I love Saki and despite her character arc basically was finished in AGVG I still wanna see her more in the future :D

Ah Didrik you are very keen. As a matter of fact, we don't know any ways of putting Saki back into water now (facepalm) because she had said she actually did't like the ocean and was in it just to find Dad. Any ideas?

All I do is just speaking the truth of your and Aster’s work ^^ Well did you not imply that when she is freediving for long period of time that she sees the spirit of her mother. And by the end of AGVG it seems like she did finally realize who that spirit was. So maybe now with this knowledge she would want to try and see her mother again this way? This could be a great way if you and Aster want to expend on the lore of the Sea Shrine Maidens. As it would give many opportunities to do so

I was wondering, but it seems like, according to The Sea Shrine Maiden stories, that there is more than one Shrine Maiden in training at once. With Saki realizing just how good Aya and Chihaya are, could she take them under her wing and train them in her duties? This could be a way to demonstrate how much of a better person she is, as Saki could actively choose to help the island people who separated her from her family. You could even introduce the concept of a “grand priestess trial” (the one that lasts over 1000 seconds) and have the cousins help Saki train up by pushing her to dive longer and farther than ever. Name it something along the lines of Apnea Girl Meets Priestess. If you need other ideas all you have to do is ask!

The United States is only exempt from visas for Japan for 90 days. Saki's nationality should have been determined to be Japanese by these elders, so she has to return within a limited time. And her duties as Sea Shrine Maiden don't allow her to be away for too long. Besides, Tomokazu has never met his father since his birth. Remember? By the settings of Sea Shrine Maiden story, there are many other Sea Shrine Maidens around Japan, they hold a grand festival Irregularly, and there is a diving challenge ritual or diving competition at the festival. Saki must attend on behalf of her island. Saki can trade with the elders on this condition, if she wins. they must allow her father to back Miyako.

Idk if Saki can train Aya & Chihaya to be Sea shrine maiden as is not that something that you need to be born with? So unless the cousin is related to a shrine maiden (which have been theorized in the past) I’m unsure if they could. But they probably could still hang out with Saki as friends who support her. Also is not Saki’s nationality also American? As I remember children of dual citizenship in Japan have until they turn 20 to decide on a single one. So you that live in Japan can tell me if I’m correct in what I have heard about that

By Japanese nationality law, any person born in wedlock to at least one Japanese parent is automatically a Japanese national. Even Saki has dual nationality, before she is 15 years old, her legal representative (usually the legal guardian) can apply to the government for her direct naturalization of Japanese nationality, that is, to automatically renounce American nationality involuntarily. Now Saki is 15 years old, all measures may have been accomplished. https://www.moj.go.jp/MINJI/minji78.html#a07 Whether her legal guardian is one of the elders or the grand priestess, they will not allow her not to be Japanese.

And yes, both Saki and Tomokazu have Japanese nationalities only, so that they would not think about going to the U.S. being the only surviving heirs to the island priestess. In the meantime, their father has been evicted and legally banned from re-entering Japan, so some meticulous planning here :-)

Also I’m sure that Saki may pressure the elders to revoke her father’s banishment. As she could say that she will not perform anymore duties without him here :)

Glad that you plan to continue Saki's story, there are still many mysteries around her that have not been solved.

Since I'm posting late, I'm not sure if this can be read. I had an idea inspire mostly by fanarts of Kokomi from Genshin Impact where Saki would be diving underwater in her priestess attire as part of one of the island rituals.
