Different strokes for different folks, that's all. Personally I enjoy the more tame pieces, rather than when they're massive or almost immobile. Sure that's nice sometimes, but a piece like this is like a pallet cleanser of sorts, and I'm grateful for it.

Size doesn't matter here, so I don't know why that was brought up. I'm wishing there was more of a middle ground between stuff like this that's... admittedly overly tame, and the stuff that's way too lewd. Something like belly play pics. We don't see many of those from Salt.

I brought up size because unfortunately that's a lot of what you see in comments here, mostly boiling down to "needs to be bigger" or something along those lines, without appreciation for more moderate pieces. It's simply part of what I like about the piece, that it's not overly sexual, but something that you'd see more likely than not irl. Plus, after a while it gets tiring seeing massive character after massive character, or immobile bordering on blob time after time. Sorry for the ramble.

Naw, you're good. I actually agree with you in that people should appreciate the more tame stuff at times (though if they don't, then we shouldn't shame them for it unless they're being obnoxious about it, not even acknowledging what's there). As for the size part, I only agree when it comes to artists who already do them pretty frequently (or a lot) and I personally don't view Salt in that camp. For how infrequent he does them, think it's fair for people to want him to do more of them (even if they need to improve on how they go about expressing it). ...I say all this after putting in an immobile character idea for a commission when comms were open.

Yeah that's fair, I don't see Salt in that camp either, and when he does do characters of that size, they're very well done. I think this thought of mine stems from so many fat artists doing borderline immobile stuff that I've just grown tired of it, so Salts art as a whole is something I look forward to, but especially the tamer pieces. Like chubby Nat for example, as good as she looks at her usual size, there's something about just seeing her chubby that makes her look nicer imo.
