I don't like the term "diapee," I prefer "diaper." Now I'm curious to know, what's your opinion on it?

To me, the word ‘diapee’ reinforces that the Little is just a tiny baby and makes them feel even smaller. It makes me regress even further into Little Space when it’s said by a caretaker.

I feel very indifferent to either word. For me I do prefer diaper when I'm more in a big headspace and diapee in little space. On the other I tend to just call them my crinkles.

I don’t have a problem with it, but it’s not a word I use often. Diaper/nappy > diapee IMO.

I think context matters... If youre being playful than I think diapee could be fun

As a little I like to say it cause it enforces the feeling of being small and not being able to form words properly yet. That said, I absolutely HATE when my caregiver says it. Takes me out of littlespace for sure. They’re an adult. They can say full words.

I’m indifferent tbh

I prefer the term "Diedees" if it's going to be mispronounced. It all depends on context. I like it when a Cg says something like "Do you need your pants changed?" Or "Do you need a fresh butt" Or "We need to change you butt!" Other than that, "diaper" is just fine. The only time I've ever heard anybody say "Diapee" is on t.v. or on the internet.

“Nappy” is better than both these options

Using brand names is the BEST. Calling my diaper my pampers or my huggies even when I'm wearing cloth is one of my most favorite-est things.

I like it more than diaper because diaper doesn’t sound cute or babyish to me due to me being Australian and not using that term. Diapee ends in the same second syllable as nappy which is what we use, so it’s kind of similar, at least half way to what we say.
