A frame story about the expansion of her frame. I dig it

Hopefully it's not sad all the way through and eventually leads to happiness?

Heard joke once: Woman goes to doctor. Says she sees things in black and white. Says life seems dramatic and archetypal. Says she feels surrounded by a cast of colourful characters in a world where what lies ahead seems scripted. Doctor says, 'Treatment is simple. Great artist, BetterWithSalt, is going to make a comic where the protagonist gains weight. That should pick you up.’ Woman orz. Says, ‘But doctor…I am the protagonist of the comic.' Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Food. Weight Gain. Curtains.
