I know it was a bit of a smaller project, but I still like to do these feedback posts whenever I finish a sequence/comic! What did you like about it, and what didn't you? What could have been done better?

Please comment some constructive criticism, so I can hopefully learn and do better in the future!

I personally would have liked to see the date. Maybe cut one of the parts (for me 4) and then replace it with the date.

I think the story was really good but her being only visible from the waist up for all of the sequence was a bit disappointing. Even if only at the beginning or end just some more full shots or different angles would have greatly improved the sequence in my eyes. Still a 8.5/10 sequence though!

I love the story and the character design got me right from the start. I only think that, while story wise I liked the ending, I expected there to be bit more impactful gain for the grand final. 🤔

I really enjoyed the sequence, just wished she got bigger personally. Maybe there'll be sequel to this, where the fast food worker is a feeder and causes the girl to blimp up and either get fired from her job, or promoted to a CEO or mascot position

Very personal opinion but the pov being ostensibly the viewer and called he did lower my own enjoyment of it but outside of that, i thought it was really good. I do agree that we should get this girl a name and would love to see more of her and her character beyond crushing on the guy. For short little comics like this, i feel the balance was really good of getting across what's going on, why, and letting the fanservice still have plenty of time in the spotlight

I would have enjoyed a profile shot and some light teasing from the pov character. As a big fan of bellies in general I would have liked her to have been a little rounder but I also really enjoyed the realistic super fat shape

WLW enjoyer here, was a little disappointed with the gendered male pov. The character design was pretty good and I loved the inner thoughts.

I really loved the POV and how each pic was a variation of the same perspective. I think I'm somewhat biased towards larger sizes, so the amount of space in the background DID leave me thinking that'd shed get bigger. Overall, I loved the concept and the execution, I wouldn't mind seeing more like it!

I'm not a huge fan of her body shape, but I acknowledge that's because I prefer the fantasy over realism. I'd be disappointed if you brought in stretch marks or cellulite, despite what others might be suggesting. I understand that it's more realistic, but they're drawings? I don't need realism in drawings, and I think people who want that are looking in the wrong place. Drawings are for fantasy.

I think the shorter FFTE are a nice way to set up and deliver a sequence, character, scenario, or just an experiment that doesn't need too much foundation to get where you want to go and what you want to show. I liked it. If you ever want to develop the character or story more you can, or move onto the next idea. My only real gripe, which I think I share with a few, I wish by the end we had a name for her. Sorry to put pressure on a minor detail, but FFTE girl is just... meh. Maybe a poll to decide her name? Either way, looking forward to future FFTE!

Definitely liked the sequence, would've loved to see more of her lower half imo. Definitely did like the male pov. Maybe we can get more parts with his perspective on her in the future? Like for spicey content or future sequences with her?

OH also i think having the perspective locked down to one angle was a clever way to speed up page uploads, especially cause it made sense that the POV would always be from behind that counter, but it did unfortunately make each page kinda blend together posing wise imo. I think for a future sequence like this maybe it could be interesting to see if a locked down side profile shot would work for a whole sequence?

It was a fun concept! I liked the consistent scenario/POV. I also thought the character (and fat) design were unique! I thought there'd be more, and was hoping to at least see a final POV of them on a date!

It was alright but I think it’s the worst of the feast your eyes collection. There only being one POV was kinda boring in my opinion, since it made the drawings feel repetitive. The girl is cute but I wish that her weight gain could’ve had a better pay off. The most we saw of her body was in 4.5. The ending didn’t feel satisfying. I like her body though, it’s unique compared to the other girls which I like. I hope this means we’ll get more unique features like cellulite or stretch marks.

I liked it very much. Calling it "Feast for the Eyes" may have caused people to have bigger expectations for it, though, since the others have been rather long stories--this is more a related sequence. But the locked-in POV was unique, and I like unique.

Although... This may reinforce the negative views of some--and it might be outright blasphemous around here--but... She was cutest in the first pic. Not that she wasn't attractive in the others, just the way you made her look with the hoodie and the wide eyes and everything. Wow!

I enjoyed the character development and internal monologue (it was very cute). ☺️ I liked the dialogue and character design! And, the POV from the secondary character was an engaging perspective tool. I would have liked it better if the story had gone on longer with more a variety of setting, poses, and character situations (more of the protagonist at work, the protagonist eating at the fast food place — crammed in a booth — maybe a couple of their dinner dates in an epilogue)

My favorite thing was the different body type you went with for it. I feel like it was going to have one more picture with more weight. I also think that adding dates would have been neat but that's a nitpick. Great stuff though!

Personally, I liked it. It's okay. The concept was great, and the execution was pretty good. If my only complaint is "I wish she got a bit fatter, or at least more noticeably fat." then it's not a big deal.

I liked it it was fun and very cute. I loved the premise of her working up the nerve then confidently marching in. love slow burns too. my only concern, as someone mentioned in the comments on the last page, you have to many great OCs!

I personally love the way you draw girls in the 160-220 range so I always love your sequences in particular. The office attire was a huge plus for me and the girl was cute!! She got a /little/ too big for my taste near the very end, but that’s what’s nice about sequences is that you can pick and choose your favorite point in the timeline. Honestly I’d prefer if you did stuff like this more often. LOVED the little sketch you did of her eating in the pencil skirt. Such a cute weight. Would love to see more of this character

I really liked the concept and the girl was (obviously) very cutely designed. I feel like we didn't really see much of her personality though, which is a big reason I like some of your OC's more than others. This also can just be tossed up to the story being quite short, however. The scenarios set within the restaurant and the POV shots restricted the fanservice a bit, as opposed to the beach comic for example, but I think you did very well within those constraints to still provide good angles, poses and different outfits. Lastly a very personal note, I always like new OC's, but they feel like they tread in the shadow of the legendary big four (and smaller fifth), I always find myself wishing you did more stuff with them instead of creating new ones. (This could be an audience-artist conflict as I can see you wanting to explore new styles, body types, and characters, instead of rehashing the same five girls. It's just more a testament to how much I like them I guess.) Ramblings over.

Thought it was very cute! Male pronouns for the pov characters added a bit more oomph to the story and made it feel more concrete, and like others have said, I also like that she just ended “fat” at the end and not closer to ussbbw levels

It was cute. Only thing I would’ve done differently was having a scene post-meal with a full, round belly. But that’s entirely personal preference.

It really could’ve used a conclusion of her being on a date with the protag (and as a lesbian, I think being gender ambiguous with the protagonist for POV stuff like this could be good!

For small project/comic, this was fun, creative and original, Especially for weight gain and your type of writing. The character design on the girl ( hope she gets a name soon ) Is super great! And the body that she gets as she’s gaining weight is also great in comparison to the other characters you created. Like I said, I love the creativity because it’s all In the perspective of the male character that we never see the face of. That’s great for a small series. I didn’t like the third to the last picture because it didn’t really look like she had gained a lot of weight so it was kind of forgettable piece mainly due to The pose that she Was doing. But you made up for it in the picture you posted on Saturday that was a side profile picture of her. And lastly, it all came together at the end with her demanding a date and coming off as a sexiest girl ever. It’s cute, sexy, and has some surprisingly good character development for a funny small comic. It’s not your best, which is saying a lot because you make so many great things over the years, but it’s a fun little treat in the middle of all the other stuff that you made.

Good comic, simple clear story, great range of weights and outfits, got to the point. 4.5 added a lot to mix it up. But I was sure with the door in the middle of every frame it was building towards a stuckage finale!

Gonna (try) to keep this short: Story.................................B+ (It was fun to follow her internal monologue and I found myself actually hoping for a happy ending for her!) Design..............................B+ (Lady was very cute, and 4.5 was very appreciated. Had hoped for a itty bit more change in the background between pages, but that's personal preference) Framing............................B+ (Simple but effective, highlighted the contrast in size) Overall:.............................B+ While Take Me Out wasn't made to be the next big thing, it was effective in what it did do, and once again I found myself pulling for her to get her happy ending, which helps Take Me Out stand out and carve a memorable identity amongst your other sequence/comics. Thank You for your hard work!

I don't think any of the options really capture my opinion. For what it was, I enjoyed it. The premise of the story is fine (WG motivations don't tend to be complex), the character design was different than other OCs so that was refreshing, it's just that I've enjoyed other sequences and OCs more.

I thought it was very good. The design was great, she definitely sticks out compared to the other OCs. With only 5 pages you couldn't really fit a lot of story in there, but there was enough. Some people say say they want to see more of the in-between and middle sizes, but again, only 5 pages. It was good for the shorter story that it was. I agree that I'd love a follow up piece one day of the eventual date.

I see a few comments displeased with the male POV (at least three), and that's fair (it's not for everyone, I get that) but personally, I liked it. As a guy, it made it more immersive. Plus, there's a lot of WLW content here too for the people who are super into that. (Nat x Halie, Shannon x Courtney, etc) I think it's good to have a mix of both, you know? I get that it was a turn off for some, and made them enjoy this particular work less than works like Couple Stuff, but it also makes it more enjoyable for those (like me) on the other end of things. Yuri is a turn off for me, but I understand that a lot (a LOT) of people really like it, and I'm glad there's stuff here that appeals to them, even if it doesn't appeal to me. And I've probably said way too much about this, so I'll shut up now, sorry. (Hope I didn't upset anyone too much, I try not to cause trouble)

Loved the character design, though that's my preference towards short-haired women talking. Loved how her body looked in the end. Loved the concept. I will say though, I felt it either needed a sixth part, or some kind of epilogue. As it is, the ending is funny, but it also felt abrupt and a bit underwhelming. I also kinda wish we knew more about the character (again, call me biased but Alexa seems like a fitting name, hehe). Like what's her job exactly? What does she like other than eating and the fast food guy? Otherwise, I really enjoyed this comic series.

The body shape/fat distribution of the protagonist lady is wonderful! She's got that upper belly fat-roll-thingy that Brooke also has (albeit at a much smaller scale) that I *crave*. Brooke is a little too slobby for my tastes, so I was ecstatic to see this gal put on weight in a similar way. Her short hairstyle is really cute, and I love her outfits (especially in part 5, she's looking mighty doughy in those jeans) Despite being in the PoV of the cashier, we can't see his thoughts (head empty. apropos?). The presence of male characters is something I'd like to see more of, so I'm curious if he's just there to be a storytelling device, or if there'll be more guys added to the cast. The amount of pages/parts limited the depth of the story, but the little details add up and make it a really fun sequence: Despite our lady protagonist having... mixed feelings about her weight gain, she still dresses cutely, and only works up the courage to ask/demand for a date at her heaviest. Also, I know the cashier is depicted as oblivious, but it's really sweet how he never acts differently because of her weight, much less directly mention her size. A lot of people seem to have wanted the date as another part, but I was alright with the open ending. However, you have so many great OCs already that I worry it might be a while until this character appears in the spotlight again. Nat, Halie, Sammy and Chloe are all part of the same group, so we tend to see them together; perhaps grouping other OCs together could alleviate the crowded rotation a bit?

I liked the story and character design, not-so-much the execution. A lack of any real panel layout makes for a less than ideal reading experience, if that makes sense? Inconsistently punctuating the end of each 'page' with a a cute internal dialogue reaction was great, but there are probably better ways of doing that. I kinda wish there was a more visible connection between her emotional state and her weight gain? I mean, she's in a fast food restaurant! There are all sorts of sounds and angles to pull from that could make the perspective feel less static. The coolest, recent example I've seen someone illustrate weight gain was actually in Issue #007 of habutton's 'Athletics Circle Girl' series, where we see a fluctuating line graph (just like the ones you sometimes see in weight loss apps) incorporated within the sequence. I thought that was a really innovative way of doing panel transitions in this type of comic. It's as if he has a copy of Wally Wood's '22 Panels That Always Work' taped next to his workspace! I dunno; something to consider. She's got that Dumplin body shape; hope to see more of her~!

Slurm

The POV aspect is a clever way to keep the same background images in every shot, which would save time and work for each piece. This could make the whole sequence also work as a slideshow to show the growth of the character. I noticed the posters changed to showcase bigger meals and higher prices to match her growth. If you wanted to avoid the ‘samey’ aspect of the images, some other minor changes like changing the register screen, moving some of the chairs so they’re not static, having crumbs or clutter on a table, or making the windows different shades of blue for time of day/weather or more of a orangey evening color could have worked. But only if that’s what you would have intended, the slideshow method also works to pinpoint the focus firmly on the character. I really liked the first piece and how the hoodie looks here. She’s covered up for the most part, but you can tell how skinny she is with it around her, the hoodie almost being a size too big for her. This also works well as later down the sequence, her type of outfit becomes more revealing. Even the “dressed up” in part three doesn’t show her belly like the final piece does. However, I personally didn’t like part four. I know the scene is her acting sultry, and perhaps showing off how big her chest has gotten to the viewer, but I think part three already does both of these points. Her pose in this shot is a major contrast to the others where she’s standing and its hard to gauge how much more weight she’s gained from part three when she’s bent over towards the viewer. The scenario is good, and I enjoyed the concept, but there’s not much to judge on it other than a nervous skinny girl eventually becomes a more confident bigger one. It’s hard for me to put a grade or score this story/sequence, as this smaller project is more in like with something like Valerie’s timeline instead of Couple Stuff or Losing Control. Overall I liked it, but I do think it’s one of the weaker sequences in comparison to your other released multi-part projects.
