この2作品、結構放映時期が近かったような。『ブッシュベイビー』の方にも確かUWあったけど、まあ全く『ティコ』の比ではなかったですね（笑

I recall these two shows were aired close together. While The Bush Baby did feature some UW scenes, those were nothing compared to the feats in Tico and the Seven Seas. (LOL

I remember Saver saying before that Jackie was from the show Bush Baby. Which was one of the early anime shows that made underwater scenes popular. Which did inspire the show in Tico of the Seven Seas to have Nanami be in so many underwater scenes

Probably this show won’t air nowadays due to sticking to political correctness (a white girl in British-ruled Kenya with a colored servant following her around…)

That is sad that certain stories are not really allowed to be told anymore, just because of the current social climate. But isn’t Japan less into the whole political correctness then the western media is?

I mean the political correctness thing doesn't seem to bad to me, except when it becomes too obtrusive....and I feel this particular series was very "innocent," i.e. Jackie was very cute and attractive, but that was all due to her inner qualities rather than superficial/frivolous traits like she was of British nationality with blond hair/blue eyes. Too bad the video is currently not available in Amazon due to considerations unknown.

The problem with political correctness in the west is that it have become too obtrusive over the years. With how they are trying to reboot most famous franchise in Hollywood to be more PC for example.
