The Pit is getting ready for Halloween, and your costume might be the only thing keeping your secrets safe.

The upcoming Masquerade of Secrets brings a new costume party on Day 30 (in game), with preparation choices, masked encounters, and secrets to uncover. Make your own Midnight Witch outfit, or visit Lexi at the Sex Shop for the Velvet Maid or Black Cat costumes. Each offers a different level of anonymity, and how you spend the evening can draw attention.

Gather secrets for Rika’s prize while keeping an eye on suspicion. A disguise helps, but staying unrecognized takes more than dressing the part…

There’s also plenty happening beyond the party. Here are some of the biggest changes coming to gameplay and balancing:

House Vult opens recruitment. Build your position through investments with delayed returns, daily term sheets, growing contacts, collateral settlements, and rival resolutions, with Boardroom milestones along the way.

Self-esteem becomes a persistent stat. Achievements, rejection, public humiliation, and standing up for yourself now shape the MC’s self-image, influencing mood resilience and her ability to hold boundaries.

Your reputation becomes more visible. Students react across campus through new visual details, personality-aware approaches, and conversations with choices and consequences.

Social tools get clearer. Who’s Around becomes easier to browse, while Social Links gains relationship sorting and visible scores. DormCam discovery also gets clearer routes through campus exploration.

More flexibility during intimate encounters. Activity switching preserves each partner’s progress, alongside expanded protection preferences, firm boundaries, and negotiation.

The MC Pet route gets a broader daily loop. Named handlers, assignments, summons, campus reactions, ally support, and debt-based release give the route more structure.

Stress, Sanity, and recovery get another balance pass. Expect improved recovery, gym meditation, free gym entry, clearer overload warnings, and more everyday ways to reduce External Attention. An optional setting also lets you disable Sanity management and asylum content.

Rewards get a wider rebalance. Major milestones remain the focus for card rewards, while Musk Dust supports repeatable progress more consistently across activities.

You’ll also find quicker opening options, a dorm Skip day button, searchable Perk Collection tags, clearer shop bundles and Elite Tab information, and another polish pass on the Back-to-School party.

Pick your costume carefully. The mask might hide your face, but the evening can still leave a mark.
