Oh? New girl?

Seawolf

What a cutie ❤

Didrik Svahn

Oh we finally get to see Jun Arima which has been teased before. I hope that we get to see her in deep dives alongside our other girls ^_^

thekill

ohh, cute ! i wonder what her record dive is, and what story she has :O

Titan1017

My guess is she’s more of a pool diver. You know, for points from judges. And I’ve never seen those types of divers underwater for more than a few seconds. Then again, I’d love for her to tag along with our other girls to a wreck, thinking it was a scuba trip, and being so enamored with the idea of holding her breath for as long as them she immediately starts training.

savaster

We initially planned to keep her a McGuffin and have her appear in name only but here she is :-)

Didrik Svahn

So by McGuffin do you mean something that the characters would haunt or seek out, similar to Saki’s father?

Nathan Sample

I'm always glad to see a new girl around here! :)

savaster

Not quite, just means a hidden surprise character-)

Didrik Svahn

Ok that isn’t how the word is commonly used when talking about stories and writing. Here is a good video that explains what McGuffins are if you want to know more about it https://youtu.be/_HcZluK6vxg

melangalade

you think of "deus ex machina" maybe? a character that shows up without previous mention and saves the day?

Didrik Svahn

But as Jun has already been mentioned or hinted at it would not be that much of a Deus ex machina in that case
