You do realize the only reason she beat you is because she didn’t surface, right? As in, she didn't use any of the conventional strokes. Not that I don’t think she could learn, but Aya and Saki were always better UNDER the water, as they worried less about pesky things like form and more about how to squeeze as much out of their lungs as possible, maximizing their stay. Which yes, did include form, but streamlining your body for diving down is a different matter to, say, the breaststroke. That said, it’s about time we get at least one of them back in the water. That is kind of what the series hinges on.

Frankly, as far as I know, Saki cheated on the race. There's a specified length that the swimmer can spend submerged, as far as I remember?
