Dick?

Neal McMahon

When NPCs have that bubble, three dots, explanation mark, or some other symbol by them, indicating that they can be spoken to do you have a hard time not speaking to everyone?

Neal McMahon

As a proud new dad to a 2-month-old, I’ve found that playing my Switch 2 fits perfectly into this phase of life—picking it up when she dozes off, putting it down the second she starts fussing, and repeating that cycle all day. That said, I’ve started to notice the face buttons feel really loud and clicky. I swear they’ve woken her up a few times. I get that not everyone is gaming around a newborn, but I imagine anyone who plays handheld in bed trying not to wake their partner might relate. Curious—has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

Infinite

Howdy gang, A few days ago I started playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and am really enjoying it. I realize its not exactly the new hotness and my main groups of friends frankly doesn’t care. So here I am with opinions, bereft of an audience to share them with. Whats the best game you’ve ever played that you had absolutely no one to talk about it with? Thanks and have an awesome week!

landsealion

Where do you "hangout" online? reddit? discord? bluesky?

Frostphorus

Its not good to let purchases define you. but if you were to... what items have you purchased, or would purchase, that you would want to define you as a person?

Tess

Hey MinnMax! How many buildings exist where you've been in every room, and what are they?

Pelicanman

Missed joke opportunity: On last week’s show, Ben asked JeffM “does the abacus count?” as a toy from his childhood. (Get it? He’s old!) JeffM should’ve - and in fact needed to have - said, “yes, that’s exactly what it does.”

Forest Lassman

When did you first encounter bugs? Not video games bugs but real life insects. Did you have any favorites growing up?

Michael Lunt

How much do you worry about being able to play your favourite games in future decades? I regret going digital-only for this generation so I've recently started repurchasing physical editions of my digital library so I can still play them when I'm old(er) and nostalgic.

Jeeo Banogy

Woa! Is that Leo from the Leo//Win show? Nice grab! Speaking of grabs, though, all of the Steam Controller reviews hitting the internet has got me interested in gyro controls. Historically its always something I haven't paid any attention to in other controllers, but all the reviews highlighting the feature has gotten me wondering if I should be trying it out. Has there been a modern feature of controllers/gaming that you've mostly ignored or done without?

WeGoGiant

Say you have the ability to steal any single object or item from any fictional world to use in the real world however you want. The catch is whatever character owns that object also becomes real and can try to get it back from you. What are you stealing and what is your plan to deal with the object's rightful owner?

Josh LaBaw

How is the dominance of audio-visual and now AI-generated writing impacting the current day & future of games writing? Does games journalism/writing have a future beyond a tiny niche?

ValorZard

hi! i paid the 5 dollars for the membership for this month for the Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection code, but i can only really afford to pay for one month. Do I still get the code? I canceled my membership because I dont want the recurring charge

Blanderson

Hey MinnMaxle Roses! If you could wake tomorrow and be an expert in any one thing what would it be? Love of the non-parasocial variety, Andy

I_Am_Magnus

Hey all REPLACED was one of my most anticipated games of the year and before it released I was certain it would get a lot of traction but now we're on week three and it feels like I'm the only one playing it? Have you ever been hyped for a game thinking everyone else was only to find out you were way more niche than anticipated?

Sky Fellowship

What are some of your favourite games still locked to a console? And do you own any related hardware specifically to play them? Examples, a PS Vita for Uncharted Golden Abyss or an XBOX just for Jet Set Radio Future.

Geoff Enright

I rewatched Batman 89 in the last week. GET OUTTA MY HEAD

Shawninator

Games these days are all about gambling and lootboxes, so what's they best things you've ever won? Either from a giveaway, contest, raffle, or anything else. I once got the closest to the number of jellybeans in a jar at my middle schools library! My prizes included some books and a very bizarre Star Trek computer game that came with these bulky glasses you could plug in to make it 3D, and this was before 3D was cool! I never got it to work, but that test image of a rock while attempting to set it up was pretty sweet.

Stevelution

Hey MinnMax crew. What word would you ban from the English language if you had the power to?

Arbz0414

Hello there, So far gaming companies have covered the senses of sight, sound, and touch. Do you guys think that in the future, there will be games that introduce smell or taste, like for example the PS6 announcing that their controller will produce a smell when the player is in a certain location, like the smell of bread if they go to a bakery.

Seneca Kier

What reality show would you go on if you knew you would get significant screen time? Let’s assume that your respective partners are all okay with you going on a dating show or something like survivor where you’ll be gone for extended periods of time and you will face no consequences for your absence or upon your return

Trebor Treebeard

Have you ever considered putting your pants on both legs at a time? Then when you meet adoring fans, you'd have to find some other way to relate to them.

Jack Seage

Ahoy hoy, MinnMax live!! In Jacob Geller's latest Nebula bonus video, he describes what ingredients he would want on a sandwich named after him. If I go to MinnSnacks (the only deli focused on games, friends, and getting butter) what does your namesake sandwich look like??

thejjuan1

Hi Minnmax crew. What event/show got you the biggest case of FOMO? It was the Final Fantasy 14 FanFest over the weekend. Man, I wanted to go there. I was just on social media all weekend. Looking at everyone having a great time. Next FanFest I’m definitely going. Also is there any chance the crew is finally going to play FF14 now? Now it’s free up to Shadowbringers. Which is the best Final Fantasy story of all time.

Vilis

Double Fine fan question about Kiln: Can I make the Massive Chalice from Massive Chalice in Kiln, or is that too complex for the game??

Fancygraham

I know AAA games are taking longer to make. On paper, that seems like a negative. But in reality, isn’t it kinda good thing? People are constantly saying it’s hard to keep up with new releases. Do we really want a world where we’re constantly inundated with new AAA releases?

ChickenHarm

On the last show Jacob was saying that he bought a Steam Link but doesn’t use it. The steam link is one of my greatest purchases. It takes up minimal space on our TV stand and allows me to play my steam games in the living room. Granted, I had to do some fancy wiring to hook up my ethernet connection from my 2nd floor modem. It’s not perfect, it’s limited to 1080p and my controller randomly disconnects, but it lets me game at the end of the night while my wife reads a book or watches me play. Otherwise, I’d be isolated in my office to play, and probably have to give up gaming for other hobbies. How do you balance your gaming time with spending time with your spouse and other hobbies?

Nathan Ryer

Hey MinnMax! Stores like Lawson’s in Japan regularly partner with Nintendo for lottery based super cool exclusive merch and other treats. So why are Japanese konbini so awesome and American convenience stores suck ass? (At least the ones in Florida are pretty universally terrible)

Duderado

What's your favorite game you never finished? I often consider Planescape: Torment to be one of my favorite games but I never technically beat it.

kajmo

Hey gang, What are some of the most memorable tricks game developers play on players? I'm a sucker for walking into a space and finding the door you entered through gone/changed

Wilson Delaney

Hey MinnMax, less a question and more a news story I haven't see a lot of people talking about. IGN, who bought GamerNetwork in UK a few years back, just fired all of Eurogamer's video team. The channel had been going for 14 years and had helped launch the careers of some of the UKs best gaming voices, including Chris Bratt of People Make Games, as well as Aoife Wilson and Johnny Chiodini, who are two big names in the UK actual play scene. As a brit of exactly the right age to have been with the channel from the start, I can safely say that I wouldn't care much about the games industry without their videos, so I wanted to take a quick moment to shout them out. Thankfully, Eurogamer as a site is still going, but this round of layoffs also affected behind the camera staff at OutsideXbox/Extra, and has been a huge blow to the UK games media landscape. This also comes after IGN shutdown VG247s channel last year, and pulling the plug on Dicebreaker, one of the UKs big table top gaming news outlets. These were channels with decent number (thought not massive) and a specific UK voice. So is this the case of a big company not valuing smaller voices? A cold business move? Or the inevitable consequences of video not being as big as it used to be? And are we too North American centric in games media or am I just a bitter brit? Also, if you want to support the affected Eurogamer video team, both Ian Higton and Zoe Delahunty-Light have YouTube channels that are great.

Jacob Mazanowski

Housemarque has now made 2 games with incredible game feel. The way it feels to move a character around is one of my favorite things when done well. This got me thinking. A short 2 round bracket for “things done well” in games would be fun. This is a short bracket so I only included the first that came to mind. Feel free to interpret how you would like to pick a winner between things like game feel and music. Gameplay Round 1: Feel: Housemarque Vs Insomniac Progression Hooks: Hades Vs Hollow Knight Round 2: Winner Feel Vs Winner Progression Hooks ———— Art Round 1 Music: Square Vs Atlus Visual Art Direction: Kojima Vs Santi Monica Round 2 Winner music Vs winner art direction ———— (Runner up if you want: loser gameplay vs loser art) Championship: Winner Gameplay Vs Winner art

Random Oil Man

With solo devs like Cosmo D (Moves of the Diamond Hand) developing and self-publishing their own games still, what does the label "indie" mean to you in 2026? What's the cut off point?

Kevin Kuper

Hello! What would be your ideal menu for a night of gaming? For example I like to be able to get a multi-player match in as a an appetizer and then get to my main course, the primary single player I'm playing, and then a desert like a cozy game. Thanks!

Richard Hayes

Choose one game and all the food in that game becomes real food you can eat. What game do you choose?

Jeorin

Hey MinnMax crew, Would you play a simulator game based on the first job you ever worked?

notspacecat

Hi Minn Maxx! Your Deconstructeam spotlight has me thinking again about their game The Red Strings Club. I think it may have been overlooked as the *other* cyberpunk bartending indie game. VA-11 Hall-A released about two years before Red Strings and is still a beloved indie darling, though in my opinion The Red Strings Club is a better game in most every way. My question is: can you think of any other two pieces of media that came out around the same time and feature such similar subject matter that comparisons between them are unavoidable? Bonus questions: was one more successful than the other and do you have a strong preference for one over the other?

Nate Voris

If Leo could transfer his curse of his interest/passion for a game being it's death knell, would he transfer it to another person or would he choose to heroically continue to carry this burden? Would Rumbleverse coming back as part of the curse transfer sway him at all?

Aging_Poorly

Help I’m sick. What’s the go-to sick meal? Must be reasonably simple to cook, thanks!

BEEFCAKE

Hey Benny and the buddy bunch! I booted up Twisted Metal 2 the other day, a game that I used to beat as like an 8-year-old and I was like surely this is going to be easier because I am a big boy now. And I could barely get past the first level after multiple tries. Have you ever Revisited a game from your childhood and realized you were actually pretty good at it back then? PS I also didn't know there was a password level select Mega Man style and I always just started the whole game over as a kid

Swansonge

Hey buds and bosses, last week’s discussion of edutainment had me thinking about how we learn through video games in general— what non edutainment game did you feel like you learned something from?

Mathias Jülich

Hey ho! What makes IP suitable for game adaptation? Characters, ideas, setting, aesthetics? And is Bond the ultimate IP for a successful video game? Tschüss Mathias from Berlin

Victor Pham

Can you guys talk more about fighting games please? 🥺

Adam

I really struggle connecting to games like Nier and Pragmata, because I will never believe robot characters are alive so I don't care what happens to them. Astrobot was fun, but I rolled my eyes during cutscenes. Who cares if he breaks? He's a thing, he just mimics thoughts, it's like crying over microwave oven. I know these characters are exactly as alive as Mario or Link or Kratos. How do I get past this?

Rikimaru

Hey MinnMax! How many "good" video games are there? On SteamDB there are 172k listed "games" on Steam. Certainly there is a lot of shovelware but also, Steam doesn't have everything. From retro games to solo projects on Itch, it feels like there are more good games than most would think. For contrast, according to a Google study from 2010 they calculated 129 million distinct books with 2-3 million published each year. So there is most certainly 1 million good books out there right? How long until there are 1 million good video games? Note: Metacritic currently has 14,171 listed games and over 5,835 with a score of 70 or higher.

Alon Zwick

InKONBINI had me asking an age old question: why is it fun to play mundane jobs when in real life I would hate doing it? Why is cleaning so much nicer to do in games than in real life? Writing this question when I have a mountain of laundry to fold next to me :(

SuperThisWay

Hello cohorts! How and when do you restart a level? Do you restart when you know the “run” is going to go bad, do you let your character die or do you try to see if you can turn it around and finish it out?

SlyCut

Hello all, To the females on the panel, would you be a Bond girl if given the opportunity? Bonus question: Who is the best Bond girl?

Thom Blackburn

This one's a thinker. What do you Go Back and Forth on?

SenttheProphet

Are we prepared to call 2030 and on, the “30’s”? In the next four years will we have to accept that we must always say the “1930’s” to not confuse with the upcoming decade?

Hieronymus Josh

Do all sandwiches have a top and a bottom? Sometimes, I bite a sandwich and when I put it back on the plate, I think to myself, "Woops, that's upside down."

Juniper Cain

Hi Minnmax! Imagine that for a month, whenever you see yourself reflected back (in a mirror, in a photo, wherever) you appear as a videogame character. Nobody else sees this, everybody else in the world still sees your regular self, but for one month you can only see yourself in the form of a specific character from gaming history. Who would you choose?

Chris Pelley

If they Freaky Friday -ed, who would do better: James Bond doing an archeological heist or Indiana Jones on a sexy spy mission? Who would want to switch back first?

Travis in Fargo

If you could attend a concert of any band or musician playing their take on any video game soundtrack, what would you choose?

Pablo Castillo

When was the last time you guys made a friend not related to school/work? How'd that happen? How's the friendship currently? What recommendations do you have for people trying to make friends?

Michael Berry

What is one thing that you will most likely never do, but you think about a lot? I always think about driving a zamboni machine. I am curious if you have to get a certification to drive it and it seems peaceful smoothing ice.

Arturo Perez

Hi Minnmax! what was the last thing to make you happy? have a great day!

Catpurrnicus

Do you know how to pick fruit/vegetables are do you just say good enough?

pork bun powered

Hi MinnMax! We all know learning is part of the fun, but is there any video game that you wish you could point at and just be instantly good at it? Not necessarily elite, but say, above average? For example, I tried to learn Dota 2 to play with my friends, but it took so long until I was having any fun, and I still couldn't keep up with my friends anyways. If I could wave a wand and instantly be "Archon" rank (~top 40%), I would do it in a heartbeat. Sincerely, feeding in Seattle

George Perry

Howdy gang! I was wondering - have the fans of a media property ever turned you off from watching/playing it? Or has a show/film/game etc ever been ruined for you because of the fandom?

George Perry

Question mainly for Ben but open to everyone! Do you think there's a "sweet spot" with how popular you'd like to see MinnMax become? Whilst yes, more viewers/patrons equals more money, it can also bring about more challenges & scrutiny than a smaller community might bring. Do you think the vibes would be the same if MinnMax became a gaming media juggernaut and, would that be so bad?

Travis in Fargo

What video game do you own the most copies of? WHY?!?

J.Vaso

I love Janet Garcia for her inflammatory takes. Sometimes I think she's criminaly insane and sometimes i think she's the smartest person on earth but no matter which side I'm on, she is cooking. So all that being said, what's your most inflammatory take?

Andrew Clabaugh

Hey Minnmax cohorts!! As licensed games based on movies/shows have largely become a thing of the past, I was wondering if there are any recent movies/shows (let’s say within the past ten years) that you think could be made into a cool game? I’m talking Peter Jackson’s King Kong levels of cool here. Where’s our Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow roguelike? Where’s our I Think You Should leave WarioWare style game??

Craig Brown

Hey Gang, What would another PC storefront/platform have to do to dethrone Steam? Is it possible?

bizkiut (Nick S.)

For the getting better part of the podcast, I haven't gone to a primary care doctor in a long time. I finally have insurance, but still have a hard time to make the phone call. Can you all yell at me to make a doctor appointment?

Bob Buel

What’s your favorite part of Chex Mix? I’m a rye chip boy. Always have been, always will be.

Sergio

Hello cohorts! Do you understand the industry more or less since joining MinnMax? Are you clearer on what you want to do within it?

Dustin Davis

Kiln makes me think of clay art I made in grade school - does anybody have any art they made in grade school that they're proud of, or that their parents put on the fridge?

Virgil B

Do you think kids having a structured schedule is good for them? Like being assigned to all the clubs, bands, sports etc. Or should they have more freedom to choose what to do with their time

Zayan Hafeez

My older kid turned 7 a couple months ago. My second is turning 6 in a couple months. So for the rest of the year my kids' ages will be.... Please help.

Travis in Fargo

I’m trying to think of a fun, new response to when someone sneezes. So far, I’ve got “hey, calm down!” Can you help me solve this?

Matthew W

Hi MinnMax, if you liquefied all of the content that MinnMax has produced, what would be the (ballpark) total volume?

Darwin

Hey Minnmaxers! When it comes to romantic companions in videogames, would you say you have a Type? And if so, does it seem to reflect your current (or previous) partner(s)? I noticed that I tend to select characters that are headstrong but secretly softies, what about ya'll? Thanks!

Axel Jrpg

Hello everyone, I’ve been losing sleep thinking about what constitutes a “build” in a video game. In the Mario and Luigi RPG series, you get to allocate one bonus stat per level up, does that mean that you are “building” Mario and Luigi? Is choosing stats enough? Is choosing an axe over a sword in a rpg but having no stat differences enough to haha an “axe” build? Basically what is the minimum a game can do to have builds in their game. Am I making sense? Am I nuts?? Help me out here I need sleep

Graham Jones

If you could only play 5 more unreleased/unannounced games for the rest of your life, what would they be and what process would you use to select them?

Shawn Mills

Now that Mario and Sonic both have successful movie franchises, do you think we will ever see a movie featuring both characters together? Mario and Sonic at the olympics: the movie could be powerful.

Joey Smith

What’s your favorite building? Mine is the Carbide & Carbon Building in Chicago. It’s a cool green and gold art deco tower that stands out among much taller buildings.

mikeygee

Hello MinnMax! What are some signs that you have been gaming too much and know you need to put the controller down?

LlorchDurden

is 007 Everything or Nothing (GC,PS2,OG XBOX) the BEST 007 game ever made?

Fancygraham

Inspired by bonus pod’s discussion on Frieren, what’s your favourite title sequence from any show?

Jason Wojnar

Maybe I missed it but I feel like Sarah has never talked about what it’s like being fluent in another language. As someone who also learned another language in adulthood (in my case Ukrainian and I’m very fluent) I would love to hear more about it.

Empiric Unicorn

One of the last gaming memories with my father was playing "Twinsens Adventure" or as it was called in my part of Europe "Little Big Adventure", you mock the game since it was poorly marketed and unsuccessful in the States, but over here it was a huge hit. Imagine playing an adventure game with 3D-characters, Animated cut-scenes and CD-quality music the same year as Final Fantasy VI came out on the SNES in 1994! Still love hearing you talk about this series that America forgot, keep up the good work!

Jordan Watson

I recently won a code for 007 First Light from a soda promotion. What’s the best thing you’ve ever won?

Gary

How does overwork manifest itself in your life? Do you have a "tell" that you look out for personally to know that you are burning out?

resnet

Hi MinnMax! What do you crack open when you "crack open a cold one with the boys"? Also hi Sarah! You should know you got me into Deadlock and take of that what you will.

Luca Alberti

Hello MM crew! Do you ever think about infamously bad games (think Superman 64) and if there's a small chance you might be one of the few "chosen" who would actually enjoy them? There's probably a handful of people who will enjoy any game, no matter the general consensus. What if I am the biggest fan of The Quiet Man and don't get to experience it?

Victor Hensley

Howdy MinnMax! I’ve been following along with Janet’s dive back into Silksong’s third act — it even inspired me to hop back into Act 3 after falling off months ago — and it got me curious: how often do you revisit unfinished games from the previous year’s Two Tens? Given the nature of the job, do you ever feel the pressure to always play new releases because games from last year don’t “count” toward this year’s GOTY discussions?

Machine Gun Keeley

Hey MinnMax, The MinnMax community is on a charter flight headed towards the MinnMax Community Cruise. What do the cohorts agree are the best snack and drink options? You have 5 snacks and 5 drinks to offer your group of rowdy passengers, how do you prevent a mid-air coup d'etat?

urban_radagast

Howdy yall! In the gallery section of Gameinformer issue 270 (the Dark Souls 3 issue), there is an image of a badass Halo painting. Alongside the painting it is written "GI's video editor, who is also named Ben Hanson, is getting this art airbrushed onto the side of his van". Where is the van, Ben? Who was the artist? Ive been waiting to see it a whole decade now. I WANNA KNO! For the rest for the cohort, what video game would you like air brushed on the side of a van? I do think a Bomb Rush van would go seriously hard. Thank you! P.S. GI 270 is a great issue to look back on if yall get the time. I think doing so would make a fun newshow plus episode.

Cath

Hey everyone! Any suggestion what to listen to fall asleep?

Dominique Haneberg-Diggs

With the Steam Machine looming, Xbox remains committed to consoles, and the Switch 2 supporting more third party games, are we headed into Console War II? Is that good for the Industry?

J'nqa Valmohr

Lali-ho cohorts! This one is mainly for Sarah, but is anyone else excited for the critically-acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming Evercold expansion? They just finished announcing a ton of stuff at the North America Fanfest and I'm wondering if it's generated enough buzz to get anyone who doesn't play already interested in starting. I'm a lifelong Final Fantasy fan who resisted FFXIV for years because of it being an MMO. But it really is worth playing even if you're not into multiplayer, I swear! It seems like a huge deal to current players, but the multi-expansion barrier to entry prevents it from getting as much coverage as other flagship RPGs. Would love to hear everyone's takes, especially in the hopes that it could one day be a New Show Plus or gameplay stream.

Shane G

What do you typically do when faced with a character creator? Do you just use the default preset? Do you make yourself, or the you you wish you were, or somebody totally unlike you? Why? Typically how deep into the settings do you dare delve? I feel like this might say a lot about a person. Thanks.

SassyLuchador

My friend and I, Have been debating whether Pragmata is a souls-like or not. He says it has almost all the elements of a souls-like game, flasks, bonfires, a dodge mechanic and even the level design has shortcuts and hidden walls. But I am telling him most action games have these elements, and that Pragmata is an Action-Adventure 3rd Person Shooter. We need you to decide: Is Pragmata a souls-like or not? and what defines a souls-like. Love you guys

Brian Ventura

The Esports Episode from Pew Pew Bang was fantastic. It got me thinking a lot about esports compared to sports in general. For many people sports can be a bad time, understandably. For me, it ties very well into MinnMax’s “games, friends, and getting better”. I’m just curious, what is everyone’s best and worst experiences playing sports?
