I miss Nicole, she’s cute and I loved her size when we last saw her 🥰

C

Love all your OCs, hope to see more mini comics soon

Kota Wulf

To be fair any of your ssbbw or ussbbw are amazing

Chardawg

Who is The Painting and where is their lore

Cereal Milk

I absolutely adore them all but appearance wise Courtney takes it, she's perfect ❤️

Cardboardboxes

Tbh seeing Val blow up over the course of your pieces have been some of my favorite works of yours! I’m always excited for another piece featuring her!

DemonBorn

Personally Nat is my favorite, she's just a big lovable nerd, and let's be real, we could all use a big lovable nerd in our lives.

FluffGirl

I can't choose a favorite, they're all really cute with such interesting personalities! No real complaints aside from not seeing them enough!

Zack

Definitely a tie between Shanon and Courtney, love those two cinnamonrolls ❤️

HeavilyHandedWriter

I know it's a safe answer, but I enjoyed all of your OCs. They each bring their own personalities and quirks to make each interaction or event unique from one another. Plus, having most or all of them in the same universe really made me appreciate how you care for the bonds they have with each respective character. I will say that the similar yet unique dynamics between Halie/Sam and Shannon/Courtney are fun and sweet! It would be fun to see that pair have more hang outs or even double dates together.

Nuno

I think all of your OC’s are really unique. The fact that there’s not much similarity between them really sets your art aside from other artists imo. Each one has their own personality, and I think it’s great! Keep up the good work Salt. 🤌🤌🤌

Fishingman

Huge fan of Val, when are we gonna meet her feeder bf? Also would like to see a comic with those two :)

ChloPiercer

Well this is really, really difficult lmao. At the end of the day, gotta go with the gay girls. XD Really, only note I have for your OCs is that I want the definitive BWS timeline more than I wanted the Zelda timeline back in the day. XD

TheCyrilFiggis

I think all your girls are fun OCs, with Halie and Nat's "Will they/Won't They" relationship always being a treat. I do think there are a few that are due a bit more expanding so they stand out more; I had to remind myself who Nicole was, for instance.

M4773n

Sammy's my favourite.

Are Unknown

Nicole, Selene, and Courtney are definitely my 3 favorite.

Michael

What happened to Maddie? I was super excited to see more of her. That said, Sammy will always be my favorite OC of yours. She's perfect in every way.

ARK Redeemer

Nat and Halie! Please give us more of the most adorable couple of that aren't a couple! 🥰 More slice of life cuteness, it's just the epitome of adorable! 😊

Styg Skye

Shannon and Nicole for me fill a rare niche amongst the wider cast of girls of being "into it" without just boisterously and shamelessly giving in to gluttony. That makes them feel a lot more real to me, and the occasional shame and restraint they show contrasts to make their unhinged moments much hotter by comparison

Jorpando

I thought about it in terms of who was my favorite, who I wanted to see more of, who I wanted to see grow fatter than the others, and who I personally liked, and was surprised to realize that Nat was at the top of all four categories. Courtney and Shannon are close behind.

jlixirium

I wouldn’t vote for Olivia and Brooke because I just don’t like exercise or weight loss in a story. I WOULD vote for Violet if she were an option 👌

Videos900

Would love to see a Selene prequel!

nagatomunch

your oc stuff is really fun, generally speaking! It's consistently my favorite of your stuff

A Random Channel

My love ended with Sammy, Now the Painting is my new waifu.

FaffyCastle

Nat is always fun to see, because she tends to be so soft and oblivious

Nicholas Ford

I liked the story with Sammy. It was fun watching it happen.

TextileMonster

Halie is adorably flustered so often, and I love adorable. Only note would be I really really REALLY think she should stay thin. One, I like girls of all sizes and love her current design, but also, having a thin girl can put the others' sizes in perspective. Size difference is hot.

TextileMonster

Unrelated, but I kind of want a jokey 'update' of The Painting now. Just make the tree wider, the fence posts thicker, etc. XD

WreckitRalphFan001

Chloe, Nat, Sammy, Halie, Courtney and Shannon are my top ones!

Bob Hill

Best girl is The Painting. I want to see more of her.

WinfreyBun

Odd, it's only allowing one vote.

Dooby

I love’em all

Louis

Me and my girlfriend adore halie and Nat, but honestly, my main request is that there is a longer story with the main girls, I’d love to see a proper long story with them, a nice concrete timeline!!

Showtime

I think Natalie and Chloe were the first OC's that I really took interest in. The dynamic duo if you will. Though they're my personal favorites I've enjoyed watching the cast of OC's grow... pun intended. Not sure if anyone mentioned this before, and it's a little bit of a stretch, but if you abbreviate Natalie and Chloe’s names you get Na and Cl, the chemical formula for Salt. Coincidence?

Kris Dawson

I'd like to see more of Nicole and I like Sam in general because they're not super... extreme, y'know? Like, they're different sizes that most of the others, which offers variety--always awesome. I love folks of all shapes, but I'm not crazy into the girls that are unrealistically huge X) I might be (probably am) in the minority here, but that's my stance: more size variety would be great!

Ben

Chloe and Selene are definately my favorite of your girls.

PrivateXimmy

I genuinely love all your girls, because they each bring a new dynamic to the table! However, if I had to pick favorites: Shannon and Courtney’s growing duo were absolutely fantastic, the more far reaching growth of Nikume (not listed here) was one of my favorite initial hooks with her progression. And most recently, Selene. Is she a feedee? A foodie? I’m not sure exactly, but that uncertainty makes her sheepish attitude towards her growing frame all the more exciting!

Alexa

Love them all! But I personally wanna see more of Nicole. I'm also curious to see how Brooke and Olivia are doing after that comic. I feel we haven't much of those three.

Alex

Sammy and Nicole are my favorites, I like their sizes and their relationship with food/feeding

Drew Cornog

All of them are truly lovely big girls. Though I do favor Nat for her casual attitude and cute bits of comedy with her twiggy pal Halie.

SomeLostLeo

I put my votes towards Courtney, Selene, and Nat. Something I like about Halie (despite not voting for her) is that she helps show off size difference compared to the other girls by keeping her thin. I'd personally love it if you also had one of your girls stay considerably bigger (like a near immobile size, while having them be outright immobile on rare occasions for fun) then all the other girls to fulfill the same role from the opposite perspective of Halie, and I think Courtney would be perfect for that role after her impressive showing of commitment to gaining in Couples Stuff. Selene could also fulfill that role since the end of the sequence she had made her the biggest size you've ever made one of your OCs.

Daniel Jessee

I love Sammy! It's always great to see more of her.

WeaponA

The Chloe-Nat-Sammy-Halie quartet has always been awesome, and Courtney-Shannon have also been great additions as more recent breakout characters. I think I'm especially fond of anyone we've gotten to see really developed as unique personalities in addition to being fun to look at, so the best for me have been those that have received more sporadic but relatively consistent and detailed appearances (i.e., your Nat/Halie comics pages and stories like Heavy Exercise, the Halloween storyline, etc.) or the longer, more focused works (i.e., Losing Control or Couples Stuff). Feedback-wise, I think it'd be interesting to see different character combinations played around with a bit more often. Chloe and Sammy often seem to be featured in individual pieces, while Nat/Halie tend to appear together (for obvious reasons). While their dynamic is adorable, I also enjoyed your more recent comic page with Halie/Sammy because that combination seemed to bring out different aspects of their characters. It might be fun, for instance, to see something with Nat/Sammy (who we haven't seen much of as a duo) or with Chloe/Halie (probably a dangerous combination, but the size contrast would be delightful, and it might also be interesting to see if that would bring out a more vulnerable side of Chloe since it's easier for her to minimize her weight problem when she's around Nat, who's of comparable size). That's my two cents, anyway!

Akeno Himejima

It wont let me pick multiple. I feel we need more Brooke, Halie and Nicole

Philadelphia

Val is easily best girl. Would like to see new art pieces in the future where she progressively gets bigger and bigger over time, till she's one of the biggest characters you ever drew 🥰

Guy Face Thrace

"All that apply" isn't working. I have more waifus here than I can pick with a single-choice poll!

Shadow Basilisk

Even though she isn’t your most popular OC Chloe is my absolute favorite. So, my only hope is that we continue to see more of her in the future!

BodyEx

I know she won't win, but man, Nicole is such a good design, I'm sad we haven't gotten more of her. She is comic worthy 1000%

Vachidra

I feel like we could really stand to see more comics about Nicole, I don't really know anything about her.

Zoey

I like the main 4, Chole, Sammy, Nat, Halie the most but I really want to see more Nicole!

Fuzzycakes

courtney's enthusiasm and sheer girth are great selene just makes me happy

hobe420

Man I still hope for a stand alone Nicole mini comic

FaffySquish

I could be bias toward Courtney cause Couple Stuff was so freakin good. I love Nat's body type and wholesomeness. And chloe is just cool

ARC

Selene, Courtney, and Val I like mostly on sheer size, but the former two did have some character from the comics. One... complaint(?) I have is most of the big girls all have fairly similar shapes. I'd love to see a little more variation amongst your cast, some slightly more pear or (my favorite) hourglasses. I also picked Olivia because I liked her in the comic, and I would have picked Brooke if her new size was the status quo (looks like her default is thin based on your pic here). But given those two had some shape changing and weight fluctuations from their comic, I'd say they're good candidates for possibly varying builds among the roster. All this being said, I love the art and the characters regardless. Hell, other than the sizes we see in your other art (like Serena/Nikume, Chiho, Vivi), I actually prefer your OCs over fanart and waifu of the month stuff.

FunnyFunnyMr

My absolute favorites are Chloe, Courtney and Olivia. I, personally, consider my reasoning for liking Chloe to be a bit more superficial and shallow, but her personality, shape and size. But I do love Chloe's denial lol I love Courtney because of the Couples Stuff comic and how eager she was to start gaining. Throughout the comic I loved the shapes and sizes, I loved how she got her girlfriend gaining too. Even though she probably wasn't expecting it. Also, despite what Courtney says and does in the comic, I like the fact that she doesn't really have a fat fetish -- according to her sheet anyway. I do love Shannon's body size and shape too, but Courtney and her big personality ends up catching my attention more than Shannon. Olivia is another favorite of mine out of your OCs because I love that she actually lost weight. I hope to see more of her, not necessarily losing weight but her in an everlasting yo-yo diet. She's a character I hope to see more of because I feel like she has a lot of potential and can do something you don't see too often -- well, I haven't seen lol There are other OCs I like too, but those three are my favorites. I like Nicole's big thighs and I think I'd like her more if I saw more of her. Maybe I'm misremember, but I don't remember seeing too much with Nicole. I like Sammy's shape and 'Loaded Question.' Frankly, I love the grouchiness look in 'A Slow Start' too. Val and Selene are massive, which I like about them. I want to see more of Selene, but I can't say she's one of my favorites Hopes that helps, keep up the great work and can't wait to see what you do in the future!

FlyingHigh1998

Focusing on the main..? Four: First, Chole is great and I love how her personality contrasts in the group, but I would say she may need something added to her character that doesn't require someone else to bounce off of. Early idea, like a hidden hobby or pet rabbit that shows her softer side that she would not want the other girls to discover. Nat is great, and having her work with Halie is nice, though I will say even though I do love her occasional obliviousness, I wouldn't want her to overly blind to clear gestures. Not understanding the full picture immediately is fine, but absent-mindedness could have Nat lose some character depth. Sammy is pretty good, with Losing Control doing an amazing job of fleshing her out. Though she may not change much nowadays, Sammy still feels nuanced as a character up to this point, and her desire for romance more overtly (at least compared to Halie) is good contrast. Speaking of Halie, she is wonderful because she can be either her own person that we as a audience want to root for, or be almost a self-insert when with Nat. This makes her very versatile, and makes it to where she can work with all the other OCs pretty nicely. I could honestly say something about all of your OCs, but it would get boring, so a couple of more general points. I love these four's designs, the contrast in body types is superb, and in every piece they are in their personalities shine though. One thing I would say is that I wouldn't mind seeing either small new elements added to a few of them or maybe feel like progress is being made to their character in someway, and shockingly no, I don't mean their weight. And hey, thanks for asking us, that's really cool of you to do. (also, that painting is cool too).

killer095

Shannon and Courtney are the absolute best sequence and open pair... but Nat cannot be beat. Especially if you consider her love affair

Nox_Frappe

We absolutely need to see more Nicole and Selene. Also, I’m huge fan of the more lewd works you’ve done with Val and would love to see more of that with her and the other characters.

van Holden

Almost forgot about Olivia and Brooke, you should put them in more stories.

ARandom Person

Olivia from a design perspective is criminally underrated. I know she's only been in one thing but she's adorable

Ulvrik

I love Courtney because of her eagerness to pack the pound for her love and enjoy the change, and Halie for her shy personality, and hidden interest in weight gain. and that she really wants to touch the soft bellies around her.

Syo

I think my personal favourite has always been Nat - she's sweet and warm and has had this slow progression to becoming who she is and I really hope that she and Hailie do start to experiment with their relationship. I just want to see her progress forward and not be left behind - besides being a red head with huge hips is always a draw XD I also like Courtney for how earnest she is; she really wants to make her partner happy and loves to make that happen! Again just another sweet and loving character. Given how big she is, though, I would have loved to see some "struggles" as she's grown; she's perfect for a little stuckage! Finally Nicole; I don't know much about her but from what I've seen she's got this cute denial about her. Again she just feels like a cute character and would love to see more of her!

Thanatos

Sammy’s the best

Chroma L

I like all of them, but I think Brooke and Olivia are at a disadvantage here just because we’ve seen them less then most of the others. Same could be said for Nicole but less so

corn pone

I’d love to see more of Nicole and Courtney when they were a little smaller! I love the way you draw girls in the 180-250 range. Personally that’s what I usually hold out for but I know I’m probably the minority here haha

Brenda

I would say that even with the disadvantage I am a big fan of Brooke and Olivia's story. Would love to see how it has progressed. Has Olivia continued to work out while Brooke has gotten bigger. Or has Olivia decided to go back to her old life style now that Brooke has little ground to call her on it.

Someguy Somewhere

Yo do not have a single bad character, all of them are great; but Val & Courtney are my favorite by far!

Lymed

I don't think you have a single bad oc, design or character wise, and I love the way you draw all of them and write for them as well. If I had to give any feedback, it'd be that I honestly want to get to know them more

Morshufan1

It’s difficult, but I’ll avoid saying all of them. The main quartet are always great of course, but the 2 characters I always really love seeing are Nicole and Selene. Always nice to see more of them. I will say that I’d love to see more personality from Chloe outside of her weight gain denial. It’d be great if she’d star in a story, even if it’s a short one.

Some Aigis

I am definitely most fond of the first three so far. I have enjoyed the backstory you created for them, which has done a great job of making them seeing likeable and fleshing out their personalities. Of the three, I've always loved Chloe. She has a hard on the outside, yet soft on the inside personality that is really sweet. I also find the fact that she continues to deny her gains a fun (and sexy!) dynamic. She's a fun character and her ever expanding frame is one that always commands attention. Nat is also good, but to me personally is the least interesting out of the original three girls to me. Still, I enjoy seeing her a bunch and her relationship with Halie is really fun. Those two characters work best together in my opinion, although her friendly "rivalry" with Chloe is also a highlight. Lastly we have Sammy, one of my new favorites. Personality wise she's the opposite of Chloe, in that she's very aware of her weight gain and feels conflicted about it. I think her portrayal is pretty realistic for a lot of bigger women and leads to a lot of interesting scenarios. I can never make up my mind as to whether I like her or Chloe more. I think you've done a good job of switching things up and keeping things from getting stale. While I've enjoyed a lot of the new characters you've introduced, it will take a while to get to know them. I think that variety is a great thing to have and it helps with the problem of every story just being about the same character's gain (which would be boring and also can only naturally last so long). Overall I've really been impressed with your work and I think you've maybe done the best job of any artist of getting me invested in your OCs.

Jacy Frett

Selene's nervous but overall confident disposition is the best! Hope to see her in more stuff

Iain James Cameron

I enjoyed Couple Stuff a great deal, deliberate gainers are the best for me! I would like to see the less developed characters like Nicole and Selene fleshed out a bit more as well.

Jimbo

Chloe is perfect, would love to see a side by side of her slim vs fat

sad hammerhead

Surprised by the results! (I will viscerally tear apart any person that didnt vote for chloe)

Better-With-Salt

Patreon very recently added a collections tab, where I was able to organize posts of my OCs into chronological order! It's a bit messy (I didn't always consider timeline placement very carefully until more recently lol) but I hope it helps people get a clearer picture of things! The collection in question is the one titled "A Big Fat Slice of Life"

Better-With-Salt

I would like to do more with her in the future, but I didn't add her here because she only has the one piece.

Better-With-Salt

Not a coincidence at all, that's actually how I came up with their names! XD Congrats on figuring it out!

Better-With-Salt

I definitely have thought about playing around with different character combinations recently! There's a lot of fun to be had there.

Better-With-Salt

I have plans for Chloe down the road that hopefully will accomplish what you mentioned!

Michael

Ah, fair enough. Even based on just that one piece she's probably my second favorite OC of yours behind only Sammy, so I cannot wait to see more of her :)

Jesse Bigger

Okay, so I have to say that I'm going to be of two minds here. Mostly because I can recognize when my own tastes overwrite what might otherwise be critical analysis. And that's because Losing Control was such a gamechanger in terms of narration and staging that it was like night and day. The narration, the slow burn it took to all of the payoff. And even with the struggle internally and externally, ending on a positive note for Sammy was a delight. That being said. I'm a MASSIVE fan of confident, over-the-top girls who rock their fat and push it as far as it can go. Whether it's the devil-may-care attitude that Selene has in Feast For The Eyes or the absolute behemoth that is Serena (re: Fit for Fat). That also includes, of course, the way Courtney handles herself in Couple Stuff. Special mention goes out to Val for the piece you did recently. 'Between a Wall and a Hard Place' might genuinely be my favorite fats piece of all time, despite a heavy preference for supersize immobile stuff. All of these girls are a delight though, I'm just voting and speaking here on what comes to my mind. There's likely some recency bias too, but I'll just chalk it up to the massive strides you've taken over the last few years in narrative, dialogue, characterization, and of course the art itself.

RoosterJacket

I do not really have any helpful feedback and I am incredibly biased toward Chloe. I don't know why, but she will always be my favourite. Also Selene (who, if I'm not mistaken is from the feast for the eyes sequence thing?) Was a really good newcomer in my opinion :>

Better-With-Salt

Don't worry, I'm pretty dedicated to Halie remaining thin XD

Joe Smith

Val, Selene, and Sammy are probably my favorites. Story-wise, my favorite is probably Selene. I liked how she was a bit shy and ashamed of her weight in year four, only to do a complete 180 by year six. I love it when shy fat girls realize how hot they are and lean into it.

Brand Mark

I am a big fan of your bws arts and I have always loved all your ocs but what I would like is to do a solo art with the most voted to the least voted, if possible in pairs better but I want to see more of them and get to know them, and all that remains is to thank you for delivering tremendous works of art bws, thank you.

WhereIsMyD20

Halie and Nat are an absolute treasure to behold. They're too precious and I resonate with Halie's awkwardness on a hilarious level. Any day I get to see new interactions between the two is a good day.

Showtime

Awesome! After all these years, Chemistry finally paying off. So does this mean I've discovered... LORE?! Move over Vaati, there's a new lore channel in town! Salt Lore... nah. NaC-lore, no. Still workshopping it. 🤔

MatsuoTanuki

I *adore* the huge dynamic your main 4 (Nat, Halie, Sammy, and Chloe), but what I love even more is Shannon and Courtney. 🥰 Courtney especially, because there's just *something* about her particular shape and weight gain I can't put my finger on, and I love how Shannon plays off her. I would pay good money to see "Couple Stuff" get a sequel/interquel giving more detail to Shannon plumping up. 🤩

Jackal T27

I of course love Courtney and Shannon because the “Couple Stuff” weight gain story/comic you did is probably the best I’ve ever seen. Ive also enjoyed the posts for Sammy, Nat and Selena but honestly I think all your work is brilliant.

The_Murp

Love them all, but Selene and Courtney are the standouts this poll, with Nat probably in 3rd for me. I definitely loved seeing Selene get some more drawings outside the swimsuit sequence (which was one of my favorites), and would love to see more, especially since her storyline suggests she's embracing feederism. I really liked how in Couple Stuff they both eventually get fat- I love it when the female feeder gets caught up with the female feedee. Maybe do some AU sequences where Shannon gets better than Courtney? I could definitely see something where there's an event that happens where like Chloe finally realizes she's gotten super fat and wants to lose weight, while putting in zero effort to do so, and friend of hers offers to help, but that lady ends up getting fat from Chloe's bad habits rubbing off instead.

Montana Schmidtbauer

Oh come on! sammy is the only one I care about. Perfect background. Perfect archetype. Perfect weight gain backstory. I will never get this community when it comes to pollinh

Montana Schmidtbauer

My favorite thing is when they jnsecure about their weight and were known for being thin confident and a model when before the weight gain. And for that reason I am solely here for sammy. Sammy is the perfect weight gain archetype for me
