Tomo is proud to have made the six minute mark with relative comfort. But he still had the luxury of having air in his lungs - his sister meanwhile had none and has long sunk like a rock :-)

It’s so awesome to see Tomo being in his swim brief and be able to do a 6 minutes breath hold with ease. Meanwhile it’s impressive that Saki can do a 6 minutes empty lung breath hold

Damn boi, looking good, looking great on time and physical too, i can see why sis Saki is on him xD 😆 👌

It’s nice to see Tomo like this. Feels more natural. I wonder if this is before or after his “Corridor Minor” dive? If so, he was never in any real danger, and has improved much faster than everyone in the series minus our three main heroines. Is this meant to imply that Saki is doing an empty lung hold? That’s a long time, even for her. I really do hope we get more like this, even in the main series.

I think that Tomo might be on Yuri’s level now at least. Seeing how she can handle between 7-8 minutes of holding her breath. So Tomo is really improving quickly I guess he can thank his genes from his mother for that. Same for Saki as her mother Misao was able to do a 17 minutes empty breath hold. So this is some good training. I would indeed like to see Tomo getting pushed more even in the main story. As this proves once again that he has great potential

I think Saki could challenge primary Sanctuary caves like Corridor Minor with empty lungs in future(Of course, safety measures must be taken.) When she succeeds to a certain extent in the challenge, she could challenge the final ritual. I believe there is such a requirement in the way of Sea Priestess' training

The post pretty explicitly says he’s still comfortable with air left after six minutes. From the Soaked Spirits series, Yuri needed air badly at the six minute point, to the extreme that she had to try to take air from unconscious Eri at the time. By this logic, Tomo may already be past her level, and could potentially be approaching his sister’s skill level at the beginning of Apnea Girl Meets Girl, which is around seven and a half minutes. Saki’s training of her brother is definitely having an effect. We could always send Tomo and Yuri down without support and see who breaks first…

Personally I would also wanna sent Eri down together with them. As I would say that Eri is one step above Yuri. Seeing how in some pictures she is shown to last longer then Yuri before blacking out

Eri is likely still a step above Tomo, but if he’s going to be helping his sister with these ultradeep, super long shrine dives he’ll eventually need to surpass her and at least be on Chihaya’s level, if not Aya. Either way, I’m excited to see what he can accomplish. Just keep him in swim trunks or briefs, please!
