The more I think about that interaction between Hannah and Katharina’s mother (Helene), the crazier it gets. Not only because we learn the origin of the St. Christopher necklace, which was gifted to Hannah and then passed on to Helene, but also because it can be assumed that Hannah is the reason Katharina is named Katharina in the first place! Especially when you consider she introduced herself as Katharina, and their brief conversation where Helene is visibly shown to be impacted by her words. I also loved the Origin reveal and him being the son of Martha and Jonas! This was such a great episode all around. GAHHH, this show just has nonstop twists. I can't believe we are halfway done with the season.... Let's not think about that though! LOL

We actually got two big reveals this episode. Not only is "The Origin" the son of Adam and Eva, but it is also beeing hinted at that "The Origin" is the father of Tronte. And that means that the Nielsen familytree is like Noah said a circle: Jonas + Martha 2 = The Origin The Origin + Agnes = Tronte Tronte + Jana = Ulrich Ulrich + Katharina = Mikkel Mikkel + Hannah = Jonas So Jonas is his own 3x-Great-Grandfather!

God I love seeing it laid out like this. It really does drive in the idea of it truly being a complete circle and just an endless loop... I tried to come up with a couple of loopholes after recording this episode, but Jonas really is essentially the catalyst for his own existence and bloodline. It’s insane how the Nielsen family tree just keeps looping back on itself. Makes me wonder if there’s any way out for any of them at this point.... LOL

There are actually two familytrees, one in Adams world and one in Evas, which are somewhat identical and connected by "The Origin". The question is how can there be two Trontes (one in each world) if there is only one "Origin". From a biological standpoint he has only one sperm cell to conceive one Tronte. There are two possible theories to solve this: 1. "The Origin" conceived Tronte only with the Agnes from Adams World and Tronte actually has a twin brother, who was sent into the other world. This would explain why Tronte was in a childrens home. 2. "The Origin" conceived Tronte with both Agneses. How this is possible from a biological standpoint will actually be explained later. I don't want to spoil this right now.
