Ok I just saw the word princess and almost did freak out. Not knowing if Jun was the secret princess that has been teased about at first😅

I wonder what kind of “help” Saki is thinking of offering? She’ll obviously be going underwater with everyone else, but if Yuri is the witness what exactly can Saki do under the rules? And just how long does miss Princess think she can stay down for? All reasonable expectations are for her to come up after a minute, maybe less, but that wouldn’t be very exciting. Also, shouldn’t the line be “so, I’m just a princess.” The way it’s written she sounds like Yoda.

I wonder if Saki will be the life guard. As that I would figure would be the main reason for having her here. Seeing how she is basically the best diver of the group. Also yeah maybe Jun will start to speak like Yoda that would be so funny if she did lol XD As a few examples “out of air I’m” “swam too deep I did” 🤣

Being the lifeguard would make sense, but I was wondering. Saki is definitely the best diver under normal circumstances, but we have to remember just how strongly Chihaya felt. She immediately rose to the defense of Ken, even without fully understanding what was going on, so she’s probably willing to stay down past her blackout point to ‘defend his honor’ or something. She also recently broke her breathhold record (which she confirmed to Aya before the trip). All that is to say is she’s dangerous right now, both to any possible competitors as well as herself.

That is why Saki would be the best possible option for a life guard. As she is the only one who could outlast Chihaya. Because I don’t think that Yuri can really do that even if she is fairly talented herself. Saki and Chihaya also have a friendship and connection that they formed in AGVG. Which could convince Chihaya to stand down. But even despite all of that I expect we will see some peril. Which I honestly welcome, and I hope that we get to see how Saki carry there drown buddies or whatever. Seeing how that part was skipped about 100 pages ago when Saki did a study session inside a wreck with her classmates
