Chihaya Natori thought herself of a perfectionist, and proudly so - still in a very early phase of her life, being a perfect girl seemed like a feasible task.

Definitely true. Pushing your limits the way Chihaya does - especially alongside other incredibly talented freedivers, ones that seem to have more natural talent - is much harder when one is rigidly pursuing perfection. Luckily, she has done a solid job cultivating a deep sense of joy throughout Five Minute Summer, so she definitely has what it takes to keep improving without letting her perfectionist tendencies regularly getting the best of her.

Yeah she has been pushing herself so much to try and keep up with Aya and Saki. That she often black outs, but as they say “what that does not kill you makes you stronger.” So Chihaya has become a better diver because she has overcome so much
