Is Chihaya suggesting that she lasted longer in a pool than she did in the ocean during the match with Saki? Or is she not counting that one since she blacked out? That means she lasted at least eleven minutes and change in a pool without being under duress. She could have come up to breathe at any point. She’d have some explaining to do, but that really wouldn’t override her survival instinct. This also confirms that Aya HASN’T hit a new record, or at least isn’t keeping track. She wouldn’t be the kind to not brag back as soon as anyone told her about their own personal breathhold. I’m excited for the cousins and Saki to get back in the water. If we’re lucky, Tomokazu might come along for the dive. Or maybe we finally have that rematch with Eri? There’s a lot you can do here.

Before that I think Saver should finish Tomo's first Sanctuary trip first. Because that story happened relatively early.

I think the idea was that that dive was going on while some of Chihaya’s story was progressing in Tiger Lily. So while I would agree, it’s not strictly necessary. That said, I think a resolution to that dive could come in handy informing us just what Tomo is capable of. Imagine all four of them making a dive to another Sanctuary Shrine site!
