Hello peeps, how are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? I hope you won't mind some more maid Rose to kick off this PoL?

This post is coming out a bit later than usual because I've worked all evening on finishing the extra scene. The main part is Rose with Meredith, but there will be some stuff with other maids as well. It was quick technical to do as it was more of a patchwork of smaller scenes with a bigger one rather than one single scene.

I don't have much else to say for this PoL honestly. Now that the extra scene is finished (still need a few commissions done and test everything), that's a good chunk of the last segment of this update behind us. I still can't give a deadline for the release because I've got some story and one last Cyanna scene to do, and I'm not sure how long it's all going to take.

I did work hard last week, and I'm going to work hard again this week to bring you the update as fast as possible. The good thing is that the most part of a big irl project is now finished too. I've been dragging that thing for almost a year now, and it would see me moving to another continent before the end of the year if it all works out. For those who were already here last year, yes, it's Japan again.

Anyway, all of this to say that I now have more time to dedicate to the game, within reason. Oh, and this update will have 2 freeroam events (1 with Rose and 1 with Cyanna), since they already got some the last two updates. And one more Triple Trident opponent.

Fuck yeah, back to the weekly PoLs at 4pm, can't wait to read about the progress that you've made for one of the endings the previous week while sitting at a red light trying to get home.

I don't really mind that the PoL is about Rose again, but I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping that for this PoL you already had a release date for the update in mind, but also is true that many times IRL things can interfere with the development, which is totally normal and understandable, although from what I read you are already approaching the final phase of the development of this update, so good luck :)

I indeed am in the final phase : ) It's not as much about irl getting in the way as it is, I believe, the fact that this game now has so many scenes that I try to go the extra mile to make all the new ones different from the rest, which means more complexity and more stuff to commission so they can stand out. But it might just be an excuse I tell myself to justify the delays, who knows?^^

I don't really care if the game is delayed a little bit if it means better quality, something I like about you is how careful you are and how you always look for each update to be the best possible, so always take the time you think is necessary :)

Will you post PoLs for the endings by the way ? I found out about you literally like a week before you released the demo for HC3 so i wasn't around when you were working on the endings for HC2, so i have no idea what went down back then. On one hand i would imagine that you would 100% keep making PoLs during that time just to keep us updated on things, but on the other hand i feel like it would be tricky to post screenshots about the endings and to even just talk about what you've been working on the week prior because how easy it would be to spoil something about them.

Also, again because i was not around when you were working on your previous games, is there like a specific order in which you're going to release the endings or you're just gonna wing it and decide on which one you're gonna release first when you reach that point in the game ?

I'm not 100% sure how I did it back with HC2, but one thing's for certain is that I'm going to keep people updated with PoLs. Maybe I'll keep things vague and post screenshots either blurred or that don't show too much. Honestly, it's not going to change much from what I'm doing right now I think. As for the endings, I want to have a NTR sandwich. First release one of the NTR variations, then Happy, then Revenge (or switched around), then the last NTR ending.

Thanks! I always want to keep trying to release the update as fast as possible, because the moment I allow myself some breathing room, I feel like it's a slippery slope that'll see me get a bit less disciplined with the way I work. I don't want to overwork myself either, so I try to strike a balance between the two.

I'll see if I add more maid scenes for her. For this extra scene, the vibrator is just an extra accessory to show the maids have fallen so far they're willing to put it on as their "working uniform", but it isn't central to the scene itself.

quick question, will there be any changes to the portraits of rose and the other three women in this update and/or in the following ones?

In the next ones. I want to have one last portrait change before the endings (which should modt likely have a portrait of their own based on the ending itself).
