If we had an online store, What type of merch (merchandise) would you want from the Five Minute Summer franchise? Any input is appreciated!

I would like posters and viewcards. But most of all I would like to buy physical editions of your stories. Or at least digital pdf version of smaller shorter stories. That might not fit as well for a manga book style. Character cards is also an option as I remember back in the past you did design something similar here on Patreon. The list could go on and on, but I think it might be best to focus on the basic for now. Before expending even more

I would say plushies and figures would be awesome. Also smaller stuff like keychains, magnets, acryl stands or little figures are also nice :-)

What I would want more than anything is a game. I feel like either a visual novel or something more in line with UWFan Tomson’s Apnea Club would work very well. It doesn’t have to be triple A, but something where you could swim around as the characters and explore the different underwater sites we’ve been to, before returning to the pool to train. It would be a dream come true.

While posters and figures would be a good start, what I would really enjoy (if it's at all possible, of course) would be some kind of art book or a guidebook that details the characters and summarizes the series' story. That may be a little resource-intensive, but it would be a great collectible for both long-time fans and newcomers that could really provide a strong sense of history.

FOXEYE Studios could be a potential candidate if the duo were to reach out to him, as naturally, a video game or visual novel still takes plenty of time and effort, and his anime-like style meshes well with the cast.

I second the voice drama or ASMR, actually! I know someone that *could* translate Japanese script into English so the majority could read captions, and this person is part of the UW community as well. The hardest part would probably be finding the fitting voice actors and paying them consistently. Now this makes me wonder if Saki would have a monotone, kuudere type voice -w-

Several great suggestions have already been made, so aside from something such as mobile or Desktop wallpapers, I'd like to suggest trying to theme the various merchandise off of Okinawa (Or the Miyako Islands) and the FMS cast's culture, for example you could take after Okinawa's several different charms and present some FMS themed ones?

There’s another creator known as aaa aaa on Pixiv, and he’s actually working on a sequel to his “Adventures of a Diving Girl” right now. He could be another candidate, as he already has a strong grasp of how to make swimming with an air meter in interesting underwater environments, as well as basic character customization. I can imagine taking the girls on a replica dive down to the shipwreck at 250 meters, and the shrine swim with Tomokazu. You might have to separate them into levels, but imagine having to train in the pool to get the girls back in shape. And of course there would be a swimsuit customizer.

2D would certainly be easier and more cost effective. Just make sure to use aquarium safe plastics since we won't be able to resist the urge to sink them

That's true, I almost forgot about AAA. He can also go by uwmmmdd, and he definitely can make some good projects for the Duo if both sides are ever interested.

Bed sheet, quilt, blankets and hug pillow... And print of our characters in different underwater states like normal, begin feel uncomfortable, reach limit and drowned...

An ASMR of the entire process of one of their deep sea dives would be amazing, actually. But you’d have to include everything, and at least very basic illustrations. By everything I mean changing into swimsuits and planning their dive, to the deep breath before submersion, to tiny things like grunts and gurgles made while underwater, and a final breath when they return to the surface.

Standees would be nice. I know I certainly would buy print copies of your works, too. I'd just like to be able to store them discreetly for whenever I have family visiting 😅

Figurines, daily uses objects, keychains, cardgame, stickers, thermos…. I would buy them if i can either enjoy seeing them or enjoy using them, if its too hiden i would be sad :(

Thank you so much for your comments! Many ideas look good - I originally thought of T shirts and caps but those may be too discreet - smaller, in-house items may be favorable. Definitely will think of a merch plan in the near future! :-)
