My assistants and I have been looking to get some feedback on how people have been enjoying our content, so we're putting out a general survey!

We'd be very thankful if you could fill this form with your preferences.

If you have any thoughts you'd like to share, feel free to type them in a response to this post. We will read through each of them!

If I could vote for stuckage twice on that poll, I would have. Thanks for listening to our thoughts!

A Man Named Jed

Just did the survey and I would have included a suggestion box because I'd like to suggest removing characters from your polls that have been there for over a year. As much as I'd love to see Shion win the explicit poll it's obvious she'll never win so there's no point in keeping her on it. Plus it'll reduce the size of the pool.

Sequences and characters rounding out to nearly immobile and beyond is definitely preferred in my opinion. Its the reason why I like fat art is seeing unrealistic transformations

2026-09-05 02:00 One thing that wasn’t in the list but I do miss is the abundant of sketches that you would draw in a single page. There would be dozens of characters drawn on them. I think that adding the losing characters as sketches would make at least everyone happy, they don’t have to be detailed, just like the very old sketches.

Just submitted mine. Personally I love the wholesome yet romantic mutual gains, you're great at faces, bellies and arms (my faves) Also I said ssbbw limit, but I meant near immoble

Juan Táctico

Well, in my opinion, I always like your art. It's incredible, how you manage to capture the details of the bodies themselves. And also, your designs are something charming and I have to say a unique touch that you have. Please, continue doing what you are like.

Lourenzo Dasilva

Not really into immobile stuff. SSBBW is what I'm into. I guess with immobile, it's hard to turn my brain off from how depressing it actually is.

Borey

^ this 100%. I'm not a big fairy tail guy, so new faces are always appreciated ❤️

No complaints about the quality, it’s always is top notch! But I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it 1,000 times if I have to: I love OC content. It’s my absolute favorite stuff that you guys put out in all forms, (full pieces, stories, mini slice of life comics, literally everything.) and it always will be. This month has been amazing for it, and I hope we get more months like this in the future. I hope I don’t come off as rude when I say this, because it’s never my intention to be negative. That said, there have been a few months where there were only 1–2 OC posts, and they were the mandatory birthday pieces or explicits that had to win polls, like last month, for example. I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, so I don’t want to assume anything. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and you have to find the right balance. I’ve attended streams for around a year or so and Salt talks about all the stuff he wants to do with his characters but never has the time to do it, most OC posts get more engagement and even the newsletters have people wishing there was more. It would be amazing if in the future we got the same amount of OC content as fanart (maybe make polls half OC and half fanart so there’s not more of one?) Anyways, I think I rambled on enough, sorry if I came off rude in any way, it wasn’t and never is my intention. I just love the slice of life stuff and learning about the characters little quirks. Thank you guys for all that you do! (TLDR; I love OC content! 🙏)

Plush Thea

On an artistic scale, your team just keeps getting better and better, no complaints there! I would personally like to see more Near Immobile+ pieces, but that's just me. In regards to improvement, I'd like to see you explore new territory in regards to the subjects of your stories in the comics. I feel like you have some good quality in the writing, but it feels like you're treading the same, old ground, which can get dull if continued.

Farfalla Of Fate

Thought of you when I saw the stuckage option lol

corn pone

Really appreciate you putting out a poll like this. The quality of your art is DEFINITELY consistent, but I’m personally more into your chubby/bbw stuff and weight gain sequences, with my upper limit being in the early SSBBW stage. I really love the way you draw chubby and bbw-sized girls (muffin tops are my kryptonite) and it’s always a treat when I get to see your art of them. But lately I feel like there’s been a lot more SSBBW/near immobile art, and while it’s well done, it’s just not really my thing. Really appreciate there being an option of “the quality is good, but it’s not for me”. That’s exactly how I feel. It’s good stuff, and more power to the folks who enjoy it, but I’m just personally not that into it. I love your sequences though because then everybody wins! I get my chubby/bbw art, and the immobile fans get their immobile art. Obviously I’d be happy if there was a little more chubby/bbw-level stuff, but I’m not your only fan, and don’t want to tell an artist what art they should be making. Another thing I feel is worth mentioning is that I actually REALLY love your OCs. The white haired bitchy girl that’s always in denial is fucking peak, and I absolutely ADORED that comic about the sweet girl who would always visit the boy she liked that worked in McDonald’s. Genuinely cute and wholesome, while still being sexy. I love her!! The girl who was always sucking it in at the beach was another favorite. I still go back to that one on the regular. I would say definitely don’t be shy about putting your OCs more front-facing. I know fanart always does numbers, but I actually like, love your OCs. They’re always charming/endearing and often have like very well-thought out scenarios.

Bigsteak

Not much on the art itself I like the variety even if not everything is totally aligned to me, and between the consistency/quality/low barrier to entry there are very few other patreon's as easy to justify a permanent sub. For my own tastes, the Itsuki sequence was probably the best thing in recent memory. More for themes, in general I'd still say I prefer the OC's in longer form stuff. Only real complaint I can make is while polls have definitely improved with the new methods I still feel like the character polls specifically feel overcrowded. I know there's not much to be done if the majority are going to vote for popular/recency bias but with the amount of options it feels like the less likely candidates end up getting votes split between them even more and never really get a chance.

gaybunny

Personally, one thing that's usually a mixed bag for me is that I love when there's a story, but it's a hard turn off for me if there's a guy involved in any way at all, so I've been really glad that your stories and comics tend to focus on wlw couples or standalone women. For the most part at least.

OA1902

In my opinion I feel that recent comics have been rather stale due to lack of interactions between characters or no secondary characters being involved with gaining. Comparing the original couple stuff to Compress and the later feels like a glorified image set.

Lone Waynederer

I really have been enjoying the sequences and stories a lot. Really loving your stuffing content even if its a teeny bit rare, would really love to see more of your girls all around. I've got ver6 little in the way of complaints though, your stuff is top tier, so much that I'm happy to contribute even if things are a tad tight right now. Keep up the good work, and let's see more huge stuffed tummies, and extra pillows arms. 😍

EatMyTail

It’s evident that there’s a demand for all the characters since there’s a personality/shape/size for everyone. It would be cool to see where it’s going with Nicole and her jealousy of Chloe but we haven’t seen her yet this year :(. But I think the craziest example is when Take Me Out Girl (Now named Kate!!!) won the continuation poll by an absolute landslide, something like 400 more votes than 2nd place, she was just a nameless character in the shortest FFTE and she won by nearly triple the votes. (I also love her lil’ chibi gremlin >:D)

D March

Your art is consistent and amazing! I love size difference couples, especially when the one who is gaining has her head touching the ceiling, with the sizes going from bbw to near immobile. My weaknesses are pear-shaped bodies, bottom heavy thighs, and kind eyes. I want to see more OC interactions like Serena and the little guy in the elevator in similar slightly inconvenient situations. Idk I just love your art; and big and tall girls.

GX comics

me gustaria que hicieras un fanfic de beastars con cosmo y juno de protagonistas

Ridon Culos

I filled out the form. I noted "anatomy" as being your only weakest point, but I want to make it clear that I don't think your anatomy is bad in the slightest. I just (personally) think, more often than not, that some areas don't have nearly as much fat as I'd expect them to, like the face, neck, and hands. I can understand that decision for the most part, since those are the most expressive parts of the body. As an example, for the "Beyond Immobile" sizes, I'd expect the hands and face to be too fat to fully articulate, but that might make it difficult for the character to express anything. With your more realistic approach to skin rendering, I can see that being difficult to work around, so I understand.

LeftHandManGary

If I had to pick my favourite content, it would be seeing someone go from thin to beyond immobile. Things like Nikume or Val Rossi are peak.

Ballsman

If I could give a suggestion for polls, wether it be continuations or explicits or whatever, I think there should be some dedicated to your older pieces or the less popular picks/characters. I see the same few pieces pop up in polls that never ever get picked over and over again. Having a less stacked lineup while also allowing the more underrated pieces and characters or characters that haven’t had art done or done in forever, would be nice :)

TextileMonster

I'll say that you often do textures phenomenally (denim shorts LOOK LIKE DENIM). I like suggestive over explicit, love when there's humor, reallllllly tight jean shorts can be just as hot as exposed belly, and am a fan of "casual fats" (fat girls just living their fat lives without 'fetish' stuff).

TextileMonster

"Warm Feelings in the Cold" is a masterpiece. It's casual fat (they're literally just walking while chatting and having lattes), the texture on their clothing is amazing, the contrast of fat Nat and thin Hailie is great, and while Nat is completely covered, we still get FATNESS with her shorts and leggings. I also love how you draw boots on the supersized girls.

TextileMonster

I also just want to say I appreciate the polls for different sizes. "Fat girls" is such a wide kink with all kinds of flavors, it's hard to make everyone happy.

TextileMonster

Seeing him redo some of his older works would be cool.

Chris and Julie Anne

The one thing that was not really there - would have been good to have an "any comments" section - is that I wish there was a bit more of a variety of chest sizes. I like a smaller chested USSBBW, and I know that while I am not unique in that, it is not the norm here. Where it gets a bit annoying is that whenever there is a vote, it tends to be big-busted characters that win. I would so like it if there was a bit more variety there and that the "minorities" in votes would get represented more often (e.g., it we are about 25% who like the smaller chests, maybe we get 25% of the pics instead of nearly none when the constant majority votes for the same thing). Regardless, I LOVE your work and am a very happy Patron.

Showtime

What can be said that hasn't already been said? Other than echoing the sentiments of everyone else I'll just add my two cents while stuffing as many fat jokes and puns as I can into this comment, just like how Chloe stuffs her cookie-hole. 10 years! It's been 10 years since the humble beginnings of a few plus-size sketches, Denial can Weigh on you, Chubby Valentine, and Impending Disaster. Though we didn't know it the time, these initially nameless ladies would become the first recurring OC's and make up the bulk of your content. Lucy's Stuffing was a major rolling point showing how far you were willing to take a scene, our first full explicit! Just like their waistlines, as your popularity and skill grew, so did the content. Stories, fanart, polls, sequences, even a few test animations! As years went by, more OC's joined our girls on the ever-expanding cast. They all received love, and some more than others. Understandably, it's impossible to please everyone. We all have our preferences, even you Salt crew. But I'd like to point something out Salt once said. There's so much he wants to do, but so many other things that need to be done, and not enough time to do them. You ask for our feedback, so I'll ask you. What do YOU want to do Salt? Is there something big on the horizon but too many bumps on the way so it gets pushed back? Maybe take some time to do those things now? Whether it's a story, characters that need development, progress on relationships, or even that "what if" Dungeons 'n' Dragons roleplay game night I keep bugging you about. LOL If you want some help on that front I got some ideas! Anyway, do what you want to do, without regrets. I guess to sum up my Big Smoke's drive thru order of a tangent, we love your work Salt, as much as EatMyTail loves Val, and that's A LOT! We love your OC's. We love their interactions with each other, their slice of life days, their troubles, victories and their growth, both emotionally and very physically! I hope we see more of them, and hopefully soon. Looking forward to more large and lovely ladies from you Salt and crew!

Michael

I’m just gonna reply under this comment to show my support for the OC lobby. That latest Sammy piece you did is my Roman Empire.

Motorola762

I'm sad to see I'm in the minority when it comes to anything Bigger than a ssbbw

FlyingHigh1998

I am very satisfied with the work being produced this year. The work consistently impresses me, and I am thankful for your continued communication and transparency. In the survey, it did ask which parts were the weakest, and I found that portion difficult to answer, as I don't consistent "Issues" with specific elements of your art. I know I would prefer something like "Better" writing in some pieces, but that would just be a nice bonus more than anything, and not something I would want you to dedicate a whole lot of time to. As long as you don't overwork yourselves, and you continue to be transparent, I'm happy to be honest.

Jason

You do burping faces really well, more slobs pls.

ima gera

All you and your assistants did is brilliant right now,but after seeing so many ssbbws,it no longer satisfied me,plz continue with nearly immobile or even bigger, and maybe try more angles?

Toon Boy

I’m having trouble with the survey because of my account so I’m just gonna make a comment here first I think the best thing about your work or what I think makes you stand out the best way possible is all your OCs. The salt universe is so fun and all your characters feel so rich and interesting and I always love seeing them. That being said though, there are so many new characters now that I wish I can see other characters that don’t get the spotlight. For example, Selene is my favorite of your characters and I wish I could see more of her. And I wish that we can see Olivia and Brooke again, but if those characters were one off and you have no plans for them, I don’t wanna pressure anything. And the other thing is during the polls, I wish that the OCs and fanart of other characters can be separate. Sometimes the OCs get the most votes and rightfully so because like I said, your characters are amazing, but I feel like I don’t get to see enough fanart of other characters. So I don’t know how you could do it, but I wish every once in a while there could be separate polls for your OCs and fan out of other characters.

Scoffles

I've expressed this before, but I think the only thing I can really complain about is how it can feel like there's very little variety in terms of fanart sometimes with how the polls are done. Especially in the sketch polls that are less restricted, seeing Hex Maniac, Yor Forger, Kuroeda, Lucoa and other mainstay characters rocket to the top of the polls time and time again gets old. It feels like there's no point to suggesting a character that doesn't already have loads of art. If possible, I would like if there were a few more "new character" polls where any character who's gotten art before is completely ineligible.

Stuffie's Aircade

I really like your OC's, and the sense of warmth and unapologetic love for blubber and stuffing and absolutely enormous women! I'd love to see more like "Couple Stuff" and "Take me Out", more 'classic' scenarios like an eating contest or coke+mentos, but like-spins on the classics, taking them in new directions. More expressly feederism-centric relationships would be fun too, and seeing your OC's navigate the world of kink in fun new ways would be lovely :) I particularly love seeing your gals grow in size and confidence, and I really just hope to see more huge lasses in a variety of professions, outfits, and places utterly in love with their big bods and appetites!

TAF

I feel like everything has been going pretty great this year in terms of the quality of your art. However I feel that the variety of art has not been so great. As other people have said, seeing the same popular characters and franchises time and time again dominate the polls gets old. I feel like you should become more restrictive with your rules to have not just long cooldowns on individual characters but to instead have long cooldowns on entire franchises from being allowed to be suggested when they win. I was thinking of having 1 year cooldowns for things like Fan art polls and sketch upgrade polls and having 6 month cooldowns for sketch polls. Although I think explicit edit polls are fine at 4 months. Additionally I think you should create separate polls for your OC's and that of official characters for your fan arts and sketches. That way both your OC's and other characters have equal chances of being drawn instead of the current imbalance we see on the polls. I honestly don't mind seeing your OC's constantly winning but I do think they should not be in the same poll as official IP's. Of course you can decide if these make sense in practice and if it's worth the extra workload. That's all I have to say!

Q. T

Want to see immobile val. That's all.

Ketchup

Everything you make is awesome, but since people tend to vote the same characters again and again I would love if there was a separate poll for characters you haven't drawn before. I feel like the 4-6 month wait is not enough for other characters to have any chance to be in the spotlight.

Teabree

I love everything except for the character repetition. Hex Maniac et al makes your work maybe less notable when doing general searching, from dilution. I'd prefer there not to be polls, actually. I want to see what YOU want

Better-With-Salt

We didn't feel a suggestion box was needed, because we incentivized people to give more personalized feedback here in comments. Also, characters in polls are nominated by patrons on the $10 tier. Making them ineligible after a series of losses feels like an unnecessary restriction on them, especially since we have had unexpected victories in the past where a piece that didn't get a ton of votes in a previous poll ended up winning. I hope that clears everything up!

Better-With-Salt

I understand your feelings on character repetition. However, the private stream sketches are designed to be a perk for $10 patrons to suggest ideas, and I want to keep restrictions on that perk as light as possible. We have restrictions for characters who haven't been drawn before on other polls, the fanart poll in particular. We've also recently made the decision to increase the 4 month cooldown on repeat characters to 6 months. It isn't a perfect system, but we're trying our best to find a balance between pushing for variety and allowing people paying for the perk to suggest what they want. I hope everything I've said makes sense!

Better-With-Salt

I understand missing when my sketch sheets had more sketches on them, but I had to reduce that number because they were a lot of work for me every month. Coming up with unique ideas and poses for so many sketches takes a lot of time and effort, and I wanted to put more of my energy into more detailed projects as well as personal time away from drawing. I hope that makes sense.

Better-With-Salt

I understand that feeling, and it's something I try to take into account when coming up with ideas to make sure there is a good variety of sizes in my work. Thank you for your feedback!

Better-With-Salt

It means a lot that you all that commented here love the OC content so much! I understand the sentiment that the balance of OC and non-OC content has been skewed for a while, and I've felt it somewhat as well. We took on a lot of commissions last year, and have still been chipping away at those, which has probably had the biggest impact on the type of art you see. We're working to try and find that balance, and I think we've been improving on that front recently! I have a lot of projects in mind I'd like to do, but I also don't want to eliminate fan art or other types of non-OC content, because that is still a big draw for a lot of people. Also, having that balance helps me fight the burnout that comes with having to write characters and scenarios from the ground-up (and I just enjoy doing it lol). Thank you all again for your kind words and support!

Better-With-Salt

Thank you very much for the feedback! Trying to think of new ideas is something important to us, and we're going to do our best to think of more varied scenarios for future stories!

Better-With-Salt

Thank you very much for your feedback! I understand preferring those smaller sizes, and I apologize that you haven't felt as catered to for a while. Being honest, my tastes have trended more towards those larger sizes, so that's why they've been more of a focus. However, we still make an effort to include variety where we can, and with this feedback post we're taking other people's thoughts into account on how we're managing that variety.

Better-With-Salt

Thank you very much for the kind words! I'm very happy to hear you think the Patreon itself works well, that's not something we get a lot of feedback on so that was nice to hear. In regards to your poll feedback, I can see where you're coming from. However, because nominating characters for polls is a tier perk, we feel it would be unfair to have a cutoff for how many people can suggest each month. We have multi-voting enabled to help mitigate the issue best we can, but unfortunately it isn't a perfect solution. Still, we appreciate the feedback and it will be in our minds going forward.

Better-With-Salt

Thank you for your feedback. I can see where you are coming from, and we're planning on trying to do more comics that will focus more on character interactions or more involved storylines in the future.

Better-With-Salt

Thank you for the feedback! I try to make those parts feel fat, but at the same time you hit the nail on the head to why it can be difficult at times. Still, I very much appreciate the honest criticism and will continue to strive for improvement in those areas!

Better-With-Salt

Thank you for the feedback! We're always trying to strive for variety in our works, but I can definitely see how small chests have been more neglected. Unfortunately I'm not sure that there's any way to make that work in polls, but I'll keep what you've said in mind and try to consider drawing smaller chested characters more often.
