Hello!

An update for my patrons: I am currently in the process of putting together the e-book for Volume 9! I will keep you all updated on the release date. ^^

A lot of people on Patreon have asked me if the exclusive chapter will be in the Kindle version as well, since many of you also get that. With that being said, I wanted to leave the decision to you guys on whether I should put the Patreon-only chapter on Kindle or keep it Patreon-only.

Soooo, what do you all think?

Should "Chapter 374.5: In the Wake of" be in the e-book or should we keep it exclusive to Patreon?

Comments

Sugoi

I need it all in E-Book Turtle! 😩

Relaxel

As much as I like feeling special, I feel like it'd be weird to leave people out of content of a story just because they weren't subbed at the time or whatever

Jacob Bryant

I think kindle readers should be able to enjoy just as many chapters as everyone else

Will Eaves

No reason to be stingy my fellow patreons

Karnamana

While it might be tempting to have that chapter as patreon exclusive i believe that we shouldn‘t keep this chapter from the other readers just because we invest more money than them. At the end of the day we all enjoy tbate

If its patreon exclusive it'll still be here with the other patreon exclusive chapters, it wont be removed like the other chapters

Alex

I feel there's no need to gatekeep people. I already enjoyed every chapter before anyone else besides other lances. We pay for your patreon to support your awesome novel, but I find others should have the ability to read everything as well.

shawntw

On discord within the last week or two you said that when 375 released on tapas we could talk about 374.5. Will making it an ebook chapter change that or will we be free to talk about it in a couple weeks?

Chris A

I would love if it also came out on a hardback or softback book to put on my shelf.

Preier

While i am here on Patreon to support you, i am a Tapas reader and i hope i dont have to miss out on chapters and other people shouldnt have to either since we all enjoy the great work, no need to withhold anything from anyone that enjoys TBATE ^^

ethernyx

this chapter is so great ! it would be a loss for your other fan, it was a good gift but a gift is even better when shared with everyone ^^

Tim

Being a writer makes it hard to give patrons certain exclusives, especially if that content directly relates to the work youre doing. In this case, 374.5, it directly impacts the novel so it SHOULD be included in the main body of work. If you want to give patrons an exclusive reward separate from the main body of work, then I think small things like side stories, or maybe histories and character biographies would be more suitable.

javiplayz

wait where is 374.5? I’ve kept up for months but i’m no sure if i’ve read it. help?

Mandalomaster

It should be in the book ! Because I love to read the Kindle book once released (even if I have already read the chapters on patreon and Tapas). I have read the vol 8 a dozen times on my Kindle paperwhite. Thank you for all your work Turtleme.

Raymond M

I don't believe in permanent exclusivity. Timed exclusive is good enough!

Anrike

The readers deserve to know after weeks of not knowing about a exclusive chapter. Hell maybe even more patrons will join and more chapters for us hahaha😂👍

OneTastyBagel

Definitely no point to keep something like that out of the e-book

Ezekiel2517

It was a treat for us but adds too much desired insight into how Grey’s legacy is perceived to leave it out. Thanks for asking!

Charles Jones

Definitely think it should be in the ebook. Brings way too much closure and insight to not be in the book. It was a great surprise for us but your book would not be as great as it is without key pieces of info like that chapter provides.

George

I believe that in the process of creating a master piece such as this story, it is essential to keep key information as that chapter available. My hope is to be able to read the volumes again without missing any info. And I also hope to see a hard copy of this novel in the future 🤞

C

Can I vote for both 😇I don’t think it’s right to permanently keep it exclusive 😈 But I paid good money to see that chapter 😇 not that I’m demanding anything 😈But they didn’t pay 😇that volume won’t be complete. 😈leave a note and tell them where it at 😇why are you so mean… I don’t think I’m gonna vote

Luis Martinez

It wouldn't feel complete without it.

Brent

Add it to audiobook too please, I want Baldree to read that chapter for me too haha

Adrian Vollrodt Lerma

I think the idea of a "Patreon only" chapter is cool, but it is much too nice to keep the chapter to us patreons only!

Thrivean

I’m really glad to see that the community we have here is a positive one, I was ready to come in here and try to argue why it should be included but no need since all of y’all are kind hearted about it 😁❤️

ImJonz

Tbate is love tbate is love let all be blessed with the wise words of turtle show the kindle readers what their craving be benevolent turtle bless them with 374.5 that way I also get it in the audio book-

Ali

Definitely put it in, it was a phenomenal chapter, i think everyone should hear it.

Jordan wth no, it is the chapter after Art killed Cadell, it Titel is i think: "In the wake of" or something like that

TheBoulder

Honestly, I just want to hear Travis say what Caera said

Cherish

in the E-book bc it gives some closure to what happened to the lances that i feel is needed

BunnyTango

I think almost all of your Patreon followers will want your ebook. My desire for all the chapters to be included out ways my desire to keep it to myself. Plus the ebook is something people pay for, so it makes sense for them to have it.

Preier
>>82835500

They do pay for the book tho... Whats your point 🤔

Filip Tepsic

I will buy the ebook because I want to have complete representations of your work. So yes, please include it

C
>>82835500

It was a joke, love Personally I don’t care

Yuion

idk why you would want to make this exclusive It is part of the story and should never be excluded from the ebook. Making it patreon exclusive would be weird af Thanks for the consideration though

Okcrk

It is too good of a chapter to be left out

LadyAlleta

Please anything extra gives incentive for people to purchase the ebook. Plus it's more accessible for audio only readers once it's narrated

Kevin Catambay

I feel like since they’d pay for the book that would earn them the right to read it, the same way we pay our patreon subscription :) It already feels good to have read it on here! (plus I want Travis Baldree to narrate that chapter for the Audible version hehehe)

Ociii .M

Too good to be left out.

Justin Garcia

Share the love. We support you to make art. Now share that art with the world

RagsToRiches ;-;

Chapter 382 what time does it release can’t find it?

Jesse Gibson

I constantly reread the story so I’d like to have that put in the book when I purchase that as well since I like to support you as much as possible.

Goldblood

Let the people eat!

Leadslinger2019

I appreciate you including us in this . It shows how much you value your readers and I’m damn impressed. Thank you . My vote as stated above is to put it in the e book.

Dante

Aren’t we all nice people 😈

Keanu King

I'm late but I've always viewed this patreon stuff as early access. I want everyone to experience the story to it's fullest, I'm just doing it a little sooner than the rest.

Julius Hoffmann

Exatly it‘s just to good to be sleeping on this exelent story
