A couple of panels ago she was on the ground dazed and spitting water. So probably still doing that. Apparently water polo is better for underwater stamina than swim team. After all, the other two recovered just fine.

Care to share, Tomo? Because I have no idea why she would do such a thing. Wasn’t this whole dive supposed to be more of a “let me show you what I do for a living” than an actual ceremony? We don’t even know if this was a particularly long hold, since Saki gave up a lot of air to Toko. And why did Tomokazu surface early? He’ll be diving with Saki on some of these shrine trips in the future, and his sister won’t have the ability to help him while they’re down there. What even are his responsibilities as an assistant?
