Hey folks! After spending the last few days tinkering, I've finished a new essay, for your eyes only.  A 12-minute breakdown of a level in Kentucky Route Zero, which finds you piloting a little boat through a bat sanctuary. It has a lot to say about human impact on nature, and the necessity of carrying on living, even while the world heads down a dark path.

I adore this level, and I hope you'll be able to see why. No plot spoilers in this one, if that's something you're worried about.

I'm already hard at work on the next couple videos, and I'm looking forward to updating you on them soon. In the meantime, enjoy this one!

When you were about 2.5, we were out for a long walk and came upon a huge old tree that had been cut down. You bent over to hug it and say you were sorry that it had to die. That was one of many first glimpses at your beautiful, nature-loving heart. Love you, Lily, with all of mine. 💜
