This might be a little off topic, but what happened to Breathstopper? Are you going to complete that? Because I really want to see how it ends :3

And my prediction was correct! Aya passes (or in this case stops at) our diver at his safety stop. Question - what does that hand signal mean, if they're making one? Or is it just Chihaya only knowing her and Aya's "bubble" language, and our diver of course not knowing that, and they're trying to figure out some way to communicate?

Ah, so that's the diving "OK" sign. Wonder if Chihaya (or Aya) know it? The "up" and "down" "your name" gave are obvious enough, even without knowing it. -WAIT- They don't know it (then.) "Thumbs up" means "up," but they used it for "OK." Unless they've learned something since then, Chihaya has no idea what he means. (ChihAya seem to normally use bubble language, a combination of lip/body language reading based on how well they know each other, and most of the signals being totally irrelevant to their type of diving anyway.)

Wonder if Chihaya thinks he means "30," the most obvious non-diving meaning?
