I like the idea of Saki being the group’s air tank. Lung power monster indeed. But you’re telling me that these three are all practiced enough that they can join Aya and Saki on a trip to the Yeayama-Maru and that they have experience sharing air? Why wasn’t the plan to just swim back up? They aren’t Shrine Maidens… or Aya. They definitely don't have the training to simply deny their bodies instinct to breathe. Thinking about this situation, they also carried their writing utensils, books, and study guides (all in waterproof material, obviously) with them when they dove, as none of their swimsuits have pockets. They’re all wearing the form fitting sporty one pieces, after all, which is why I was initially surprised (and a little disappointed) that Saki wasn’t in her bikini. She could have carried the pens in her bikini brief if she had.

I think no matter how strong of her lung power is, Saki can only supply air for two people at most, especially considering that the other two are not yet skilled. There is an upper limit to human's lung capacity, judging by the picture, Saki's thoracic capacity is not very large, all of her trainings can only reduce her air consumption, like slowing her heart rate, increase CO2 tolerance, improves the diving response of humans levels etc...
