Couple Stuff is done! It's been a fun project, but now it's about time I asked you all what you thought of it. Please be honest, I'll take things constructively and try to take what I can into account for future projects!

A few panels at the start time skipped quite a bit when so much could have been done.. You start at page 5 then immediately do a 3 month skip. Then from that a year later. Page 15, 1 year and 8 months. Then 2 years and 8 months. Whole lot of time skipped when you could have shown and done so much

My only real critique is that the 19th and 20th pages jumped ahead so we missed what seemed to have been the most interesting bits of their “fun”. That, and I feel it ended kinda abruptly. Other than that, this has probably been my favorite longer project you’ve done to date

legit it was easily the best weight gain kink comic i've ever read, and i've been around for a hot minute. very cute, sense of character was great, the varied poses and expressions brought a lot of life to the pages. honestly i'd buy a paperback copy of it!

I thought it was great, but the only real comment I have on it is that I wish there were more about how their lives changed with their increased weight! Clothing struggles, door/booth struggles, etc! Aside from that it's been a highlight to see these two grow closer ^_^

it was already long and I definitely am not complaining, I consider myself lucky to have read it, but the pacing between the beginning section with one gain and the second section with both felt very different.

Might've been nice to learn a bit more about the characters and their lives outside the story (even just background hints like posters on a wall or a rusty Cadillac in the driveway, etc.). I like that this story didn't beat around the bush, but maybe after that quick start, it could have slowed down in places to show what other hopes, dreams, and pet peeves the characters have.

If i was to suggest something I think could be improved upon, I personally feel that a little more emphasis could be put into the amount of food being eaten. To me it seemed that the characters would eat maybe a handful of items, then suddenly appear stuffed, which seemed a little jarring at times. Making it clearer how much the characters ate I feel would make the stuffing scenes better.

I really liked it, I think at 20 pages it was a good length without becoming too stretched, tho perhaps a few more pages to fill in some of the time skip gaps would have been good. I love seeing the progression as it goes. My other request, which you did a bit on losing control would be to perhaps include a re-visit to the coverage, https://www.patreon.com/bws/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=Couple%20Stuff but with both of them at there new weight, granted that might be tricky since one of them was on top of the other on the couch but it dose not need to be a exact re-creation. I'm probably in the minority here but I would have liked a bit of relationship drama (second thoughts about gaining, reassurance, etc), but it would have clashed with the mood I felt this was going for.

I enjoyed the concept, the story, the formatting, and the fats. However, I would have liked there to be more conversations between the characters about the struggles that are inherent of a feedist relationship, coming to resolutions that celebrate the the characters and their fetish. In conjunction, I didn’t like the big time skips — I would have preferred to have seen the wg steps in between 👌 Overall, though: fantastic work, Salt!

I absolutely loved it. All I could have asked for are those twin and frequently contradictory things many of us in this fetish must face: I want them bigger and I want it to take longer, lmao. Given that, for me, anyway, there's no ceiling on either of those desires, it's not fair to ask for more than I got. Adored it. Also I want to say that while I understand why other folks would like some drama, as a lesbian feeder, having it go badly for any real length of time would have been a little too close to home for me. Which isn't to say I don't like a little drama, or would be opposed to seeing it in the future. Just that, you know, I'm kinda here to live out a fantasy, not relive something that actually happened to me.

One thing I will say. All of it was really great, but the length of it made the development of Shannon seem a little forced. Like, if there was a little more to show her descent down the rabbit hole she herself dug and properly tie it in.

This may sound like an odd consideration, but one thing that I noticed is that your characters seem to get taller as they gain weight. In this case, since there was such a difference in time and weight between scenes, it feels pretty pronounced. Since they gained significant weight between scenes, it feels pretty apparent.

Trying to Make this Quick: *Character Designs were good, but not favorites (B - B+) *Story took a little bit to get going starting out (Elevator onward tho, I was hooked, B+) *Storyboarding and Paneling was Really Good (A) *Length...I'm half-and-half on the final act (a jump ahead in time was good, but it felt like if we're going to jump ahead in time, more development or "Things" would have happened in said time jump. Still always appreciate the bigger sizes, but it didn't feel like much happened once we jumped ahead... so either a shorter comic with the early looks, or a longer time to enjoy the later looks...B-) Overall, pretty good, and certainly stands its own in the Feast For The Eyes Series, Thanks for your hard work!

For a specific comment - I think you jumped too far along, during each time skip. Not neccessarily just in weight, but things like developing into a glutton could have had small scenes all its own. A good compare and contrast could be struggling to finish a stuffing session at one point and then later on absolutely demolishing the same or more without issue. Clothing shenganigans could have been fun additions as well, even if they didn't need to be the main focus. Also, more focus on both of them noticing the other was starting to get pudgy early on would have been nice for pacing - the first time skip is pretty major and skips over a lot of potential moments in terms of both story and fats, and then similarly it goes from "you should gain too" to immediately being big chonky. More focus on the lighter weights and the increasingly rapid speed of it as they get more and more into it/make overeating more and more of a routine, would have made the overall comic more solid by both a story and fetish standpoint. Similarly by the end, more focus on just how big they're both getting or the fact that the gap is closing fast between their two sizes and the feeder turning more and more into the feedee over time.

I think one thing I'd like to see you do is something more akin to a 4-koma? ie: a prolonged series of short comics featuring the same characters. Each comic is self-contained, but they also contribute over time to a single arc.

I didn't feel an emotional connection to the story or anything, and the characters weren't developed like your other oc's, but it is probably the kinkiest wg comic I've ever seen. The pacing and dynamic is perfect and the art is (like always) top-tier. I'm usually not a fan of mutual gaining either, but this comic made me forget that entirely.

I feel like the whole point of the Feast For The Eyes comics is just pure fanservice, right? There’s not supposed to be much of a plot, see Tipping the Scales and Beach Body. Therefore, it maybe wasn’t the best choice to release Couple Stuff as part of the FFTE series. I think it was too long for that, but at the same time it would have needed to be stretched more in order to become its own thing. You may have realized that yourself midway through when deciding to add more pages. I’m complaining at a very high level here, though. I love the two characters, I love their dynamic and I’m glad you already announced that Courtney and Shannon will remain part of the BWS universe cause I definitely want to see their story up until now fleshed out more. Maybe the pacing of their gains also could have been a bit better. Courtney went from having the figure of a model to an USSBBW in what, 3 years? If any future content you decide to do on these two can somehow explain how they managed to pull off that drastic gain, however, that could be super hot.

Definitely your best comic, and the art was fantastic throughout, you should be very proud of this indeed. However, the thing that gave the early comic it's spice was that aspect of opening up about your kink, and the joy of having your partner accept it. Their relationship in the first part was very sweet and well done. I feel like the comic really lost that unique selling point following the mutual gain reveal and the big timeskips.

Loved the concept, and the comic. The characters were great, very relatable. I would have loved to of seen more of a character arc, really get to know the characters. A slow, steady progression of weight over the story would have had a much better impact for me. The constant time skips kinda took me out of the story. After about three years of weight gain I think they were a little too big. It would have been much hotter for me if their sizes were more realistic.

Really loved this comic, but I can definitely think of a few gripes. First of all, I've seen a fair share of wg artists make comics with an actual plot, and you've got the best by a long shot. Many don't really seem to take pacing into consideration, but this was kept concise and the appeal doesn't wear off because of that. Like many here have said I think the timeskips cause problems though, seeing these two grow more gradually would've been something special, especially considering that what we got was so good. Much more positively though these two both have great character designs. Although the short haired one (I am awful about remembering names sorry) If I remember correctly looks a lot like one of your other ocs. Great job on their posing to, really brought out their personalities. As far as paneling goes I thought it was alright. I'm no expert but I think the paneling got worse towards the end, but that might just be because it's a bit difficult to appreciate their size when the panels are so small. And all the full art pages are outstanding as usual. For what this is this is a solid 9/10 and does a really good job of expanding on these characters. Pun 110% Intended

The only real issues I have with it are just personal little things. I like stuffing more than WG so those first few pages were FANTASTIC to me. I do wish there had been a bit more stuffing early on, but I know that you specifically do WG stuff so that was just a little wish of mine, I mean hell, look at what I post on my page lol. Overall, yeah, I liked it a lot. It's what initially got me to join your Patreon in the first place :)

I personally thought it was a little rushed and a bit too long at the same time. The feeding hits the ground running and doesn't let up, which isn't bad in and of itself, but I was never sold on the characters' romantic chemistry. So despite its length, the only returns I felt were meaningful were the fanservice.

Characters: The designs are wonderful, and Courtney has a lot of uniqueness to her with her hair highlights. The facial expressions and poses clearly showed that Courtney was more outgoing and Shannon was more timid. The biggest complaint I have are the names, as they’re never mentioned anywhere throughout the story and were only mentioned outside of the material. I had to look up the name of the red head before typing this. Even a small edit of a speech bubble within the first pages would go a long way in fixing this problem (“Are you really sure you want to do this Courtney?” “Don’t worry Shannon, I’ve been thinking about it more since we talked.”). Story: The story started off fairly strong and wanted me anticipating the next page. We knew it’d be a stuffing story but even after the phrase of “Let’s try it!”, it still wasn’t clear who would be feeding who, Love the little detail of Shannon fitting in the butterfly shirt that Courtney was now too big for near the end. After the midpoint of the comic after Shannon’s stuffing, the story seems to just rapidly skip ahead. It’s hard to pinpoint /why/ the story feels like it picks up the pace as we had time skips in the beginning as well. It might have more to do with just only having one page of Shannon being fat before skipping again to where she’s even more obese, and not getting enough attention to her gain as we did with Courtney. So one or two more pages of dates or outings might have made it more even. As far as the last page, the story just sort of... ends. Which is fine, but the dialogue and images make it appear like there’s supposed to be more after you turn the page. Although it’s hard to think of how else it could have ended since the main end goal is a simple concept for them to just be fatter, rather than an overaching plot like Sammy’s acceptance of being big. Personally, would have loved to see one or two panels of how exactly the extra fat affects them. Ripping an old dress, squeezing in a seat, etc. But again, that’s more of a personal preference and not a knock on the story. Though I think something like that could have played well since Shannon was clearly into this and Courtney seemed to enjoy egging her on. Length: The length is perfect, and I hope that your future comics go at or near the 20 page mark. It wasn’t too short to where it felt like a short updating progression picture and it wasn’t too long that it overstayed it’s welcome. Even with all the minor criticisms I have, this is still one of the best WG comics currently out there. Looking forward to the next project.

The design of the characters and the story of how they got fat was very good, but I honestly thought you were going to conclude with a time jump and put Shannon and Courtney on the couch after a few years as a reference to the place where it all started, second criticism, is that those names were missing because I am a reader who likes to know who is who to develop a love and feeling for the character, from there on it was very well developed but with a conclusion that could be better.

This story was what convinced me to join the Patreon so I could get the story sooner, so needless to say I liked it a lot. :D I can agree with some of the critiques, like showing more of the characters outside the fetish and skipping a little too much especially at the end. I am glad to hear that we'll see more of these characters, though, and I would love to see more of those times in-between those skips where things can be further fleshed out.

Because that wasn't the intention, and that's why it wasn't focused on. The intention was for them both to be continuing to gain at a fairly even pace with each other.

I really appreciate the detailed feedback! I understand where you're coming from with the criticism about it not seeming to fit with FFtE or on its own. The intent for FFtE is for it to be heavily focused on the fanservice, but it's also there for experimenting with different ideas, and this one kind of grew beyond the original intention. I'm hoping by doing more with the characters in the future it will feel more like it stands on its own! And regarding the speed of the gain, I can see what you mean and I've got a couple ideas that might help flesh that out, so I'll probably do something with that at some point.

Regarding Shannon's character design, which character do you think she looks a lot like? If you don't remember the name, if you could describe them by their hair color that would help. Thanks for the feedback on the paneling as well. I'll have to go back and look over the pages myself, but from memory I think the pages may have become more cramped. Paneling is a very important aspect of these comics to me so I really appreciate being told where it may be lacking. Thanks again!

Thank you for the very thorough response! In regards to the names, that's a bit of an odd situation because I didn't even name the characters until over halfway through the comic's production. With FFTE projects I don't go in planning names or personalities for the characters beyond what is necessary, because I try to focus on the fanservice elements. However I do understand this criticism and if I ever release this comic on another platform in bulk, I probably will take your advice and slip the names in early on. I understand the criticism around the pacing, and it's also something I kind of noticed at the time while I was working on those pages. Unfortunately, I think it was a symptom of this originally being conceptualized as a much shorter project and when I decided to make it a longer comic, a lot of scenes were added/extended in the early portion but not as much in the latter. Regardless, it's something I'll try to work on more in the future. In regards to your personal wants, those are the kinds of things I would like to do with them in the future with supplementary pages and illustrations. So I hope you can look forward to those sometime in the future! Thanks again for the critique!

i loved it, i think it's some of your best work to date! my only critique is totally subjective, and that's that the last few pages made me hope for just a little more greedy messy stuffing at the end, the two of them really turned into insatiable piggies at the trough. all in all i think it's wonderful though and your characterization and artwork is stronger than ever

Personally thought the pacing was fine - time skips were a little jarring, but I've always felt that timeskips are fine as long as you add some build up to any reveal for a timeskip. Maybe a just a few panels hinting at the next big weight before the actual reveal (close in shots, thumping footfalls, etc.) As for character's arcs, while I think it was cute to watch them gain together and I can see the teasings of Shannon also gaining with Courtney before she fully indugles, but it initially felt the story was setting up Shannon coming into her own as a feeder and that kinda being the central arc of her story. Being this supportive figure to someone who's willin to indulge her kink, and the confidence she grows from that, which we certainly saw towards the end, but I think didn't necessarily need her gaining as well, you know what I mean? I feel like Courtney, with that bigger ego, would enjoy all that attention on her and, in turn, enjoy how much it excites her partner to see the difference intheir sizes grow. Their personalities are great though and it's lovely to see a lesbian couple that is so open not only in their relationships, but with each other and their feelings, wanting to support each other on a journey. You've always done so well with kink, so there's really nothing to complain about in the fanservice department, and your stories, while short, always hit the right notes for fun and light. And if you chose to go darker, or keep it light, I think you'd excel either way~

You know you've created something incredible when the only criticism that most people have is that it's too short and the gain/pacing should have been slower, even though everyone wants to see your characters grow huge. I would say the first part felt more "real" to me? There was a lot of interactions between them outside in the real world, a lot of discussion of their feelings towards each other, along with a steady sense of growing fatter and growing more comfortable with the kink. It could be just me. I did enjoy the ending with them both lovingly calling each other weird. Rereading the whole thing just confirms how much I appreciate this comic :)
